yeah but you can't get them until chapter 4. So why not get the best horse in the game prior to chapter 4 when you start chapter 2?

i think you can turn off those notifications in the settings. Might check that also.

Was trying this one this weekend. Van Horn Saloon is hte place to do challenges.
go in the saloon, shoot someone in hte head, you then have numerous people to use the knives on.

Thought i'd make this easier and use improved throwing knives, they didn't count, has to be regular throwing knives.

lol it's been around a long time. They dumbed it down some over the years. Used to be you'd put in your search subject, then the link for the result you wanted and it made a small video of typing in your search then clicking the link for you in the results.

Small? they're the same size as the quarter horse, one of the most popular breeds of horse in the wild west. Quarter Horse, Morgan and Apaloosa were said to be the most favored in the old west. Arabians were first brought to America in the 18th century, some claim the first one in America was a gift to George Washington. In the US during the wild west they were mostly ridden by the 1%, you didn't see many cowboys on them, so i'll agree there they're not really a cowboy's horse.

That's near death screen movement. You'll see that in gun fights and pretty much anytime your health core is almost empty. Might be a setting in the options you can disable that with.

That worked, i left all weapons on the horse (except revolvers of course) and made sure I only had one tomahawk.

Yep, i read somewhere Van Horn is the best place to do the "enemies" challenges. I walked into the saloon, shot the blackjack dealer, just for old times sake, then threw the hatchet at the enemies. I think it was having the rifles equipped that was screwing mine up.

Did this challenge get broken?
SpoilerKill 4 consecutive enemies by throwing and retrieving the same tomahawk
So i dumped all mine but 1 so having multiple won't screw up the challenge. I throw and kill someone with a headshot, pick up the tomahawk, headshot the next guy, get no credit. I'm not killing anything between to reset the count, it just doesn't accept any kills for this challenge.
What am i missing here?

I can confirm the southern most camp location. Just ran across it but it wasn't the one I needed, no lawman tied up to rescue.
Camp West of Southfield flats is also confirmed, but alas no lawman to rescue.

I preordered Red Dead Special Edition. I have redeemed both codes that came inside the game box, one for the war horse and one for the extra money and such. The treasure map is only available if you made your digital pre-order before August 15th, not available for hard copy.
Not sure what to tell ya on the horse. seems some of the special edition content is hit and miss. I never got the saddle, but then i didn't really care about it, so no big loss for me, but i have the horse and outfit and whatnot.

the cap yes, the amount not positive, it's been over a month since i was in chapter 2, i can barely remember what i had for breakfast last weekend.

there's a bounty cap in each chapter. chapter 2 if i recall was $250, doesn't take much to get that. I was flat broke i found the treasure hunts myself. Getting that solid red hat costs a lot
