Patience. If you know you're up against a flopper, aim, wait for them to flop and then fire away.

The only thing I can think of is offhand holsters like the deadbolt holster allow you to dual wield pistols, revolvers or sawed off shotguns. Other than that, it's all cosmetic.

I still have the horse I stole for Clay Davis, its a nice looking horse with very low stats.
Im wondering if I moved too quickly in that mission and maybe there was a better horse, but I was thinking hurry up and get out of here.Story mode I had the rose grey Arabian, the White Arabian, The Trotter, the grey and white one and a Turkomon for the swamps and big fights.
I really miss my horses online, I am at like level 4 or some silly thing like that, when will I be able to upgrade my horse.
Here's a handy little guide that shows what you unlock at each level. MFT unlocks at level 58. Don't remember the price of the top of my head.

In single player I had a Trotter, two Arabians, and a Turk, I would love to get a better horse than this one I currently have, but buying one is not even a possibility for a long long time.Sorry, breaking horses to own is not available online. If you want a white Arabian it has to be purchased.

Anyway it never connected or found other players so I wasn't able to do the mission, so I just went back to fishing.
Hopefully that isn't a constant problem where there aren't enough people on the server or not any that are looking to do those missions as they are early missions that people probably did right away when they started playing.
Those are the online story missions which I believe are quite buggy right now. They randomly pair you up with up to 3 other players and I believe there are currently 8 of them overall. Some you need high honor to do and some require low honor.
Glad you had a change of heart. You'll be leveled up with top notch gear in no time.😀

I wouldn't worry about it. The bounties are pathetically low and when you go to pay it off, it's half the amount originally listed,making it even lower.

Had some jackass who thought he'd get cute with me and tackle me and engage in a fist fight. After a minute or two of me whooping his ass. He realized he couldn't beat me with his fists so he pulled out his combat knife. That's when I when I drew my revolver and pistol whipped to death with it. He left me alone after that. LOL!

Ok, so I completed all 7 challenges again last night and this time I noticed that when I completed the last one, I got 40 gold nuggets instead of 10 so if you add up all the gold nuggets earned from all the challenges, it equals 1 gold bar.

Same here. I had the Red Chestnut Arabian but recently sold it and upgraded to the Black Arabian. I Also have a MFT. To get the gold belt buckle award, I also plan at some point to get Turkoman, a draft/war horse of some kind and one other random breed.

The varmint rifle can be quite deadly if you can master the headshot even after its nerfed. You can always practices on NPCs
I recommend getting the bolt action rifle as soon as you can afford it. It's not that expensive and it's a solid weapon for both hunting and self defense.

Sometimes I'll use griefers to my advantage. Last night I had a blue dot catch me off guard when he lassoed and hogtied me. I used that as an excuse to go after him with my dual wielded sawed offs to complete that daily challenge. This was not any easy thing to do since you need to be close range to do damage. He picked me off a few times with a repeater as I charged him, But I was persistent and did get him twice. The coward then decided he had enough and parlayed me. I was able to finish off the rest of the challenge in a Dispatch Rider free roam event.

You need someone to posse up with and show you the ropes. I can't stress how important this is is for new players. Me, I'm level 92 and have been playing RDO since the week it was released, so I'm strong enough to hold my own playing solo. What system do you play on? PS4 or Xbox? I'm on PS4. I mainly hunt and fish myself, usually only doing pvp when the situation calls for it such as daily challenges or when I need a quick buck or some xp. All of my current posse members have abandoned the game for now due to lack of content, so I am open to finding some addition members. Playing solo can get boring after awhile, but I just can't put the game down

Anyone know what the bonus is supposed to be for completing all 7 of the daily challenges? I accomplished this for the first time today, but I finished the last one in a showdown series and didn't have time to check it as it completed. I went back in after but didn't really notice a difference in my gold, cash or xp?

One of the options for quick join when you tap left on the dpad is to join another player's story mission. It's a one and done. When the mission is over you automatically exit back out into free roam.

I've had very little problem with players randomly attacking me since the latest update. One did kill me the other night so I initiated a feud with him. He messaged me afterward apologizing telling me he did so because he wanted me to initiate a feud since one of the daily challenges was to win one feud. It was something I was hoping for too. Unfortunately for me he won and I never completed the challenge. Other than that I ride by blue dots all the time without incident. Sometimes even red dots.
