    I've heard that about the sound. Makes me curious which is really all it takes to get me to buy something in this game.

    If it's via their Support site, they say <24 hrs. My experience has been less than an hour in most cases but if they escalate the issue then it can take longer (more than a day in some cases).

    I'm over it, that's fine.  ....and I apologize for snapping back at you.  At least now you know one of my pet peeves.  ;)

    Seriously though, it's a small staff of what I consider some stand up folks who I don't believe would cross that line based on personal feelings.  We all still post as part of the community and even disagree but we're not going to start using mod privileges for personal grudges, preferences, etc.

    IME, there is a front line of "experts" who are essentially first-line "call center" material I would say.  There is a way however to get your trouble ticket escalated to a R* next-tier rep which is what I have done on one occasion when I was unhappy with a response I received.  I got a much better answer from them. 

    No idea how many reps they have but I'll wager that first line of responders takes care of at least 90% of that.

    Yeah, same thing happened to me and I thought that too.  I did however get an email later that confirmed it.  .....so I would say yes, it did set up correctly since I saw the same thing you are seeing.

    I would definitely say bug but I guess you could also provide feedback on it in the sense of how it affects your overall gameplay experience or something along those lines?

    I've also submitted feedback similar to yours to Rockstar, so I guess we'll see if they choose to be helpful or not.

    Someone said awhile back that when some datamining of Red Dead Online was done, "passive mode" was in the content, so I'm pretty sure it's officially coming at some point. I didn't know the unofficial way had been patched. Sad news for me. 

    I recall the code they scrounged through revealed private sessions, properties and vehicles (wagons).  Can't speak to the passive mode because it's been a while since I looked at those findings.  I do remember the some (or perhaps all) the data they mined was from the app. 

    Can't help but think R* has some of these options / components queued up and ready to be implemented but they're simply waiting for different benchmarks in the beta to be met, prioritizing or whatever.  I would suspect that at this relatively early stage it is easier in this environment to keep everyone in one bucket.  .....for now.  

    I'd like to see some of these options come to fruition.

    I've been on the Social Club since GTAV and already have Google Authenticator so it was a quick thing to do.  Just thought others like me would want to cash in on the free GBs and/or GTA money.

    Hmmmmm.....   I didn't say there was "no point" in posting here Luke , simply suggesting a means to get your suggestions directly to R*.  Of course you are welcome to post here and share your thoughts, suggestions, experience or tap into us as a resource and we encourage that.  I was in no way suggesting otherwise.  

     

  10. We see a lot of people on Twitter not very happy because their Social Club accounts have been hacked and they can’t get them back. A lot of these people won’t have 2 step verification to help them out. Well, now Rockstar Games is pushing for people to start using Two-step verification.

    Just be warned that there is a 500 character limit so you would either need to reword your suggestion/grievance or break it up into separate topics. 

    Telling us why your leaving the game is all well and good but won't make a bit of difference since this is a fan forum (not affiliated with R* / 2K).

    Well, cosmetics are certainly going to be part of it but I'm also expecting to see more content in the way of gameplay.  Unfortunately for me, the content that is PvP related (PvP game modes) is not something I tend to enjoy.

    Time will tell....

     

    EDIT: btw, CoD MW Remastered is free this month for PS+ subscribers.  THat may give you a little something to do in the meantime and won't cost you anything.

  13. I was about to buy this last night until I looked at the damage stat.  Doesn't seem worth it to me over say the Lancaster or Litchfield.  The ammo capacity seems to be the real selling point.  

    I'll still get it but maybe for shooting some game?  I don't have too many instances where I find myself in a bad way because I ran out of ammo with those other two repeaters.  ......and as it is, I find the Lancaster effective but just on the edge of lacking enough umph in some situations (requiring 1-2 more shots to get the job done).  

    Yeah, I'm not too good at headshots either so the Evan's may not see too much use in my arsenal.

    Well, a glimmer of good news is that since last week they have been saying to expect more content, updates, bonuses, etc. on a more regular basis.  

     

    Last week:

    "Stay tuned each week for new content, bonuses, limited time clothing and more coming in and out of the Red Dead Online Beta and keep an eye out for more updates as we continue improving and growing the world of Red Dead Online."

     

    This week:

    "Stay tuned for a raft of updates big and small including gameplay like the Fishing Challenge, new Showdown Modes, and Target Races – along with new weekly bonuses and a lot more."

    Yeah, I remember an instance or two in GTA where they did this. I believe one was due to some changes but I can't really recall the details.
