Yeah, if your not going to kill the revenue men, why even bother? LOL. I myself prefer the kill them at the roadblock before it becomes an issue method. It just makes it more fun... especially more fun than auto playing the game from another room...
Agreed.
I play these games for the enjoyment of them. That's why I don't like to skip portions of the gameplay just to make money, wait / run down the clock to maximize profits, repeat the same missions / actions over and over again, etc. If it's not fun, then it's not fun and I won't play. When it becomes too much of a grind, I move on.

I really liked the snow. But I do have a question about it. We just had what, a week with snow everywhere, snow falling all the time. But when I go into the Grizzlies, still, it doesn't snow.......it rains. The temperature is anywhere from 7 to 15 and it rains. Couldn't Rockstar fix that?
That's been something folks had noticed since the beta.
Try submitting a suggestion through the R* Feedback site. Its obvious the effect exists but why they don't use it in the Grizzlies, I don't know.

oh! great! the resupply mission was working until yesterday on my game, but i just found out that it no longer works. i still can pick the mission, and complete it within the time, but it keeps empty and the mission still available. i can repeat it but in the end the production always remains empty.
so... looks like they keep working on destroying the game. RDO is a total trash
....and yet you keep playing it.

Just sucks they only kept the snow for a week ...
They cut it early for GTAO too.
All I know is that certain people here had complained about it so I'm sure they're happy it's gone. ......but then again, I think some wouldn't be happy regardless.

Not come across any bugs on PC, should of kept my mouth shut lol, will log on later to find loads of bugs with my luck.
Yeah, not everyone is having problems and not everyone who is is having the same ones.
My suggestion to those that do is to report them to R* Support if none of the recommendations people have been providing help your situation.

I can talk to the admin to see if there is a way to reset your password on your old account. .....or I can close the old account and let you use this new one but I will have to close one or the other either way. Let me know.
EDIT: didn't hear back from you. I suspended your old acct and sent you a msg. PM me if you want to try to keep the old one vs. this new one and I'll help you.

The OP said he headshot them several times, now slow and steady is a good card but it's not that good. I am assuming these hacks are on PC which is funny because all the crap I get is on PS4.
.......the OP hasn't been back since their initial post.

So please Rockstar let us know that you are going to be doing something to prevent this type of thing from happening as it is getting frustrating and annoying.

Well, i should clarify I’m talking the moving map part of the app - the only useful part. The app itself still exists.
Gotcha
-
17 minutes ago, CosmoKramer said:
Agreed, I was saying the app was still available for the online game for quite a while after the proximity blip update yet got removed close to PC release hence my theory that it wasn’t loss of usefulness that got it removed but inability/unwillingness to support it across all platforms.
Ah... I didn't know they got rid of the app completely.
-
12 minutes ago, CosmoKramer said:
Loss of relevance pretty much leads to obsolescence doesn’t it? Regardless of the semantics, it was still in the game for some time after the proximity blip change was introduced but disappeared just before the PC release. Hmm...
I always saw it as a convenience more than a competitive advantage - that was the benefit for me and why I miss it.
The blips were taken out of the app quite a while before the PC release. That's when I ended up deleting it. It was pretty much useless to me at that point. I never made any connection to the PC release but yeah, ok. I'm not bent over it.

You could set and clear waypoints using the app as well as see where NPC enemies were on missions and easily and quickly zoom in and out to improve situational awareness. You could also quickly look up who blips on your radar were without risking getting shot while blind.
Now when you want to quick access the clunky in-game map you get taken into the menu for collectibles instead because they’re mapped to the same button.
I don’t buy that it was removed because it became obsolete, my guess is they couldn’t support it for PC players so binned it for everyone.
I didn't say it was neutered due to obsolescence. .....just that it became less eelevant after the changes with the inclusion of the new proximity blip mechanics and changes in that direction.
I still found it useful for situational awareness, etc. but it didn't provide me any significant advantage as it once had. .....I used it religiously prior to that.
I have no idea why they did it though. I do know that it provided what I felt was an unfair advantage to those who could use it though back in the day. ......didn't stop me though.

I could swear I remember a great little feature where I could have a live interactive map on my iPad to see where I was at all times and where the threats were coming from. But I must have dreamt that as surely no self-respecting game company would take that out and leave us with the clunky in-game map feature (albeit an improvement on GTAO).
Well, before we didn't use to have proximity blips so the app was way more useful since everyone was visible. ......but then we got the proximity restrictions and the app (while I still found a use for it) simply wasn't as relevant. There was no advantage as there once was.
The one exception is when fishing. The app used to give users the ability to see others approaching even with proximity limitations but now that's not an option anymore.

That s a good idea. I see certain people getting so frustrated over the game and I just think to myself, why bother? Report the bugs you guys have and take a break.
.....well, that's what I do when I run into problems or a lull in interest regarding content, etc. GTAO and RDO are those types of games for me. Ones I play and then put aside for a while for various reasons.
I'm usually engaged in several different games depending on which friends(s) I hook up with, if I'm solo, my / our mood, etc.

Haha Guys, the video on Youtube, was just a quick example, of what i would love to have my character do.. But the good old T2 Arnold Twirl would be amazing!
I know it might not come, but its a little Xmas wish! - i bet back in those western days, they diddent care about safety....well, it's not like common sense was some sort of foreign concept back then and that plays a big part of safety.
.....but yeah, I get we're talking movies and games. Just had a knee jerk reaction to that video.

l am an ex military small arms instructor and a current civilian owner and (safe) user of firearms... Safety is number one... that being said, there are times and places to safely practice trick shooting (with proper instruction) should you so desire... How do you think those old guys doing things like outshooting an AR15 with a lever gun, fast drawing a six shooter and popping two balloons in less than a second or putting six shots Center of mass one handed with a single action faster than a 9mm semiautomatic manage to learn these things?
That being said, a YouTube video isn’t proper instruction and your back yard shooting gallery isn’t the safe place... It would be cool for the video games, but don’t try this at home kids LOL.
I get that and I understand there are risks professional trick shooters, etc. will take that others simply shouldn't. .....just my initial reaction I had to the video of this dude in his kitchen showing a maneuver that goes against some of the most basic rules in the safe handling of firearms.
......but yeah, I'd leave it to the pros.

A couple of things......
First, please understand that RDR2.org is not affiliated with R* nor Take Two in any way. My suggestion is to use the in-game reporting feature and / or the R* Support site to report any player you suspect is hacking, cheating, using exploits or simply griefing in the game.
Second, please don't use all caps when replying. There's no reason to shout at us and it just makes it more difficult to read your thread (I adjusted your title for you).
Seems another mod deleted some other more colorful threads you had tried to create on the subject. Take a breath and relax. Our community is here to help where they can but just remember that we are not the cause of your woes.

Is this on PC or console?
If no one else responds with a potential solution, I would suggest contacting R* Support directly and opening a trouble ticket. I would include this screen shot as well.
If this is on PC, it could simply be a driver issue or setting.
Welcome to the forums by the way.

Hi Local and welcome to the forums.
My suggestion would be to contact R* Support and open a trouble ticket with them. There may also be a couple threads around here discussing errors like these as they can be relatively common. Unfortunately. they have been known to be persistent with some.

This topic should be sticky'd on the front page of this forum. This is not a trouble shooting issue. This is R* being lazy and not fixing anything and at the same time giving players no ****ing options to work around it.
I feel at this point. The only way to get R* to do anything is to get popular content creator on YouTube OR other video game sites to cover R*s BS.
They rail on Fallout 76 all the time. Its R* turn. to get grilled.
WHERE THE **** IS THE ****ING PRIVATE LOBBIES!>!>!? Theres zero reason as to why private lobbies and pure free aim lobbies don't exist. Not one reason what so ever.
This forum is for known bugs, glitches, technical issues, etc. It's in the right spot and is already visible to everyone. I pinned it here a long time ago to make sure of that.
My suggestion is for folks to continue to complain to R* via their Support page AND their Feedback site. This is something they are still working on and IIRC, there was even a brief mention of it in the last TU patch notes. ......so it is something R* is aware of and seems to be trying to sort out.

Rockstar actually added a negative honor class "griefing".
A posse mate dynamited a shine wagon last night, it said "negative honor griefing" .
Thought that was interesting.
That is interesting.......
I hope that people are also reporting any instances they encounter with people like this. I would use the in-game feature and / or the Support site as there is a section to report individuals and groups.
When R* released the last update they also made a Tweet requesting that people continue to submit feedback through their Feedback site. This is really important to them and I believe they take this stuff to heart. The more people that voice their dissatisfaction with aspects of the game like this, the more likely it will be changed in the future.

I'd like to take this opportunity to remind folks to keep the exchanges civil. I can understand some folks might be frustrated by some aspects of the game, have different opinions, etc., but let's not take it out on each other. Its just a game after all.

Offense? .....naw. Just giving some other viewpoints on the subject is all. If you're in to playing the game the way you suggest, more power to you.
I didn't take anything said here as trying to be offensive toward you or what you suggest (I certainly didn't intend to). ......sorry you took it that way.
