Only lousy xp on horse racing if you cant win a race or get podium.

you must not do too well.

i regularly get 250 xp (just now got 295) for a a lousy 2 and a half minutes.

I'm level 108. XP means very little to me now. I only care about the cash payouts and on spoils of war, even the losing side gets $9 to $10 a match, even more if it goes to sudden death. That's far more lucrative.

  2. 1) Level 108

    2) Been playing since the first week of launch.

    3) I mostly hunt and clear enemy hideouts. I will grind in pvp from time to time, but I keep that limited because pvp causes me to cuss like a sailor. Luckily nobody can hear me since I play in party chat. Just hope my neighbors don't hear me.😊 since the daily challenges started showing up, I've tried to do as many of those as I can each day. I also make sure that when I achieve a gold buckle on an award, I make sure to reset it if possible.

    4) now that I'm past level 100, I've unlocked everything. Now it's all about grinding for money to buy everything I've unlocked. I currently have 8 tier 3 ability cards, all of the tent upgrades and fast travel for my camp. I only have a few more pamphlets to buy. My current weapon cache is 2 schofields, 2 sawed offs,  a cattleman and a highroller revolver for my sidearms. For longarms, I have a carbine and Lancaster for repeaters, bolt action and Springfield for rifles, Rolling Block and Carcano for sniper rifles and a pump action shotgun and of course my bow. I have small games arrows, poison arrows, fire arrows, dynamite arrows, poison throwing knives, fire bottles, volatile dynamite, explosive slugs and explosive express ammo.

Yep, some challenges bug out making you have to get more than required

Not necessarily. You just have to pick real slow, waiting a few seconds between picking each herb.

In case you missed the posts above, the challenge was on the 19th.

I mentioned in another thread I got a pop up for a free roam fishing challenge last night. I didn't accept it though because I didn't want to lose the cougar I had on my horse at the time.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I didn't receive my fishing care package until last night either.

    Hi,

What are the best weapons for dual wield?

I own a Volcanic pistol and schofield revolver. Is a repeating shotgun also possible in your holster?

I have dual Schofields for mid range combat and dual sawed offs for cqc. I can't give you an opinion on pistols. I do not currently have any in my possession.

Repeating shotgun is a longarm weapon. It won't go in a holster.

I just hit level 17, I had one very early on like level 7 or 8, and another one around level 13 I think.

Ive had 2 in 17 levels.

You start getting them at level 10 I believe, every 5 levels. So, you would have gotten one at levels 10 and 15.

I reset all that can be reset instantly. You still keep the buckle.

It greatly increases Your XP gain and gives some gold.

There are some of them You can make in one hunting run - like killing fish with dynamite. It can be done in a minute, then reset, buy dynamite while selling meat and pelts, repeat.

Combined with other achievements is a huge boost to XP gain in free roam untill You max em out to lvl 10 i think.

That's the one I'm currently working on. Everytime I pass by a body of water and see a lot of bubbles, I'll start flinging the dynamite. I've reset that challenge 7 times so far. I've maxed out many of the awards already, like harvesting animal parts and selling them to the butcher as well as selling herbs to the doctor.

I think it tells you in the level progression menu what each level includes, no?  I thought maps were mentioned in there too.  Maybe it's every 10 levels after a certain point?  I don't actually recall to be honest.   .....I'm about lvl 65.

Oké. May be your right. After regaining lvl 50 every 10 lvls? Did you receive one at lvl 60?

I'm level 100 and have gotten one every 5 levels.

nice... except I've already purchased all of these items and they will now be forever stuck in my collection box along with the special spinner

The lures(lake, river, swamp) you can have more than one of which is nice if you lose one, you have another ready to go. I agree that it's  really annoying having the gifted special spinner stuck in your box if you had already purchased one prior to the gifted one.

I have two guns, but never used them simultaneously. Where can I find the option to set one to off hand and and one to your holster ? I just see one revolver at the time for selection. Thx for your help👍

"11 o'clock" and "1 o'clock " on the weapon when is where you set the sidearms. You can also do it while in a gun store by selecting the customize option, selecting the gun you want and selecting where it is carried.

Does the (offhand) deadbolt holster automaticly store two pistols/revolvers/off shotguns? You can't notice that in the gunstore guide or you need two of them?

You need a minimum of 2 guns to dual wield. You set one to your regular holster and one to your off hand. You can mix and match with pistols, revolvers and sawed off shotguns. When you have your 2 guns set select the "12 o'clock" position on the weapon wheel to dual wield.

I like when my enemys flop, it gives me the extra time to reload my Bolt action rifle and headshot them when they get up. To me it costs more than you get away with. Never use it myself

I don't know how they do it, but I've seen many players be able to dive then somehow be able to get in a headshot before fully recovering from the dive. It's extremely aggravating.

I don't knów what's your experience, but mine is that's it's almost impossible to be succesfull on a mission of your own without been shot by a "fellow player".  I play RDR2 online since the beginning, but I'ts getting worse by the week.

Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you want to look at it, those missions are designed to be interfered with by other players. You get xp for stopping others from completing the missions. Personally I usually don't take part in that. I let them do their thing while I do mine.
