That is not a dead end. That link @Parzival provided was the official R* Feedback and Support page.
If you're looking for a refund for your purchase, you can certainly try with SIE, but I'm surprised they didn't send you back to R* for this.
......either way, the link provided is not a "dead end" as I checked it myself as well.

Just to clarify, RDR2.org is a fan site not affiliated with R* or Take Two. When you said "You", I wasn't sure if you realized that.
Either way, that is what these forums are for to help provide a platform for RDR2 fans to suggest and share ideas, help fellow community members or to seek help, etc. If however (for good measure) you want to plant a bug directly in R*'s ear, you can also submit some of what you share with your fellow members here over on R*'s Feedback site. Now, you won't get a response but think of it more as a suggestion box of sorts that R* monitors:

The OP was a completionist who didn't like the story missions but was so determined to get better medals he would keep replaying the same missions. That would drive me crazy and I happened to like the game.
......and I said it back in 2018 and I'll say it again but IMO / IME the main missions really are a just a way to help progress through the story. Where these games really come into their own is all that you can do in between them. .......and that is where I spent many hours of my time.
I really didn't mind the linearity of the story missions. Now, that's not to say I like games on rails necessarily (with a few exceptions), but these are way more than that.
I'm not saying I don't have gripes about some things with R* games but their stories are not one of them. That is something they really do well at IMO. Obviously, if these games were really as bad as folks like the OP made them out to be, they wouldn't sell as well as they do.
If it's not your cup of tea then it's not your cup of tea. Doesn't mean someone lacks coordination or skills in real life because they don't agree with someones take on certain aspects of it. ......it's just a game and folks will either enjoy it or they won't.

On the PS4 I know you can use the L3 button to help calm your horse while riding and it helps restore stamina.
I don't ever participate in the horse races so I really don't know how it differs in this regard or which breed would be better for such things.

Havent really had a problem, mostly on missions but that comes with territory.
I mentioned it earlier in the thread with the full description of how all this is supposed to work but here's the bit about that specifically:
Press Charges: When a lower Hostility player is killed without retaliating they will have an option to “Press Charges” during the respawn period, which will enforce an increase on their attacker’s Hostility and Bounty value. Press Charges is not available if you are a high Hostility player or marked as an enemy to the player who killed you.

I would also advise browsing through some of those threads to see if there may be a solution to your problem in what someone else may have shared previously. Sorry I personally have no answers for you.

I don't play very often at all these days mainly because I'm just waiting for more content. ......but R* isn't removing the Roles from individual accounts for inactivity. I still see my stuff when I log in and you're on more frequently than I am.
In your case I would say it's just the same bug others in your situation are experiencing like the camps, etc. RDO is the same like GTAO where businesses and everything else should still be there even if you're gone for a while.

Not exactly what you're asking here to be honest. Are you inquiring if someone else can run your posse in your absence while you're offline, doing other tasks, etc?
If it's your permanent posse, I believe you need to be online and in the same session for people to join your posse. As for others adding waypoints in your group, I can't recall if another player in the group aside from the leader can create one that everyone else can see.

With that our of the way, this was a Necro bump of a old discussion from 2018 initially about the PvP modes in RDO and some speculation as to how the gameplay would be in the future. The game was still in beta at that time IIRC.
Either way, no one is forcing you to play the PvP modes if you don't want to nor is anyone here expecting you to.

Double Rewards on All Showdowns Plus
Daily Challenge Streak Rewards and MoreKeep your wits and your blades sharp this week - Red Dead Online is introducing four new maps to the Featured Series, each of which sees you armed with just a fistful of Throwing Knives at the round's outset. Keep an eye out for the Shotguns littering the map for a deadly edge in combat. Take part in this week's Featured Series – or any showdown mode – to earn Double XP through April 13.
Pike’s Basin
A good, old-fashioned turf war in the arid climes of Pike's Basin. The rules are simple: Capture and retain the most territories to win. It's surviving and holding on that are the hard part.
Stillwater Creek
Take control of unclaimed loot in the long grass and murky waters of Stillwater Creek, returning it to your team's home base to outscore your rivals. Other players no longer appear blipped on the mini-map in this new Showdown map.
Roanoke Valley
Just to the north of the Annesburg Mines, the great state of New Hanover plays host to a deadly game of capture. Defend your stockpile from enemies while stealing from them at the same time. Whichever team steals the most wins. Other players no longer appear blipped on the mini-map in this new Showdown map.
Kamassa River
The calm waters of the meandering Kamassa River are the backdrop for this frenetic and explosive mode. All players start out carrying a package - the goal is to deliver said package to your enemy's camp without getting killed. Whichever team delivers the most or all of their packages by the end of the game will destroy the enemy base for good. Other players no longer appear blipped on the mini-map in this new Showdown map.
Look out for fresh maps hitting two more Showdown Modes in the next couple of weeks.

Yeah.... Now that I think of it, I believe the owner set it up so that new users have to post a few times before they can use PMs. We have had issues in the past where some would join up with ill intentions and this was to help mitigate that problem.
The OP should be receiving emails from these responses if they set up notifications. I also see they visited less than 24 hrs ago so maybe they are still checking in on this thread. If they don't seem to be active, I would recommend checking a posse from members who are more active in the community.
