Sorry the challenged glitched on ya CMCC. Maybe if you log on again it will reset? The captures are only $10k a piece so I think your idea of just blasting them is worth it if you just want the tomahawk. ...hatchet, whatever.
Got it! Logged on last night and it prompted me to capture the final bounty again. Shot him dead in an alley. I aint takin' no chances!

Yeah like I said earlier, you can be the good guy IRL. Why not be a badass?
I've been thinking maybe I'd start the game as a ruthless son of a bitch. That's who Arthur is, right? Then I'll start to change my ways, create a character arc.

Like a car in GTA. Somebody blows it up, they pay for it. They'll pay the vet bill. Anyone know how much horse insurance is?

I would think there wouldn't be permanent death for horses in Online. For just this reason.

Thanks to PlayStation Access by way of comicbook.com, I just read that dead bodies will decompose or attract and be eaten by predators as apposed to simply vanishing after a firefight.
Also we can praise and scold dogs. So there’s that.
Is this common knowledge? I hadn’t heard that yet. Personally, I find that very exciting. One of my biggest pet peeves in any video game is the disappearing of enemies I’ve killed. Looks like this vast world will be littered with the bones of every life you’ve taken.
Sick.

When do you think we will see the next gameplay trailer and what are some things you want them to show off? I'm hoping they show off some side activities
I think they'll show us part II of gameplay and then release an Online video just before launch in October. They did something similar for GTAV. In the next video, in addition to what they've already mentioned they'd be showing, I'd like to see them touch on safehouses.

Yeah I'll grant you it was fun. Once I'd 100%ed I turned on the unlimited dead eye and used the sniper rifle, as you can keep AIS even while reloading, meaning you can take multiple shots in slo mo. Now THAT's fun. You should try it. My favourite trick was shooting someone in the kneecap first which shot them up into the air sideways, then seeing if I could get a headshot before they hit the floor.
You sick son of a bitch.

Dead eye also. Personally I've never been a fan of dead eye. I always felt like it was a bit of a cheat.
You misspelled fun.
You always felt like it was a bit of fun. I think that's what you meant to say.

Well I've checked all of "Off-Topic" and couldn't find this one. So, where ya at?

So Red Dead has been said to be a "permanent franchise" according to Take Two. Which means we can someday expect a Red Dead Redemption 3 or something of the like. Maybe that will be a continuation of Arthur's story, in which case he makes it out of this one alive. Or maybe, simply, He ends things on good terms with John and they go their separate ways- which would explain why he isn't mentioned in RDR. They part as friends. Each wanting out of the outlaw life. The more and more i think about it, the more faith I have in Arthur making it out alive.

I think we’re covering this in another thread.

They should have two types of sessions. One that is balls to the wall, zombies, pegasus', aliens and an assortment of ridiculous sh*t. And one that is grounded and realistic. You'll find me in the latter.

Knowing me I'll do 2 run-throughs of the story to try both. First time will be help.
I had always planned to do this with GTAV being that there are different ways to approach and execute a mission/heist. But I never did.

Has anyone else noticed that Marston is wearing a few different outfits throughout the trailer? Does this mean NPCs will be changing their clothes too? If so, that's pretty cool.

The Story Of RDR2
in Red Dead Redemption 2
Posted
I've seen a lot of talk online about us not knowing enough about the story of Red Dead Redemption II. That there's still so much to learn before release in October. But Rock Star has already given us this premise:
"America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed. After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him."
Would you really want to know more than this?
