you want all the satchels, each one expands space for it's specified items. Then you want to get the Legend of the East satchel which gives you max storage.
By default you can hold 5 items max. 5 venison, 5 game meat, etc.
Tonics satchel increases the amount of Tonics you can carry,
ingredients increases those items (cooking ingredients),
Kit satchel not sure what it has, i know the campfire is in it to make your camp.
Provisions are your cooked or canned foods
materials are your crafting materials, feathers, etc.
Valuables is your loot satchel, rings, belt buckles, and other stuff you loot off bodies.
And i just got the popup @Truth has beat me to this
Funny i was actually going to start working on the Legend Satchel myself tonight.

SpoilerVarmint rifle with a headshot for the perfect Iguana skins. They're on the 2 largest islands in Flat Iron Lake. You can get your seagulls and crabs there also.
Elk skins are anywhere up in the north, especially the snow areas. Lake Isabella and north of there is a good. You'll need a rifle for those, enhance arrow might work also. Study them and display info (RB or R1) and it will tell you what weapon(s) to use.

For the little things, just pay it off to avoid bounty hunters. For bigger bounties, I spend all my money and turn myself in. This gets rid of the bounty and doesn't cost you anything more than a couple minutes of cutscenes.
Disturbing the peace suprised me when i got that one. Trying to throw the tomahawk and horribly missed my target, but that disturbed someone i guess lol.

Before if possible. "I'm gonna rob you, give me your money, but wait let me put my mask on so you'll forget who i am." Doesn't work here, doesn't work in the game either
Unless i'm building bounty for fun to get lawmen to chase me so i can kill them and get some easy cash, i started to always wear the bandana. Shopkeepers will remind you to remove it, and stranger quest people also.

Hey Rockstar - hint: there’s enough to do in this game without all the distractions of constantly being wanted for SOMETHING.
you don't get accused for Murder when killing O'Driscolls. I've done it many times in Valentine. there's often a group of 2 or 3 just down the side street from the butcher, towards the auction grounds. I usually find them threatening a townsperson for money. Kill them dead and the guy or gal they were accosting thanks you.
Those are the only people (O'driscolls in genearl, not just those in that spot) that you don't get accused for murder.
What i've seen, is after i kill O'driscolls, anywhere, if i loot them that's when a witness will accuse me. So i'm guessing that's what's happening to you. Don't loot with witnesses around
If you wear a mask you won't get reported, it will be an unknown something or other, but you won't get a bounty if you get away quick enough and avoid the investigation.
Also, always kill the witness. Always. That saves you from being turned in for a crime. I've had to kill witness after witness after witness once. I killed a guard at the oil factory place with a tomahawk, chased that witness towards Valentine, got seen by a guy passing on horseback, chased him farther down the road toward Valentine, got caught killing him by 2 guys in a wagon, chased them over the hill toward Valentine and killed them to get caught by another lone horseman. Killed him, also on his way to Valentine. and luckily wasn't seen by another witness. Seems like the witnesses always run to the nearest settlement or town to turn you in.

There's times I just want to slap Dutch in the face. He's such a manipulative tool, it makes me want to torch his tent and stick that pipe in an uncomfortable place (like the back of a Volkswagen?)

Pretty much the way i feel. I wish we could kill Micah and Bill, but then that would ruin the story line of killing Bill with John in RDR. I was wonder what was so bad with Dutch when playing RDR, now i see lol I'm happy knowing that those 2 won't live long

Thanks! the way i read it you needed to do them all in a row and then ride to Strawberry. I knew had to be something simple i was missing.

The key to the first one is that you can only use Dead Eye on the first of the three. Every time you activate Dead Eye it reloads your gun so you fail.
The best place I found to do this was the stable in Valentine. If you walk through the big double barn doors there is always a cowboy with a pistol chatting. Take either the Lancaster or Litchfield repeater as they have the largest capacity. Walk in, point your gun at him and when he points back use dead eye to shoot the gun out of his hand.
Then immediately turn around, run back through the barn and up the hill as your wanted level will rise. Hide up the hill until the alert is done but DON'T put your gun away or reload.
Once the alert is over walk back to town, back through the double doors and find the same cowboy. Point your gun at him until he aims at you then WITHOUT using Dead Eye shoot the gun out of his hand. Then run away up the hill again.
Repeat one more time and you are done.
i knew there was an easier way. And that was my issue i think, i kept waiting till i had 3 or 4 lawmen chasing me and trying to go 3 at once with deadeye.

Got stuck on these 2 last night. Not sure if the challenges count as spoilers, so i'm hiding them anyway
SpoilerSharpshooter 8 - Shoot and unarm 3 enemies without reloading or switching guns. I'm not sure how to do this one. Every time i shot someone's pistol nothing would happen, they'd keep hold of it and continue to shoot at me. A tip i read online said shoot them in the arm and they'll drop it. That didn't work either, i shot a few in the arm and they died. Hadn't been shot before, so it wasn't the 2nd shot kill. Also the arm I shot was drawing their gun from holster, it wasn't in front of their body.
Using the Scholfield an Cattleman's revolvers as duel weld to do this. Maybe i need to use the volcanic pistol since it's a little more powerful? is that why i'm not disarming them shooting the revolver/pistol in their hand?
SpoilerBandit 3 - Rob 4 cash registers in the same day. Another one I can't figure out. I read online to start in the morning to have time to rob the 3 in Valentine then ride to Strawberry to get the 4th. But i can only get 1. I hit the gunsmith first, thinking i would go gunsmith, doc, general store, then ride to valentine and hit the store there. Nope. I hit the gunsmith, i get reported, all the others stores close down, i can't rob anything else.
Writing this i'm now thinking maybe i should start at midnight but then that won't work either, the other shops would be closed.
I wear the mask for this, what's the secret?

not sure how you get that one. I was at $500 last night then after i took that screen shot I died in Valentine and lost my horse, got pissed off and killed everyone in Valentine without my mask. It didn't raise any higher than $500

I wasted one last night, I hit level 8 in Deadeye after wiping out Valentine. then thought oh cool i can drink one of these and get closer to 9. Nope.

So after losing my horse, and killing everyone in Valentine in a fit of rage (actually made me feel a little bit better lol) i ran away to Rhodes and stole a couple carriages to sell to pay off my bounty in New Haven, ended up getting a $30 bounty there for vehicle theft. Yes i forgot to wear my mask. After selling the carriages i paid the bounty in Emerald Station and went back to Valentine and checked the stables again for my horse. Legendary i lost wasn't there, but i did have the first wild race horse i caught in the stables for sale at $0. That was a shock. I caught that horse rode it for like an hour IRL and then found the legendary i had been using for the last 8 days. For all i knew that horse was still hitched up at that old fallen down shack by Lake Isabella. i had totally forgotten about it. So at least i'm not stuck with the starter horse now.

Unfortunately I had forgotten to save for a while, and right after I died it did an auto save. I could go back to yesterday when I started after work but I don't want to do all that over. I'll see if I can play the horse lottery in saint Denis and get a good one

Now I'm pissed. I've had the legendary white horse from lake Isabella for a week now, real time. I'm trying the sharpshooter 8 challenge and I die in Valentine. Horse when I revive and whistle is my very first starting horse that I sold. WTF?!?!

Looks like the bounty Max out at $500, I've had this much for a while now trying to do sharpshooter 8 challenge. Even took the mask off to see if it would go higher and it won't. Capped at $500. Maybe it's the stage in the game in at? Farther in the story may give higher bounty?

i was thinking the tomahawk throw after that would be tough, but i got it on the 3rd try. After the "normal" tomahawk went maybe 20 ft if i was lucky, i made the enhanced and it took 2 tries with that.
I'm now stuck on the long distance shot.

Very VERY strange.I like @Truth's idea with the exploding arrow. Gonna go try it after work, maybe shoot right behind/beside him and blow him off the ledge? have to see what it looks like when i get there.

Do you just scan around with the binoculars? I haven't bothered bird watching yet, but I do want to see them all eventually. Is there a strategy to it?
while i was doing the challenge to shoot the birds from the moving train i would sit across the tracks from Emerald Station and wait for the train to come in. While doing so one time i was scanning with the binocs to the northwest, where you can see the train come between the 2 hills, and i just happened to have the street sign in my field of view and noticed the Study option in the corner. Found 2 song birds on the street sign. so now whenever i get near a sign or town or settlement i scan the area with the binocs to see if any birds i haven't found yet are there.
I was thinking they'd be along the power lines and on the power poles like you find every where IRL, but so far i haven't seen a bird there yet. Could just be my luck or they didn't want us shooting the powerlines down
I've tried killing some of the song birds with the small game arrow, but evidently i'm a horrible shot if i'm shooting at something smaller than a red or black squirrel. I have yet to hit a song bird, and even the crabs dodge my arrows very well. Only crab i've gotten so far (not counting the ones from the saloon girls) was one my horse stepped on when it swam across the water to me after i accidentally whistled for it.
