I hear you.
Seems to me I have more luck in groups of 4 or less. I've been in a couple groups of 7 and it tends to be chaos. Folks screwing around and yeah, sometimes one of them griefing another player and getting the rest involved.
Paging Dr. @BropolloCreed79 we need the Rocky balboa chasing a chicken gif ! Lmao

Im nearly losing my mind over a game.bad times haha.im definately sick of getting into hour long battles over silly moves.this wkend has taught me alot.when someones says dont shoot them.dont bloody shoot them unless they shoot at you then its on.otherwise someone has caused a battle and waisting my time in real life sitting there going over and over same thing.i back anyone up but im getting sick of it when people dont listen.i aint got time for all that no more.simple as.people can play how they want but if people wanna just wonder then go wonder in another posse that plays that way.i sit around for hours letting time tick down on missions so others can go roam and hunt.spend ages getting everyone in together.and loading up missions.spend more time than enjoying the game.spend ages helping others xp up as i got what i want out the game.trying to keep friendly vibe with strangers and on chat to make a friendly fun posse to enjoy this wonderul my favourite game.i cant have it where people are stressing me.gonna make a small military minded unit and keep it at that.cant please everyone.hate cutting people but im only in the game to enjoy it.simples.
I'm with you bud. Hope I have a place in your unit as I have never had this much fun in a game. Honestly am about to go incognito for awhile. I'll miss all my posse members as we have spent a lot of time together lately and look on y'all as family already. I won't let a couple bad apples spoil my fun but dang it's frustrating ! Lol

May be a stupid question, but is there a problem having different consoles in One Posse-Group?
Because the first question is mostly "what's your system ?".
Currently you cannot cross platforms. Coming soon we hope

Yea bud it's starting to become more of a chore than being fun ! It's like trying to Hurd chickens ,there all over the place. Makes it frustrating to be in a 7 Man posse and find out your trying to fend off 3 would be greivers by yourself. No one cares ! Lol. Just a tip for people just starting to posse up , stay with your fricken posse leader !! You wanna roam leave posse and go roam ! Don't let your posse leader believe he has guns to back him and your simply not there. Makes it much less fun.

Virgil Caine. It’s from a song by The Band called “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down”. It kind of peeved me off that we can’t use the names we gave our avatars in game, what was the point of giving us the option if we can’t use it??
Nothing kills the illusion like getting a random posse invite from “GDaaawgKrOnIC420”
*sigh
I'm with ya !

Question, why the Litchfield over the lancaster? I see that the Litchfield has more damage but it seems that the lancaster is better every other way. And it's a bit faster locking on target. Really want to know because I have been on the fence about getting one.
Range and holds more rounds. High velocity seems to carry distance even after lock on is too far. Have to free aim past lock on distance but very little falloff

Yeah that is what I am thinking. But a lancaster repeater? I put it down as one of those things. You know sh*t happens lol.
Yea not big on Lancaster either. Usually run bolt action with express for Npcs and my trusty Litchfield with. High vilosity for pvp. And of course explosive for special encounters. Lol

This will always create problems. My solution was to grind until I hit rank 90 and got my hands on explosive rounds. Ranking up ability cards is important as well. Don't rely on RS solving this issue. The best way, is for you to find your own solution.
This is exactly right ! Posse up , get better ,get that ammo , the bullys can't hold the playground forever ! We usually ride 6 or 7 deep with several of us having explosives. Last night near Rhodes we lost a stranger mission to a posse of 7. We let our guard down just long enough to clean guns and Pow !! Right in the kisser ! We look and these cats ranged from 182 to 145 ! Yea it was like that ! Almost had to call @RED_DEADMAN lol they all jumped server after a nasty firefight but handed us our a#%$ first. Lol

How low in rank are they? Slippery Bastard can be bought at rank 50.
As an aside. I was killed by one shot yesterday from a griefer using a Lancaster Repeater. Which left me asking questions. Because my loadout was tier 3, Never Without One, ability card and I also had tier 3, Slow and Steady. I was also was wearing a hat at the time. The greifer was a rank 174 and I was at the time rank 106. But that wouldn't make a difference?
Sounds like explosive ammo bro ! That stuff is nasty !

We'll have to see how it works when the update is released or maybe it will be revealed in the details next week. I'm guessing it will be an option left to the victim and not the aggressor. Makes no sense otherwise IMO. If not, I'll certainly be submitting feedback to have that option changed as I'm sure many others concerned about griefing will as well.
Of course, that won't stop trolls from simply leaving the session but if they do, then I consider that mission accomplished. ....although it would be nice if the option to rejoin a new session during a feud is suspended so they only have the choice to face retaliation or close the game. I can't see too many griefers wanting to restart the game every time vs. just switching sessions.
Love it bro !

I have friends I normally play games with but they don't seem to want to be on RDO as much as me.
I'm friendly, albeit shy at first. I do have a headset. I prefer hunting and herb picking, races and story missions. Easy going. Level 23 soon to be 24. I have a Persistent Posse set up.
Add me with a message regarding RDR2.org (with forum name). Lets get that XP!
PSN: MOOSH89
Saskatchewan based (-06:00 CST) available most weekdays 11AM-6PM, Friday-Saturday 4PM-8PM, Sundays... spotty lol
Hello moosh89 , check the western avengers thread here in posse recruiting. If we are right for you post in that thread and 1 of us will contact you. You seem extremely laid back and we do love that. On very rare occasions we become hell raisers and seek out grieves just to show them they don't run the West ! Lol

Maybe its just me but.
That sounds like controlled roam and not free roam.
IMO this game needs less band aids and more lobby options.
Yep also I hope that if you get grieved and choose to feud with the grieve they shouldn't have the option to just ride away. They should have to face you and fight it out for a set time. Other wise no grieves will ever exept the feud and simply run off ! Make them face the music !

I'm a cowboy ,on a steel horse I ride !! Ok so how many of you cow rustlers still want to be a villain? Your day in the sun is coming to a close my evil friends. The law will be swift and justice served ! Ever hear of judge Roy Bean ? Honestly how many of you will test the new bounty system ? There can be no good without bad ! Someone has to be bad or there will be 50,000 law men and no one to hunt ! Lol lmk

The name’s Jay Cassidy, because I run with Butch Cassidy and Sundance out on the Outlaw Trail, our kingdom on Earth. I fell in with a mean bunch, because you know what they say about birds of the same feather, they become brothers. Of course, neither first nor last name are even my accurate names to date. Only paying homage to the man that taught a pirate how to be a goddamn cowboy.
See, I come from the fringes of the Pacific. My people are nomadic sea robbers and headhunters called the Iranun of the Pacific seas and piracy is our culture. Our skin is covered in sacred tattoos of deep Pacific heritage. I am the son of a great pirate chief, we navigate the ocean without your modern instruments, using the stars, reading the waves, becoming the wind. We sail treacherous seas with ease like a knife through southeast Asian waters, in our wooden proa pirate ships for ages long before written history. One with the ocean and one with the outlaw state of mind. We specialize in slave raiding and short range murder. We wear the color red to denote royal hierarchy of a warrior society on our islands. A few of us have landed in North America to escape the politics of a losing war that has spilled blood on our shores. The Philippine-American war of 1899. Nothing the Iranun are not used to, war is our way. And we respect those that are highly skilled in war. A defeated pirate tribe, the Moro, as ruthless as they come, made the enemy their chief, that man was General John J. Pershing. Black Jack.
So my purpose on this land is to learn the ways of the white man and revel in his violent technology that brings joy to my little black heart, the evolving shotgun. A feeling of falling in love. And to make money, the pirate way. Freedom is what brings me here to this faraway land. A tumbleweed along the Pirate Wind.
Now, I am a true American Rebel, Iranun Pirate Prince.
Big western skies and slow creeping clouds replaced the vastness of the Pacific seas from when we used to just call it Moana. My black female Arabian horse was named after my people, Illana, she replaced my beloved outrigger pirate canoe. The loud shotgun replaced my machete bolo and the kali Silat art of the silent short dagger. And now I murder for a price, long been just for fun and pillaging, or just plum outta necessity. For instance if a witness or a former associate of ours decides to rat us out to Johnny ****ing lawman, murder becomes a demand and I become the supply. A lucrative business with few members in the Murder Club, runnin’ with the likes of the great “Deacon” Jim Miller, maybe you’ve heard of him. Another hard man who recognizes the hate growing inside a 12 gauge shot shell as me and I am proud to call him my brother. Loyalty is everything in our profession. And we are born to hang. I’m a bandit, a born criminal with a wild devil spirit, a shotgun in the dark and back of the head hitman, bleeding heart outlaw royalty until we find the rope’s end.
Ain’t no jail from New Austin to San Andreas that can hold me. All Cops Are Bastards.
LET’R RIP!!!
There can be no great heroes without great Villains ! You sir are a great Villain ! Lol good story bro !

John Smith was exploring and seeking trade when one of Powhatan’s chiefs captured him and killed his two companions. About December 29th 1607, he was brought before Powhatan, and afterwards reported that a long consultation was held by the tribal chiefs. Then two big stones were brought in, and he was forced down on them with executioners apparently ready to kill him with clubs. At this point, a young girl ran from Powhatan’s side and placed her head over his. He was released and given to understand that he and Powhatan were to be friends and he would be free to return to his base. It seems possible that Powhatan arranged this ‘sparing of his life’ ritual as a prelude to Smith’s being recognised as a friend and being received into the tribe. It seemed to John Smith that Pocahontas had saved other lives by giving warning of Indian attacks.
Absolutely love it ! Great history.

Another story
Princess Pocahontas was a native American who in the year 1607 intervened to save the life of pioneer Captain John Smith. Later she left her home in Virginia to travel to England, where she married an Englishman and became a regular in the court of King James. She became the first of her nation to convert to Christianity.
Her gave is not far from where I live.
Man that's awesome oz ! True story ? Sounds truthful.

Oops, I managed to miss yous all last night. I saw you come on at 3pm EST (8pm GMT) but I had a few people turn up at mine and lots of drinking rum happened so I correctly assumed my posse-concentration powers would be severely diminished. Friday nights sometimes take on a life of their own
Irregardless of all that, I hope yous all made a few aminals extinct and ground up a lot of XP.
Slightly off-topic. I dunno if you or the posses follow Outlaw Gary on YouTube? I found his latest upload very interesting. Basically, there's a place on an island where if you die you spawn at the exact same location. So if you can get a couple of posses to stand still at this spot a designated murderer or two can repeatedly and creatively kill them racking up lots of XP and achievement awards.
Check it out, looks like a bit of mad fun and a bit of a change from the usual YouTube tricks and tips:Wow that's darn inventive ! Must have been some real ride or die type of members ! Lol

Very nice topic! Heres my little backround story:
Little Chapawee, means little beaver.
Born in 1876, she belongs to the last generations of Sioux who grew up in freedom. Her year of birth was the year of the battle at Little Bighorn, so when her life began, her tribes great times already had been over. In the age of 14, she lost most of her relatives to the massacre called Wounded Knee. The white men brought her to a catholic boarding school, so she learned writing and reading in English. But she didnt stay there for long. She never understood the double standards of these people who had murdered most of her family, so she flew from them one night.
Since that day, shes on her own in the wilderness...
Great Story partner !

Something most modern movies/stories--coughLookingatyouDisneyStarWarscough--fail to understand is that a good hero is only as compelling as the villain/threat they face. I love The Warriors, but absent that amazing performance from David Patrick Kelly (one of cinemas great character actors for villains--see Commando), it's largely forgettable.
My kids hate that clip. When they get in trouble, I used a modified version of that to get their attention.
They also loathe it when they threaten me and I use the stock: "The United States of America does not negotiate with terrorists" line. I don't even get past "States" and they get super pissed.
The new one I've rolled out when they're being difficult is from when Peter McNeely was doing a press conference before his fight against Mike Tyson. I'll find a way to work in, "you have a big dump in your pants" to wit:
Maybe I'll start using that on griefers. Complete with the accent and everything.
Love it ! And oh my the female radio dj who kept giving the Warriors updates on there quest to get back to long island ! I can still hear her voice and and straight loved her ! Lol
