You mean none of you ever into a saloon and just smacked a random NPC in RDR?

You are indeed a very fortunate Dad, seems a perfect Fathers day gift, clearly well deserved, and from a loving family ...awesome
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I am sure about the time the title screen goes up, my wife will breakout the old Honey Do-List. hehehehe

Sad part is I don't think he realizes that the online is being delayed and him and I have been playing GTA Online together.

Just start everyone around the perimeter of the map on horseback, randomly spaced apart, or have preselected spawns but random assignments. To drive everyone closer together, have either tornadoes or wildfire closing in.
Better yet. The could just start in a bar having drinks. Players spawn randomly in the middle of a bar fight.

Since about Father's Day, my wife and son pre-ordered RDR2 for me. Since, my son who is terrible at keeping secrets has been trying to find ways to let me know. As a good father I keep pretending to be blind to the evidence or hints he keeps dropping.
Well, this weekend end he got me. While the pre-order was downloading, he had opened up the que on his xbox. Minutes later he comes in and tells me his xbox was working, said he put a game in and there was some smoke and everything died. Now being a guy who has worked in electronics all my life, this isn't totally unheard of, so I run in to handle the situation, totally bull in a china shop. Get in there and sure enough RDR2 plastered across his TV screen. He then politely ask me if I see what is loading on the screen. I turn pretending to be angry, asking him why he's getting RDR2 and I didn't. Seeing him grinning from ear to ear. I couldn't hold it and started smiling myself. He then told me "Happy Father's Day and explained that I would have gotten it sooner, but Rockstar messed up big time and didn't deliver in time. "
For a kid who has been trying for months to clue me in to the surprise, he finally got me.

How would they spawn players into the map in a BR mode since we can’t parechute
blindfold, gag, and hogtied to the back of a horse and sent out in the middle of a battlefield. You have to free yourself before you can start fighting.

Gotta say this is a great way to get players excited.

I remember in RDR1 on many many occasions being "killed", by a throwing knife from 4000 yds away, a glitch that allowed players to kill themselves off map, then continue playing but totally invisible, killing as they wished ... why ??? so effin pointless other than to mess with other players enjoyment.
There was also a glitch where you could set up in the mountains and snipe anyone, anywhere. I hated it, cause you could be fighting people down in Mexico and get sniped by a player up in Tall Trees area.

Please stop with the ‘hey let’s add zombies’. If you rework the idea into an alternate reality, like Deadlands RPG, then by all means have at it. But adding zombies just for fun is sorta worn out in my opinion.
I would rather zombies, then say aliens. Personally don't want players flying around in UFOs and using hi-tech bombs in PvP. As long as they can make it fit the time period. Zombies isn't all bad idea. Yeah it has been overused by other games. If Rockstar can do it right. I do don't they will though. Cause it has been done.

I'd be interested to see if there are any repercussions for killing someone's horse.
Especially online.
@OP, from what I have seen the new honor system is based on different scenarios. Your gang may see oneside of you while the rest of the world may see another. I would expect that behaving a certain way may open up different paths in the game. For example, if you behave like a complete lunatic, Bill may find a kindred spirit and invite you to Fort Mercer to have a drink with some of his friends. Where if you disagree with his ideals, will you may find yourself shot outside of Fort Mercer and left for dead, till some blond lady and her hired hand stop and pick you up and take you home. Can't say that won't happen.

I liked Undead Nightmare DLC. Thought it was a good spin off of the original, yet kept it familiar to the original design. I would love to see it updated for the new game. Though I don't think they will repeat it, I would like to see something similar that could have been tied to that era. Lots of myth and legends that could be used.
Not a fan of the whole alien theme, hits too close to the whole GTAV vibe for me. Prefer to stay away from bringing that stuff into RDR2.

Don't get me wrong here, but ............................Rockstar has been working on this game for roughly 7 to 8 years. There shouldn't have to be 100 hours of work required per week. I have had those jobs where I worked 100+ hours because deadlines was coming up. You can't really play the whole Rockstar is the superstar of the gaming community, so it's ok for them to over work their employees for the sake of the game. Especially when they have 7 years to go this done. Logically there shouldn't have to be a big push at the end, when this should have been planned and there should be no unexpected surprises. This isn't Rockstar's 1st rodeo and this isn't the 1st time Rockstar has be accused of over working their employees.
I expect a great game because of all of the hardwork and I am sure people aren't chained to their desks till everything is done, but at this point Rockstar shouldn't be in this position where they have to over work anyone. They know the game too well.
-
At this point it should be wrapping up development. Still writing it at this point would be nuts. Then again I did read an article where they have been making employees working 100+ hours a week to get stuff wrapped up for next week. Which is nuts in my opinion. It isn't the 1st time that Rockstar has been accused of slave driving their employees to meet deadlines. Makes me respect the employees for their efforts, not so much for Rockstar.

In some games "Actors" include those that do the movements. Kind of like the hand model theory.

Curiosity made me look... Seems like most of them are slow cookers/pressure cookers/rice cookers/steamers.
Interesting, but they seem kind of pricey.
As long as it is your money, price means nothing to us. hehehehe

I will probably go with the old standby, Ford Mustang, Ford Bronco, Dodge Colt, ..................Things like that.

I feel that you will be hearing in under 3 days from some guy who beat it in 60 hours, cause they could.
Edit: I just hope they supply DLCs for it down the road.

I read somewhere that the size of you gang can vary. That pending on your actions it is possible that some gang members may for the sake of arguments, go take a breather. Keeping roughly a average gang size at all times. So I am curious, how what the total size of the gang can get up too or down too. Pending one where you are during the game.

Again though, this one doesn't really have an impact on anyone else. I don't really see a problem with that, but understand why you got banned lol
It's the cheats that screw over other players that piss me off. You were just taking a shortcut.
A shortcut that could allow him to buy the next great weapon of mass destruction that he could use to grief other players. I sorry he got banned, but I support it to. At least he didn't come in saying it wasn't his fault he did it 20 times.

iirc, the handle on the lid and the pegs for the feet are both held in by screws and nuts. Either of those could get dislodged by a curious child.
Really, from a legal perspective, anything that can be broken off or removed with a minimal amount of force or effort that fits within the mouth constitutes a choking hazard, so they need to cover themselves.
Or we could just teach our children, "Don't eat the household appliances and that includes the slow cooker!"

Gotta say, I never even played that game, and never will. Anyone else in the same boat?
Same here, but I studied them when learning about the history behind RDR

Things you once believed about the game that ended up being untrue?

To be fair I only did that once, but to my defense. The players in there was already waiting for a fight and I was trying to hit another player and a NPC got in my way. So I missed my target and guns were pulled before I could do much else.
