lmao Great videos! I completed a compilation video yesterday so I thought I'd post it here. Mainly crashes but a few glitches too. Mainly online play. Also a short one from a couple of weeks ago. Enjoy!
loved the crash in the first vid at 3 minutes, you and the other person go flying off, she cushions the landing lol

I have a similar problem with the Legendary Gar the one in the Swamp. I caught him and mailed it off but it never registered. So I tried going back and trying again over several days and all I catch are Lake Sturgeons. I've tried resetting my console. I've waited several days. I even fish there straight through for 2 whole game days nd no luck. It seems like all is lost and this is a total waste of time. Anybody have any ideas oter than starting all over from scratch?
Forum search is an awesome tool! check your progress in the compendium or in the fish list in your journal. if it's not checked off there you'll have to restore a save and do it again.

It's all just gossip yet, but the rumors on the web say most likely 2022 if they do release another, and follow the 3 - 5 year release between GTAO and RDR2. There's already been a hoax of an early release date in 2020. Rumor also has it there will be a co-lead male and female characters, with Eva Mendez and Ryan Gosling playing the parts.

Definitely believe that. One of my playthroughs he kept running into me while trekking to the third camp area. Almost had the same thing happen to me.
That's exactly what happened. I almost missed the turn, flipped the stick to turn sharp down the road and he t-boned me. I'll upload the clip tonight, forgot about this over the weekend.

Likewise, but I always say there's no need to thank me for service gladly given. Really, I prefer to thank civilians for providing something worth fighting for.
That's really to cool to hear.
I'm one that thanks you guys, i mean you get enough disrespect from people i figure you'd like to hear a thank you now and then. I do the same for police and firemen. I think it takes a special kinda person (in a good way) to do what you guys and the law enforcement and rescue services do.

Is it? Wow, didn't even notice that it was the same spot. Mustard be a cursed bridge for digital horses.
That sounds familiar. Something like that happened to me, just not sure if it was exactly that or not. Hopefully you'll catch some good goofs.
i had a clip where i killed Charles by accident while riding to find the 3rd camp. have to see if i can find it.

That made me legit laugh. Watching how my grandparents are together remind me of this. They are I am sure much older but still, he always teases her and calls her "old lady". She gets so mad too.
My dad tried that, he's been retired for 6 or 7 years now. He got lectured for days. So then i had to laugh at the 'hide and seek' comment from @buttlint that's what they're doing now. Dad works a lot in the shop and mom does stuff around the house. My son laughs at them for texting each other when they could open the door or window and yell. But then again, he texts me from his room when i'm downstairs, so he doesn't' have much room to talk.

Hi all,
I don't connect my console to the internet at the moment. I want to play this game. Can I install this game and play it without my console connected to the internet? Or is a online activation required?
Playing on PS4
To install yes, it's a like a 100GB download or close to that. To play, i've heard no, but every time i've started the game it had to be online for the account selection. I have mine online all the time anyway, it's my media center and video streaming when i'm not playing.

Lol Vid 6 is the same bridge that got me, must be cursed!

Nope. Each save game is a different game.
Although you could load up an earlier save and find all the clues and complete that strand before reloading the later strand. This mission has very little bearing on the story and there's no real treasure here to obtain. I don't recall there being any unique reward at all.
I just finished this "quest" last night. Nothing unique, just stuff to sell for some cash. it doesn't count to your explorer challenges either.

So I’m curious as to whether or not finding a animal or plant location in story mode transfers over onto online. I want to say it does but I’m not 100%. Anybody know?
I don't play online but if it's like GTA then no, they're 2 separate entities. Money, items, horses, etc. don't carry over, i don't see why map markers would.

Haha! 🤣
I'll have that some day. Damn 17 minute run kept thwarting me last play through.

Hey all,
Thought it would be fun to see clips ya'll have caught of funny or entertaining moments in the game.
Here's 2 of mine - How to painfully dismount your horse
The Bridge Method
I was doing the challenge to trample 5 animals and saw the rabbit.....
The Rock Wall Method
No explanation needed lol.

It's a bit of a ride, but there's an owl that reliably spawns on a rock to the south of Fairwale Shanty (North of the O in "Amberino").
It spawns there in good weather between 8 and 9 pm.
It's a Coastal Horned Owl, so it makes sense to study it before you kill it.
I've also seen one at night on top of Fort Brennand.
I'll check that one tonight

The newer controllers for Xbox seem to have the same issue. I always buy the other branded ones myself for this reason. I find the PDP brand to make better sticks for both console controllers.
Never had an analog stick issue with my xbox controllers, OEM and third party. it's always the bumper buttons that fail first.

Just don't sell your golden bars. But I don't understand why? Arthur needs money much more than John. You can complete the main story for John and you'll have a big part of the Blackwater money
starting out John is flat broke, you need money at the start of epilogue 2, hence this post.

apperently it's totally random, 2 nights in a row no Owl in the old battlefield near braithwaite, no owl flying along the coast between St. Denis and Van Horn, Didn't get a chance to check the shipwreck. Once again the 🤬 owl is eluding me. Did get me 3 perfect Panther pelts though, so my hunting trip last night into Leymone wasn't a total waste

I used to feel the same way then I watched Vertigo, and The man who knew to much, and North by Northwest, and I was 100% hooked on that era, none of those are westersn though, But Shane, was great, and Sgt York although a ww1 picture was still very much that country, western feel to it, anyway after those, I kind of just found JAmes Garner as MAverick or the Sheriff series he did, two movies, both really funny, and then I just started watching more.
I love them now, cant get enough.
Tales of Wells Fargo and Death Valley days are two of my favorites, Death Valley Days are true stories put to a 30 minute show so you get some history and entertainment.
I too grew up in the 70's and watch Clint Eastwood, he is definitely a favorite, it took a lot longer to appreicate John Wayne.
Watch The man who shot Liberty Valance, it is awesome!
Lee Marvin another great actor, John Wayne, and Jimmy Stewart, very good film.
John Wayne started believe it or not in the 30's, he was in a ton of movies, way too many to name or even count.
My grandpa was a John Wayne fan, had lots of fun going to stay with them for a weekend or whatever and watching John Wayne films. He'd watch "the others" at times, but neither one of us liked them as much as John Wayne. I didn't start watching Clint Eastwood until i was in middle school. I had to do a report on a book or film and Fistful of Dollars was in the list of movies i could do the report on. Dad recommended it so we watched it, been a fan ever since, in fact that made me look for other movies of his and watch them - First one was FireFox (another one my older brother and Dad wanted to watch, we all went to the theater to see it), then that led me to Any Which Way You Can, i recognized Clint on the VHS cover at the local rental place. Those are still 2 of my favorites

am good friends with a married couple that met online playing City of Heroes. They lived several states apart when they met through the guild online and are now married with 3 kids. I thought he was crazy just for going out to meet her, much less marrying her. But they are very happy and a good couple. So, I know, it can happen. But I have also seen these relationships go the other way, badly. So yeah, online life isn't all that different from real life.
I was a CIty of Heroes (and Villians) addict, and a WoW addict. I have friends that played Wow that are now married and met online through the guild we were in. I actually introduced them as i worked with the guy and then met her online, I got invited by a guild member to join a raid he was in with another guild, this girl was in that guild and was fun in the team chat they had. So we started messaging in game and talking, and I found out she was only a few hours away. I was going to meet her for lunch one day but work intervened and i asked my friend to go in my place. He'd talked to her in the teamspeak i think it was called, we had for our guild at the time, so he said sure! They really hit it off and now are married, no kids, still play WoW lol Now they say he set up the work problem that i had to stay for just so he could meet her.
I also have personal experience with the "badly" ones... Stories for another day

As the title mentions. What are the game choices that you always pick while replaying the game?
Knowing there isn't many that come around in the story. Yet, theres a few.
For me the level where you save the lady from the cave. Always choose dynamite and just use fire bottles instead. That's if Charles doesn't go off into the blaze of fire at the entrance of the cave like a madman.
So, what is one of the options you'll choose every time after finding out how the other option plays out? Plus what are some tactics you've happen to stumble upon and find to be a better experience instead of the two options given?
Only on my 2nd play through, can already tell I won't be playing it again for another play through. So i'm picking the options that i didn't pick the first time through.

the golden era, 1940 through 1965 the actors like Jimmy Stewart, Audie Murphy, Gregory Peck, and the list goes on and on and on.
Never could get into those like i did with John Wayne and such. Then on the flip side, i don't like hardly any of his army movies, Bridge on the River Kwai is one of my all time favorites.

Wow. Division 2 seems like it’s half modding/configuration and half shooting stuff. That makes Red Dead look positively simple.
Can I just play Division 2 with a Litchfield repeater with express rounds please?
I go the sniper route, i like to hang back and headshot then run in with a shotgun and finish off anyone left. My second load out is an LMG and assault rifle when i want to just spray and pray

it was fixed if i recall correctly, even so if you're on xbox the glitch didn't work, you only could get 2 extra bars.
