Yeah... So since the update last week, I have yet to see any ga g hideouts spawn, and I'm no longer being ambushed on the road by those dastardly O'Driscoll's. So I'm wondering is it just me, or is everyone havi g the same issue?
Was gonna use the map that a fellow user of this site posted to get some done, but alas, no luck in getting any to spawn. Frustrating..

I think back to all the missions, races, etc we had with GTAO at launch... not to mention a great SP to MP glitch, RDRO has nothing exciting to do.
Id rather track down orchids for Algernon Wasp than grind the missions online, for gods sake you can't even save your game! You could lose an hour worth of pelts when the servers kick you.
Im not gonna say RDRO sucks, its just nowhere near finished and shouldn't have been released.
Now if I could SPMP glitch Buel into online, that might be fun.....
See there's the thing... It hasn't been released.. It's only in Beta. You can't compare it to GTAO, which has quite a few years under its belt, because it's only been a week since BETA release. It will evolve in time, and no doubt will be the game that it should be.
I like hunting, OP... Spent a lot of time in SP doing it, so it's keeping me amused right now, but I can see it getting stale real fast. Playing with friends, doing races, side missions, etc.. Should keep you busy for a wee while, but the single player is awesome, and has so much to do, if you find yourself getting bored.

I'd rather just take my time, have fun, and appreciate the stuff I unlock. More power to people that use exploits, but I'm wondering what their endgame is.. Is it just for bragging rights?

If it were either of those titles, I wouldn't play. Sure, dabbling in a little PvP is nice and all, but I like to hunt, fish, drink, fight, and I'm sure at some point they'll add mini games as well,and I'll play those.

It was because of Red Dead Redemption that I first started watching Hickock's videos. I like his stuff because you get a little history lesson as well as watching him smoke pot

I have my suspicions that it might be the Carbine, because of fire rate. I also think, if you're accurate enough, that the Varmint rifle is a very viable choice. Large mag, and rate of fire is awesome. Just hit the head, and it's the best.

If in doubt, hit the head, Bud. Also waiting a couple of seconds to pull the trigger can help stabalise the weapon. The guns of the period aren't exactly what you'd call the most accurate, so take your time, and, once again, aim for the head.

I had to delete the horse for it to sort itself, so I am out 5 Gold.

Got a reply from the support ticket.. It actually says nothing of interest.
recently got enough gold that I purchased horse insurance for my free horse theat came with the ultimate edition, and any time that I die, my horse dies too. Now when I try and call the horse, it isn't available, and just gives me the scrawny old nag. I've tried swit hing sessions, and the horse doesn't return until I visit a stable. It was returning without insurance, and that's the only difference. If this is a bug, then OK, but I would like either my gold back, or my horse to turn up as intended... There's a buckle for clearing a certain amount, getting 1,000 maps, and also doing four in a day, though. That alone makes me think that they should spawn quite frequently. Maybe I'm just being especially unlucky, though..
