Don't make blanket untrue statements. Seems very judgmental and kinda foolish. Tons of peoples level up in this game without being a lame ass. You must play with people like that. I'm sorry. And you can grind solo or in a posse. Not very hard. If you hate Free Roam, just grind Showdown. Solo players can still level up as fast as posses. Not that hard. I only run with a posse when I want to, not because I have to. I actually prefer running missions solo at times. Sometimes I just need quite.

I really.... really.... hope so. I felt so accomplished getting to the rank to use that. Now some rank 60 scrub will have them. Low ranks gonna become even more cocky and start sh*t.

Just made rank 82 so right in the neighbourhood for the pamphlets I was really looking forward to getting and now anyone at rank 60 can get them? Seriously R*? Way to piss off the most loyal portion of your player-base. Why not just introduce the Oppressor to Red Dead already and be done with it so I know not to waste any more of my time?

It's low key but not quite outright pay to win. Because people who suck at the game crying that they can't just swipe a card and have everything.

Had to grind hard to get them all, now more griefers will get them early.

Yep instead of the number going up to next level you start at top and work the number down. Works the same but I prefer old system

To be fair, there shouldn't be any guns/ammo/ability cards locked behind levels. This borks the balance beyond belief and makes no sense. And the game is too boring to grind for most people. Also there's plenty of griefers out there with explosive ammo.. Hunting down low levels and knowing full well the low levels have no chance. But I can tell you this much. With more people having the explosive rounds now, this is what the future will soon look like. Imagine one year from now. RDR end game will be either hiding in passive 'defensive mode' OR getting blasted by exploding ammo with auto aim. Old Red Dead Online had explosive rifles that would appear during a special hideout.. With limited amounts of ammo, that would disappear when you died. If it was up to me.. There would be NO explosive ammo. But if R* is going to add this BS to the game, then all players should have access to it.

The winter shotgun coat was only available last week. Don't know when or if it will ever be available again.

Yea they probably just should unlock all stuff so kids can buy Gold, away with all lvl recuirements so more can enjoy the same repetetive few things to do or just shoot the crap out of everything without anything to work towards.... this game would have been dead already

I have never done any of the exploits and made it to level 54 playing a lot and doing missions, story, hunting, fishing, etc. Only been playing for a couple months. I play just about every day for at least 4 hrs. Most all weekends. Weather hasn't been good so why not. Although, if I have the money and make it to 60, you bet I will get the pamphlets.

Calling like you see it? Lol...Ok. Why do you act like you have it so hard because you are solo? Just curious. I have been there too. We all have. Not that big of a deal. I didn't start running in a posse until I was 50s-60s. And that wasn't because I was like "poor low level me" , I was asked by a friend to join their RDR Group. But I would have been fine solo if I wanted to be. Game isn't hard or overwhelming. Lot's of people grind solo daily with minimum issues.

Ive read of few of these comments now, I see it both ways I am grinding the old fashioned way, all alone, and no exploits, and yeah it stinks a little to think of players being able to gain access to things I have worked so had for, but then I remember that many players over level 90 got their with exploits, and shenanigans. Not all but definitely many, and so whats the difference? If I have to grind out all alone, one level at a time with no exploits, and I am playing against players who were able to level up much much faster do to techniques no longer available, then isnt that the same thing? Either way, Im glad to see something happen today, we do need a player base fella's and if this will bring some people back or new people in then I say do it!! Its only a week, its not forever.

Exactly. I busted my ass to get high enough to get a top horse and those pamphlets. Feels like a straight shot to the balls. Guess this is their way of trying to bring players back for a week before we enter a content drought.

The XP Bar is also empty. Shouldn't it also count down? Or at least start filled and slowly empty the progress bar.

Here's what I use for a winter outfit that's actually rated for cold weather when you look at the outfit as a whole in your wardrobe. I have a sheepskin coat, wool shirt, buckskin vest, buckskin pants, moccasin boots and cutter hat. I always put this outfit on when I'm up in the mountains.

the other day it happened to me with turkeys. you realize ? the turkeys! they are usually everywhere .. well, that day seemed extinct for me! when I finally found one, it was by itself (they are always in groups of three or four elements).

Don't eat, let your health core become red sometimes. If you need to fill cores, go to camp, rest at fire. Or if need deadeye, drink bourbon. I've done that and I'm back down to max underweight and generally stay between -6 and -7.5%. Never bothered eating much either way because you're gonna die to a headshot or explosives in a split second anyway. It sucks right now that you really can't even eat if you don't want to be overweight. I only eat enough to not be max underweight as it has the same core drain as being max overweight.

Try a full power cycle on the console. Just pressing the power button doesn't do this entirely. I've never had many issues with the Daily Challenges, I get the occasional challenge which will ask me to get kills with a gun I don't own but aside from that I've been able to complete them with ease. I've found that the easiest way of completing challenges that involve animals is to go to the location where the animal spawns and session hop until you get the kills you need.

The last update seemed to have taken people from an underweight issue to an overweight issue. I was having this problem too. No amount of running around helped. I had to starve me dude to get his weight back down and even then, I have to do it now and then when he puts on weight. It is insane what they did.

When I read your post I would say that is really good enough for me. Since past 2 month, i'm having disconnectivity for every 10-15 minutes. Or on a good day it extend to 20-25 minutes. I try to pretend everything is okey , thanks to my friends who understand & didn't ask why I'm gone during mission. Lately it getting worse. The disconnect problem has cause my router to explode..!! Nah....I'm joking. Not explode, but the plastic cover broken. Some electronic board break into half. Maybe the antenna missing or the power cable is cut into pieces. The amount of stress plus disconnect just rise heat of moment. It all happen too fast. At the end, I saw my router flying to the wall because don't know who I should mad So,,f*# k me for that. Now I'm living with the consequence. Oh....that incident also the reason why I got time to write this, Sorry for listening the same bullshi%+, it just...too much to keep it to myself

Its broken after the last update. You can run across the map without any result and this is a known bug at rs so strange they gave you that info. Those support guys should get their sh*t together seriously.... The last couple of replies i got is embarrasing coming from one of the Worlds largest gaming company, they dont even answer my questions just the copy paste reply over and over

Yes half of them don't work especially if you have to get more than 1 of anything, I gave up.

Works for me too and is also best thing I ever bought, although explosive Express is a really close second, dynamite arrows 3rd? You have to read the pamphlets and then it should show up under ammo crafting. If you have and still doesn't show up contact support
