The game has 3 types of players in it. Sheep, Wolves and Sheep Dogs. You need all 3 to make the game enjoyable IMO. Not everyone wants to be a sheep. Some like to be Wolves , but there are always Sheep Dogs around to check them. I think everything balances out well. You remove all the wolves from the game and the Sheep Dogs may start to turn because they are bored without the wolves to hunt.

It's the truth and the whole truth !

Well, heres how I see it.

Even if your friend is the most popular Red Dead Streamer.  Its still shot in the dark trying to land in a lobby with him in it.  I doubt they are constantly joining lobby after lobby trying to land in your lobby.

Someone is helping them either by mistake or on purpose.  Either by inviting them to come to the game OR by having one of them on their friends list.

If what you're saying is true and they're constantly finding you so easily every time you guys stream.  Id go with someone is inviting them to the game.

Or someone is friends with one of them. (Maybe not even noticing) and they are just joining any time they want.

100% here ! I had to check everyone in our community to see what community's they were in and peak at friends list. I think @HuDawg may be right on the trail. Check for spies bud. I do not condone going after them if they truly have those kind of numbers with them as your day will end in frustration. Don't think there is an answer here exept keep yourself loaded with dynamite and take as many of them with you as you can. Not sure even the bravest cowboys could handle those numbers. Hope you find peace bro !

....funny.  I remember people saying the same thing about GTAO in the early days.  Some still did throughout it's life and yet here we are with one of the most successful GaaS models to date in the gaming industry.

I rarely buy into these kinds of prophecies from hubbub via the internet/YT.  The fact is that some folks will move on from RDO while others will stay.  Some folks may come back and new players will join.  .....and yeah, there is that chance the game will be a failure although that could be arguable as well as many define that differently.

However, if I had to put my money on the experience and track record of a company like R* (with one of the most successful GaaS models in the gaming industry) or internet naysayers to predict RDOs longevity, I'll go with the former.

That's not to say that RDO will continue to grow in a direction I personally like but then again, my personal issues (or that of a group) with a game doesn't mean I believe it will fail.  I've already shelved this game once and I may likely do it again in the future.  ......but like GTAO, I have a feeling I'll keep returning and may even stay a while at times.

Yea bud I am truly in awww of rdr2I and can only keep hope alive that the big update is close. Such a beautiful game and honestly think it will have a long life ! The short lived part was aimed at my high hopes. I'm down to medium hopes now. Lol still playing it though bud.

I can't help but think the current state of RD O player base and unhappy players will push R* to rethink its mindset when it comes to RD O.  And this will end up being a good thing in the long run.  And hopefully gets rid of the people in charge of RD O for being completely clueless and bad at their job.

Because if RD O was successful, nothing would change.    Just more of this, for years.

Im literally the only person left out of tons of friends who own this game that still plays RD Online.. And when I say plays it, I mean 1 hour a week.  Compared to end of 2018 and early 2019 when EVERYONE I knew was playing and I was playing this for many hours a week, (Its kind of sad 😪)

I've gone back to single player.  Because I can play FREE AIM in peace, no ability cards..  no bullsh*t.. with a world that actually seems alive and is built around fun.

The end of the BETA is going to be R*s second and probably last chance to really bring players back and keep their attention... And give players what they need instead of what Take Two wants.

100% bro ! It's dam sad the way Robstar is leaving us hanging ! Had really high hopes for rdr2 o. But like most things in life it'll be short lived. Can't express my dissapointment enough. So sad really.

It takes a few days, yeah. I remember by the third day I was out of the overweight status and just average. Takes about a week to be completely max underweight. Once there you can easily maintain staying within 3-7.5% underweight. Trying to have perfect weight is hard to do as the window for it is pretty small.

But yeah just keep your health core red, don't eat anything. And you'll go down. Worked for me and I haven't gone over 5% underweight since.

This does work ! Just a tip but going in to the new PvP mode should take a couple pounds off ! Lol run ,run , and run some more ! Didn't think much of the new mode as all you'll do is run !

Ive read of few of these comments now, I see it  both ways I am grinding the old fashioned way, all alone, and no exploits, and yeah it stinks a little to think of players being able to gain access to things I have worked so had for, but then I remember that many players over level 90 got their with exploits, and shenanigans.

Not all but definitely many, and so whats the difference? If I have to grind out all alone, one level at a time with no exploits, and I am playing against players who were able to level up much much faster do to techniques no longer available, then isnt that the same thing?

Either way, Im glad to see something happen today, we do need a player base fella's and if this will bring some people back or new people in then I say do it!!

Its only a week, its not forever.

Yep most of my group got there in free roam ! Months of grinding ! I have a group now that loves PvP and we go in a lot now. Just a low blow to see folk get it .unless they have throttled xp again the West just got a little ruffer ! Lol

Exactly. I busted my ass to get high enough to get a top horse and those pamphlets. Feels like a straight shot to the balls. Guess this is their way of trying to bring players back for a week before we enter a content drought.

    100% bro !!

They still have to get all the animal fat...so there is that.

That's fur sure ! Hey fellers I feel all your pain and then some as a lot of us have grinded since the online released. Hitting 90 was a major undertaking.  Its a huge kick in the marbles to see folk get that stuff at 60. Saddle up folks ! Mayhem is at hand ! Now get out there and give these russtlers hell ! Lol
