    "Then give up Dutch!"

"But I can't give up neither. I can't fight my own nature. That's the paradox, John, you see?"

"Then I have to shoot you."

"When I'm gone, they'll just find another monster. They have to. Because they have to justify their wages."

    "That's their business Dutch."

    "Our time has passed, John."

END SCENE! I am excited to see old Dutchy boy back in action. His character was one of my favorites from RDR!

  2. What would your thoughts be on them introducing food and drinks into the game? Like not just getting drunk if you choose but actually needing to drink water and eat food or you slowly lose health over time.

Would you like this or hate it?

As long as you don't swallow them!

    Speaking of swallowing...

I swallow my gum. lol I actually had to stop chewing it. Out of habit, when the flavor would go, I would just swallow it down. I read somewhere and heard multiple times that it is not good for your stomach. Whoops!

  4. It seems like technology for games is moving a lot faster these days so they have to actually take time and consider a game lasting for more than a few months of play. The more options of there the more you have to fight for your place in someone's console. I would not have thought it would be this long back then but I am kind of glad it has been. Just means RDR2 will be EPIC!

  5. I bite my nails off. I have done this since I was like 10 or so. I think it was a nervous habit I developed that ended up just being a habit. I seem to do it several times a day without even noticing.

  6. Not sure where everyone is from but I recently heard Germany passed some laws that will fine and could land you in prison for "hate speech" online geared at Islam or Muslims. Canada followed and passed something similar and now Europe is also considering it. I guess even if you are not being hateful but using stats about rape or murder, you can pay a pretty fee. A lot of this is being targeted on Twitter and Facebook. Thoughts?

    Dogmeat kinda thing I guess?

Could work although I'd really want it to also be in single-player. Would be sweet having your pooch run alongside your horse and then also having him/her help catch snakes, "sniff" out an area for enemies, etc.

Yes, there is just something about having a "pet" that always appealed to me in video games. I think this would be great for smaller side missions too. Like maybe using the dog to hunt down treasures and what not. If they have it online it must be a thing in the campaign.

I can agree with this. You would think it would be more appealing to kids though but it isn't like the 80's or 90's where kids were into Cowboys and Indians. It is mainly down to enjoying cops and robbers and GTA is that and them some. Only, you are the "robber".

I don't even think it is just that. It is more realistic. People used to like video games as an escape from reality but more and more, people (including kids) want to be in a separate reality. Something that can be real and feel real but isn't.

  9. Someone I was talking to the other day brought this topic up and we had a light debate on it. It seems like a lot of people are under the assumption that the community will be just as bad as GTA V's was. I don't see it. This game has never been something to appeal to kids which is a good thing. Heck, even GTA should never have appealed to kids but it did.

So the community will be for the most part made of adults and that is a good thing in my book.

Computer accessory company Logitech announced today that it’s acquiring Astro Gaming, a popular console gaming headset maker, for $85 million in cash. Astro will join the Logitech G division, Logitech’s PC gaming-focused sub-brand, as part of a broader effort by the accessory maker to gain a better foothold in the console market. The deal is expected to close by the end of August.

Needless to say... That is A LOT of money. Logitech is going to be the leader in terms of headsets soon enough. Not sure if they already are but it would not surprise me. Always felt they made nice stuff and now they will have Astro as well.

This. This is why. Only reason I can see it being an option is if they cared enough to put that much time and effort into the mechanics which I highly doubt they did or will.

It isn't like cars that take damage and what not. If the thing flips, the horse are on their sides too. And since no gas is involved, they can't just blow the thing up. So yeah it is very doubtful.

  12. Yeah they did Gh0st. I can't remember what it is called, just check the site. I don't play it but I did try it out with a friend back in 2014 and I just couldn't get into it. I never liked WoW either. These games are not for me.

I can understand not wanting to use it and surely if it is an option, you would only require it for certain missions I am sure so it wouldn't be required.

I honestly can't see them doing that. Riding one single horse is obviously better for getting around wild areas but in-town, a waggon can be cool.

I get what you are going for by having it an option but think of all the glitch testing they would have to do if you choose to use it off of a trail. Those things tip over so easy. That is why when it happened, you lost the mission in the first one. There is no way they will allow the use of them outside of fast travel, picking up hookers, and missions.

I honestly don't know anyone who would not find this fun. You can do so much with things like this and make it like a game within a game. My one friend used to get some of his online friends to join a server with him and they would make up games themselves just for fun. Like they would be on a timed limit to find  a certain car for example. Little things like this (treasure hunting) can keep the online end of the game worth playing for a long period of time.

They could even make money on this as well. Maybe unloading some special DLC only drops in the treasures that you can find. I guess they would have to work that in a lot better than what I said but still. And absolutely! They don't need to go overboard to make an online game stay active. Usually the simplest things get the most enjoyment.

I like it. Maybe not making it a group thing though cause not everyone plays online with more than one or two people. Heck, some people play alone so that wouldn't be fair to them but there is strength in numbers though if you have a set loot, then it has to be split anyways...

Or someone can turn on everyone and take it. HA!

I can just picture the fights braking out! I would love that too. Like having a group of friends playing together and someone turning on everyone. That would make for some really entertaining videos on Youtube. I can see it already! LOL

This can be a lot of fun! I am not sure how putting a limit on it would work though. Like only having it run once every 24 hours... It would give some people an unfair advantage.

Yeah this is true. It was just a spur of the moment suggestion.

  16. A friend of mine wants to start gaming and doing live streams. He is going to have the whole summer off before he starts a new job in September so he would like to see if he can make a small earning through Twitch. I told him Youtube may help him make more money but then again, I am not sure how Twitch even works when it comes to earning. So yea, anyone know how that works?

If the right people on Youtube start playing it, they will make a killing. Not sure who I can see playing this though.

That is what I was thinking. The game is not my cup of tea to be honest. I never cared for these kinds of games.

  18. I am not sure what their game plan is and when I read this I was honestly a bit confused. Not what you said, but what they said and what was said about this. I feel like they aren't going to change THAT much from GTA V. I think maybe making it better tuned for the old west and fixing a few issues, RDR2 will be solid.
