Had originally imagined creating a look like Snidely Whiplash, but this was as close as I could get (the outfit that looks more proper requires positive honor, and I've been a bad boy). The mustache eventually grew out to the sides much more, but got a bit unruly. Just finished the story yesterday, and never really got into the in-game photos, so all the screenshots I have are Xbox screens while I was playing... not framed properly around the character. Can't see the multi tone half chaps, same colors as the rest of my outfit. Hadn't been customizing my guns yet, so they look like crap. Now that I've finished, my pistols are gold plated with black inlay, and the rifles are black with gold inlay and yellow/black wood (forget the name of the type) with the darkest leather I could get. Currently working on several other looks3 points

Because of the money. The Citizens United v. FEC case really opened the floodgates for unbridled political contributions and spending. If you think back far enough to remember prior to that decision, the ads were nowhere near as bad as they were once that decision was made. Literally hundreds of millions of dollars are spent, and everyone wants a slice of the pie. Special interests have many reasons to pour money into candidates' campaigns: (1) supporting candidates with money grants access to that person once they're in office. If you want legislation supported or blocked, you can leverage your donations to influence the lawmaker. (2) Favorable legislation in many industries, including deregulation, can have economic ramifications of BILLIONS of dollars. Drug companies. Arms manufacturers. Special Interests (Big Oil, the NRA, Banking/Investment firms, etc) all stand to gain from favorable legislation. Another part of it is people need to feel like they belong to something. Anymore, everyone has this false sense of connection because of the ubiquity of the Internet. It's a shallow imitation of real life interaction and relationships--to the point that people willingly become indoctrinated into a political ideology for the express (if not unrealized) reason of belonging to something both greater than themselves, and real. Elections have consequences, and for folks with an unhealthy relationship with politics, that obsession fills a void. I'm personally very interested in politics from an academic perspective. For me, it's fun to watch the ways in which people of all political persuasions play games with logic and truth to fit a particular narrative or ideology. It certainly has it's downsides, as extremism and radicalization on either end of the political spectrum has created a toxic partisan atmosphere that most reasonable folks find abhorrent. I vote, but I make decisions based on individuals, or morals not party allegiance. What, you don't miss the slow-motion black and white ads that have the dude with the sinister voice talking in that distinct dialect: "BropolloCreed79 likes to eat burritos. If he eats Mexican food, how can we trust him to secure our borders?" And then the woman's voice reading like the MicroMachines guy: "ThisadpaidforbyAmericansForBorderSecurityandisinnowayendorsedbyanycandidate"2 points

Gold duplicate glitch, instant $15,000 everytime. Ruins the game of earning money though. You can find the glitch on google.com2 points

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one that made that mistake... (I actually did encounter a fish that floated above the water for a minute though)2 points

Keep in mind that not everyone is encountering these bugs... It would take more than "one play through"... I'm assuming you've checked your horse? Not trying to say it's perfect, but it's also a MASSIVE game with tons of different interactions/options. Bugs are to be expected. When is the last time you played a game at release that was 100% perfect? I know I never have.2 points

I've just started Chapter 3, but I love exploring and discovering things. Was made aware of rdr2map.com yesterday so I won't be seeing Chapter 4 anytime soon!!2 points

Cheers dude, found her on the far east side of the map in the woodland area north of the bayou (was actually trying to find a panther to hunt) wondering if there are other 'abused' style skins for different horse breeds? Ive named her Scabby Sue2 points

Still on chapter 2 and loving this game. I've had it since day 1 and have just got caught up in the challenges and other things like the stranger missions. Anyone hung back in the early chapters or have most of you completed it and now on 2nd playthrough? Also anyone noticed they've removed the challenges progress from the app/social club? Found it convenient to use instead of pausing the game to check progress.1 point

I vote randomly because i just don't give a sh*t about who's in charge, as long as he/she doesn't **** up and cause ww3 or some other horrible sh*t. It doesn't effect me in the slightest bit.1 point

No patch for the pro no more rockstr games. This is the conclusion for me.1 point

Personally, I have no interest in the exploit. It takes away from the gameplay. Funny enough, I've found that looting provides a wealth of valuable tonics, jewelry and other items I can sell to fences for a tidy sum. I actually try to seek out gang camps and ambushes because of this.1 point

Just play the game, there's one bank job mission that you'll come across and then if you crack each safe you'll never worry about money again. I always had $2-3000 in cash1 point

Most people are looking for help, or at least another person having the same issue. Same here. I have the "I'll figure it out" mentality and would much rather just start playing the game than sit through a tutorial.1 point

I see no new persons that make some noise on the support forum. Iยดm really tired now. I do that all for the community. I hope the patch give us an option to clean up the blur. Nearly 800 Million Dollars in one week. They can use 2 percent of the benefit and thanxs the gamers that buy her f....ing games to create a patch. No answer from the support since a week. reddit is not a oppinion to talk over the issues. To many a..wipes or stoopid a..holes are in that Thread.1 point

Found this online. Hope it helps... "This one's going to be tricky, as that includes all of the Legendary fish throughout the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. You'll need to complete the campaign before you can even attempt this challenge, but you can track the types of fish you've caught (and the ones you have left) in the 100% section of the progression menu."1 point

It's not "The Left" it's a small amount of idiots who claim to be left wing. It *is* pretty tasteless to go out of your way to upload a video of carrying out your anti-feminist fantasies, but it absolutely 100% makes no difference to me. To blame Rockstar for it is absurd too. The dude making the videos is baiting the super-liberal and they have fallen for it. Non-story.1 point

Like you, still in chapter 2. Been on a major free roam, mostly walking. Not killing a bunch of people yet. Though I did manage to stumble across 2 gangs. Now those - I killed ๐ been swapping out horses, leveling them up. Even the Tenn. Walker, named - Plz sell me ๐1 point

During the actual first playthrough of the game, I never punched my horse. However, once I discovered the funny events that occur after doing so, I tried it for a laugh. Very enjoyable. Sort of? Lol1 point

Welcome to the wild west @KoolChameleon What I enjoy the most about browsing the forum is meeting, talking, and discussing Red Dead Redemption 2 related subjects, and keeping conversations civil. I hope you have nothing but the best experience here at RDR2.org. Fond regards ๐1 point

Seems to be a trend with new games these days. If you can't figure something out, assume it is the game's fault and not your own! lol I am one of those gamers who never reads/checks the controls in a game and I have screwed up like this because but I never assumed it was the game.1 point

I've been following this forum and issue for over a week now, and, sadly, I finally caved and picked up an XBO X to resolve it. I work long hours at my job, waiting patiently for months to play this game, and am just tired of the day-to-day suspenseful wait to simply see whether Rockstar *is aware* of the issue. To whoever is doubting whether it's a legitimate issue on the PS4 Pro you're absolutely wrong. On the Pro with HDR the game is so muddy and blurry it looks like someone took a saturation and sharpness slider and dialed it back to -100. With HDR off a blur can be seen on character's faces and nearby objects in buildings that eventually becomes so distracting it will hurt your eyes. In 1080p the blur goes away, but the overall image quality falls noticeabl, with hair on head or horse looking pixelated and fuzzy to such an extent it looks like a PS3 game. I was prepared to be brutally honest with myself in determining whether the purchase was justified; the answer was clear within minutes. Image quality on the X has improved in all aspects substantially. There are many more details I wasn't able to see on the Pro: glitter on snow, a glow and flicker of candlelight, and lush facial animations. Overall, everything has become sharp and crisp. So to those questioning the legitimacy of this issue, don't. It's incredibly frustrating for anyone involved, and even though I have the correct experience in hand now, I definitely feel cheated. I'll play the game at least twice in first and third person and hopefully use the console for higher definition movie-watching, but hope this issue is resolved is resolved soon for those still stuck in wait.1 point

Preach it brother! .....nor is being 50 for that matter. While I may not be a badass (sadly, old injuries have aged my body beyond my years) , I know plenty of 50+ dudes few would consider messing with. Arthur reminds me of a bit younger Longmire.1 point

I honestly this glowing orange ring could be related to the "Horse On Fire" road that people are reporting that the road is haunted and will set your horse on fire if you ride through it. I think you can see it at night, or somehow he got to see it. I'm not sure if this is a rare bug to see in the game or not.1 point

Video games are really challenging to make perfect, especially at this level with so many details and options. Game possibilities are pretty much endless, so it's impossible for developers to NOT make mistakes here and there.1 point

I bought the game for the story and the online mode. I am usually an online gamer, but it's a Red Dead game so I needed to play the story to see what happened before John Marston's story.1 point
