Honestly... RDR2 is going to dominate so a company saying something like this is not surprising.
It isn't that they felt this way, it is that they openly admitted to it. I am sure a lot of other developers were relieved because the 4th quarter is a huge deal for Christmas sales and banking off the holiday season. It is just something you don't normally admit to.. like being relieved a game got pushed back for the sake of sales.

If they don't have it in the game I will be a bit mad. Not only is it shown in the stills but it was said to be in the last game and never was. I know several people who even complained about it. I think they listen to their fans enough to put it in this time around. I am not worried. It will be in the game.

I would wait it out a bit longer. Sure you can see people playing it now but you know, it only takes one gun patch to ruin a game. I am not sure if I will get it or not. Still undecided.

Yeah exactly. Like I hope they get that. I know a lot of people who play shooters for that very reason. It is part of the visual. This is probably why so many people tried saying video games promote violence but it is the violence in virtual realty that helps me cope with not lashing out sometimes.

Thanks guys. Yeah I guess cutting it on the tips is fine. I will keep that in mind. I really don't do anything to it that would cause damage but I want it to be longer by winter.

I am trying to grow my hair out again. Someone told me if I do something called "micro trims" it will grow faster. I guess getting the tips cut every 6 weeks makes this happen. To me, it doesn't make any sense. I am going to see what my sister's friend says. She used to cut my hair for me.

Only two days away boys and girls. Not sure who plays PC games on here but thought it was worth mentioning.
I seen the UK end of Paypal confirmed it. So yeah, we will see what deals we get this year. I hope there are some good games!

Seems like most people are now okay with the delay. No one is complaining anymore which is good to see. I know delays suck but in the long run, it will benefit the game. Here's to hoping we get some new updates next month.

YES! That is what it was. It has been some time since I played GTA V online and this is what I couldn't remember. I wanted to comment on this thread days ago but couldn't remember how GTA V did it. So yeah, I would love something like this but instead of drops just have them be planted somewhere. Hidden maybe. Allow us to hunt for them.

Was going to make this point myself and a very valid one. I think if John is indeed in the game, we will see him looking out for himself and destroying or at least attempting to destroy the gang from within.

This is something I have not seen mentioned yet on here.
So in RDR1, there was a nice physical attribute to the game that when you shot someone, they didn't quickly fall over. They stumbled a bit. The same for GTA 4 as well I believe. In GTA V however, they toned down the physics and did away with small details like this. I would like to think that they will no continue with this.
Do you think realistic shooting will be a part of RDR2 or will it be the same as GTA V?

Welcome! I hope you enjoy it here. I am glad to see more people joining who are new to the game. I still think it is a gem worth playing if people had skipped out on it the first time around.

I don't mind them being discreet about it all just as long as it is in the game. I want something to do for comedy. I mean for most of us guys, anything like this is not for "sexiness" just pure comedy, specially with friends!

Not sure about 4 players, I think 3 would be the cap if they do it BUT I like the idea of DLC.. Like say there are 6 total main gang members... Have 3 do the main story and have maybe 3 separate DLC packs for the rest.

I just mentioned it in another thread. Having some DLC where you can play as John. I want to be able to do something with him. I am still hoping he is in the main story and as a playable character but I know that it was said he was not... But you know, a lot of gaming companies lie to cover up a fantastic surprise and to keep people talking.

The only issue I would have with mysteries being in the game is that they really don't play that big of a role with gangs, specially not ones from back in that time era. It is one thing to have easter eggs and such but when you start putting in too much time into the side missions you really pull away from the main story and make it shorter by contrast which I do not want happening.

I think we will see more than people are expecting. For all we know, we will be able to play as him via DLC... Now that would be pretty dope in my opinion.

Thursday marks 7 years since the release of RDR. (May 18th 2010)
Do you think we will maybe see a new trailer on Thursday? Or some news on the game? A lot of my friends were talking about this the other day (on a gaming forum) and they think we will see something this week. I am hopeful for it. It would be almost poetic when you think about it.

I was thinking the same thing. Like I know there had to still be some of the Indians around who couldn't stand white people so to have them actually be a part of the story would be great. Like a rival gang or something.
