  1. Might be the combo of certain CPUs with the GPU then, because I've been playing since it came out (well, day 3 or something) without issues. Or rather, no GPU related issues at least, as far as I can tell. There were plenty other issues, with the Rockstar Launcher etc, and game crashes, but those were the issues many other players were also having.

  2. I get camp thing all of the time on Xbox One X. RockStar should give out XP if one can successfully get the camp to be pitched on the first request.

  3. I Honestly don't mind it. To me it's for the children anyway and if it puts them in holiday spirit , let it be. These youngsters enjoy it with visions of 🎅 live and let live. Happy holidays everyone !!

  4. Too much anger in here. I enjoy the music on occasion. Other times I just change the channel on my radio. When shopping i am stuck with it. There are worse things I can think of.

  5. I would like to remind you to keep the discussions in these forums civil and leave out the personal insults. All four posts so far since you joined have been geared this way. This thread has remained pretty light-hearted up to this point before this. Let's leave out the personal insults toward other members. "Off Topic" doesn't mean we throw all the rules out the window, etc.

  6. I deleted your first two posts on these forums because you necro bumped two old threads from the dead only to write inflammatory responses meant to provoke arguments. I saw nothing constructive in those or really necessary. Those two threads died 6-9 months ago and I really didn't see the need in having them resurrected just to sling more insults. Since you're new here and seem to be a little confused as to what this site is about..... At heart, this is an RDR2 fan forum meant to bring folks together to discuss the game, share feedback, ideas, help fellow members with questions / issues about the game, etc. How about we focus on that, yeah? Next time I would suggest PMing one of us vs. trying to make a public argument out of a decision we have made. I personally have no issue explaining to you why I make any of the decisions I do or helping you understand anything else about the forums. .......but these types of posts need to stop. I'm closing this thread. If you have any questions about it, please PM me. Making insulting threads like this questioning or decisions is not the way to do it. ....nor will it be tolerated. If this is why you joined here, you may want to rethink that.

  7. A friend of mine who basically runs the same computer as my brother has zero problems now yet my brother can't seem to catch a break with the game. I think there is more to it somewhere. Like maybe something with Windows or something.

  8. Yeah, that's definitely not the case for me. Mine would default to much higher settings, but I set them lower just incase. (I7 6700 with 12 gb RAM here, btw, if that matters. I dont know much about all that stuff, but the system is 4 yrs old, vid card a more recent addition.)

  9. It has never happened to me yet I am level 303. I rarely get disconnected though, and the few times I did I didnt have much if anything on my horse. I dont usually carry that many pelts but I did in a couple scenarios. Normally I hunt for daily challenges, so in doing that I skin everything after I get a 3 star carcass and then I go turn it all in. The wagon just takes time, cant access everywhere I can on my horse, can be an issue in certain locations, etc.. it just isnt for me. To each his own.

  10. Unsure about XP because by the time you get the big wagon youre level 20 pretty much anyway. You do need to buy the medium wagon first... then the large.. I disliked that also.. I skipped camp tent levels. If you do a delivery of between 26 and 50 pieces... You will be given the medium wagon for the mission... even if you own the large wagon. same as if you have 25 pieces or less. It will give you the small wagon... which is helpful for train bridges, etc. NOTE: If your on tricky terrain.. use "view mode" as it drives itself and you just need to hold the x button.. The yellow route will sometimes tale you into crashes though.. sometimes.. a footbridge and cliffy trail for me. NOTE: You can dynamite your wagon (up to medium) and if you spare the horse you can use the wagon horse plus your regular horse to carry TWO bags of up to 25lbs of goods each... The large wagon pays $625 distant and $500 local... which I was scared to do but have done a few times... I have had wagons attacked by griefers... fortunately my all explosive ammo level gives my repeater some clout. Still $625 would be painful in this game.. a little. So I mostly destroy my wagon when I do dailys... unless daily is about a wagon run. I then throw the bag or bags upon my horse... If I have a full large wagon... I switch to defensive (maybe) and go local... I make money collecting mostly. The hunting wagon I use mostly as a "courier". I do not drive it around but if I stumble upon a herd or get attacked by spotted pigs or wolves... then I throw the lot of them in the wagon and close it away... remembering to empty it often. They are all forgotten purchases already as collecting has proven lucrative enough to allow me many other recpes and purchases since. Huntings Okay... but now with collecting I can ride around and go.. aww,.. look at all the cute little bunnies frolicking.. and not even consider shooting them... and their ilk.

  11. Look, I’m not disagreeing with you... I’m just begging you wait until next week when the ‘Moonshiners is broken’ or ‘I can’t run my still because griefing’ threads come out... Nothing against you or your point of view... but you are kind of being the guy that ruins christmas by telling all the kids Santa isn’t real... The cap and balls worked a little different from than the cartridge revolvers of the day. But they all had flaws. For example, colts had a partial **** notch that was supposed to keep the pin off the primer... but that thin metal notch didn’t always hold reliably. After some use, it didn’t hold at all. Kind of the reason why things like transfer bars exist today. C O C K.... come on board managers... update the bloody autocensors to allow common words around firearms already...

  12. I tried it over the weekend and was similarly unimpressed. If it held more, and if I could maybe tether my horse to it so I could have both out at once, to facilitate more ranging, then maybe, but as it is I think I'll stick to my horse for hunting. With fast travel into Camp I'm never really short on stock, anyway.

  13. I have now had this for a few days and, in conjunction with the large delivery wagon, it has changed my (RDR) life/economy. Making $500 a run for local deliveries, I made four of those in my first two sessions, so easily paying for the investment in my camp. Now I can fast travel in when I take good carcasses, then run other missions while Cripps works his magic. Suddenly I have gone from being a subsistence economy to having $3-4000 in cash constantly, freeing me up to just do what I fancy. Also started me levelling up more quickly - in the eighties now and doing a couple of ranks a session. Amazing stuff. Just need to work out how to work the hunting wagon now (bought it with my new-found riches but haven't used it).

  14. Are you weak? Cant take it that families enjoy the darkest month in year, at least for the northern hemisphere of the globe, and what the western culture is built upon? Yea, ok, lets join the leftists who wants to cancel christmas and our culture. Theres going to come such good things out of that. Weak? no, I think you are very wise. People will do good looking to you for guidance.
