I can see it happening (if it's not the prequel everyone thinks it is) and it wouldn't be a new thing from Rockstar's part. GTA V had 3 endings.

How on earth do they clean and repair EVERYTHING in the world up overnight, especially if someone has gone on a rampage. It would take weeks or months of careful planning to "reset" everything properly.
The series is set in a future where technology is so advanced there are robots that are perfectly equal to human beings, in appearence, emotions, manner of speaking, intelligence. I don't think cleaning them up would be a problem, given the tech they have in hands.

You're correct. It wasn't the case with RDR's first trailer, the narrator was Bonnie's father, Drew MacFarlane.

I also wanted to ask if anyone thinks the reason for this weird lack of communication is because of the Benz departure from and Lawsuit against Rockstar? He has been critical in making previous games and now he's gone and we get this weird silence. Anyone else reckon there is a link there? I would hate it to be so - that one guy could have been so critical that it potentially stops a game coming out - but maybe it is so!
