It's not an option on console and I had not heard that it was an option on PC.

In one of the new roles you can unlock a gun locker to store weapons you don't use similar to GTAO.

I'm not a feminist myself in the sense of what it can mean these days but I can understand how this can be a more sensitive subject to some in various ways. Not the way I expected the conversation to go either and apologies to the OP for that.
I think we can all move past it though. ....no worries. Just assumed you were a woman as well.

I guarantee you that when it comes to making deliveries, players are going to instinctively go into "shoot first, ask questions later" mode if they see another player(s) within firing range regardless of whether said player(s) truly have intentions to attack or not. If you do not intend to attack and don't wish to die, it's best to give them a very wide berth!
Exactly..... I don't take it personally but then again, I might consider trying to take or blow up their supplies at that point when I wouldn't have otherwise.

I don't think I played enough to earn it back this time around. Although I wasn't really keeping track. I may have.

Just sayin, Harlock started it thank you for finishing it I expect they will receive the same treatment yes?
Well, I was trying to be diplomatic in my reply but since you asked.....
What she wrote didn't deserve to what amounted to being termed a "B" IMO so I removed that one post of yours. I also considered the context and perhaps your particular sensitivity to the "mansplaining" label, etc. which is why I tried to diffuse it by asking everyone to move on. .....no warnings, etc.
Clear enough, yes?

This was the only thing I heard announced this week:

Just like to remind folks to keep the discussion civil. This doesn't need to turn insulting and posts that do will be removed. Thanks.

I'd like to remind folks to keep the discussion civil. Disagreements are fine to discuss but personal insults are not. Thanks.

I merged these two threads together and placed this in the PC section as it seems to specifically apply there.
Again, if this is an exploit issue having to do with griefers, the best advice would be to keep your posses "invite only" and don't leave them open so any "random" player can join. That's an open invitation for trolls and not worth the potential headache IMO.

It's obvious R* took a different tack from GTAO when they created RDO.
With that in mind, how do you see the Reaper Lord's role differing in the RDO game world than it does in GTA?
Now that you're expanding into RDO, how does a members standing in the group change between games or does it?
Are you finding a lot of current TR members showing an interest in RDO?
-
Let's be careful about listing names here.
My suggestion if anyone does have information on the individual(s) is to contact R* Support via their site. Their is a specific way to report players and / or groups there. Also, you can bring up your ban and request they review your case.
Personally, I would use the route of creating a trouble ticket regardless as there is no other way to plead your case apparently. ......unless someone knows a phone #?

Someone else posted about being banned for what seems like the same scenario as you:

Don't know. Anyway, I was just hoping someone had a method that I was missing. No worries...
I felt the same way once I started playing RDO. I'm surprised that mechanic didn't transfer over as I had used it numerous times in the campaign.

Anyway, we don't agree but I was surprised to hear your line on that one.
Aim a gun, don't shoot, relax once you're past. A pointed gun is used to exercise control in Westerns (and in life), it can be a game thing too! Nicer than random executions which exacerbate the problem, or even create one where there was none.
Not sure why. I'm not advocating people go around and randomly shoot others just because. I simply don't see this action being the same as griefing but I do see how some might be more aggressive about it than some would like.
I'm also not saying I would kill someone else in the game just because they are fishing nearby, traveling the same road, etc. A lot depends on several different factors one of which is just how much of a threat I perceive someone to be based on the particular location / terrain, their actions / inaction, my posse strength, my personal experience with being jumped, etc. If it's just me and/or another buddy, I may not be willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt that is near the road we are traveling on as i would with a full posse.
I'm also not one to actively go out and hunt down anyone within the range of the minimap either. Even someone traveling the same road I wouldn't consider attacking if we can see they are changing course to avoid us. .....but someone just sitting there next to the road, we have no idea what their intentions are until we're upon them. Personally, I don't fish anywhere near roads that close but I guess you never know. One reason is because if I hear a horse or footsteps, I know someone has gone out of their way to reach my location so I need to pack it up and figure out what's going on.
In all other cases I'm a live and let live kinda guy. .....on missions though, it all depends as I don't see things so cut and dry in my ROE.

Does this happen on console too?
Not that I've ever heard and just discovered about the OPs scenario yesterday when another member mentioned the same thing. I had to check to make sure they were not the same person but nope, two different individuals who were banned for a random in the posse donating feathers apparently.

Guess our cultures work different since we try to enlighten the ones we love but hey eeach to their own
Naw.... Nothing to do with culture. Just that I'm not going to belittle my wife like that. She doesn't like scary movies and we may joke around about it but I'm not going to be patronizing. She knows it's not real but certain ones can make her feel really uncomfortable for certain reasons. I just don't watch those when she's around.
The OPs wife has a problem with one aspect of the game involving the cries from dying animals which happens to bother her. She obviously knows it's not real.
4 hours ago, dIV4r said:Off-topic: My ex was a very deep animal lover and it got to the point where I couldn't eat meat around her. I adjusted and it was annoying sometimes but I cared about her to I made due. She would get upset seeing animals in games like this die and I couldn't even play RDR with her in the room. Some people are more sensitive to empathy and anxiety than others.
Anyways, I just go with the bleed out route myself.
That sucks. I like some animals too but partly because I think they're tasty.
That would be a bridge too far for me. Sorry you didn't see that incompatibility before it happened.

If this is the case then the reason isn't because you exposed yourself by playing online or by forming a posse, it was due to the actions of a random that joined your open posse invite. Personally, I never join randoms or leave my posse open to strangers as this is a sure way for griefers to take advantage of me or my team. Seems someone now may have found a way to get people banned.
My suggestion in that scenario to others would be to simply keep their posses closed and play with friends who don't use glitches, exploits or otherwise violate the rules that can be considered as bannable offenses. Only posse up with people you know or you vetted.
btw, there was someone else who posted today regarding being banned for 30 days because of someone in their posse donating a ton of feathers at their camp. I would suggest trying to find a phone # you can call to discuss this with a representative.
Did you happen to catch the players name? You can report them through R* Support and plead your case via a trouble ticket. ......or just open a ticket and see what they say.

Also when my account gets reinstated does that mean they are going to take my gold bars that I purchased through their store? Seems like thievery to me.
You're making assumptions about something that hasn't come to pass yet. Also, we have no idea what else they may do as it will entirely depend on the severity of the offense. My guess is that it's simply a 1 month ban as they said
Personally, if you can replay to the email, I would do that. None of us are privy to what actions you may have taken or what R* thinks you have taken.
The thing is, if you're not being honest, we'll never know the answer and if you are being honest, we'll still never know unless R* tells you.

Well, you can't sleep in online so I wouldn't worry about that part of your concern.
.......yeah, the camps seem not to work correctly for some more than others.
