  1. I am with you. I don't mind the delay but why keep us thinking that there was still a chance for a fall release when you know damn well far ahead of time it will be delayed. They likely knew they wouldn't meet the fall goal 3 or 4 months ago but they still let it linger.

  2. It has nothing to do with Fluff Cry. That game is entirely different. They likely ran in to some delays with getting the game done. I am going to assume it has to do more so with the online side of the game than the main story. It happens all the time. This is why most creators make games 2 or 3 years in advance. So they can have something to crank out when they wish.

  3. I don't mean to sound like a douche here OP but this idea does not fit the bill at all. I liked AC, I played them all. There is a reason history briefing works well for those games. They are also heavily based on conspiracies and secret societies. You are not going to see any kind of "freemasonry voodoo" in a Rockstar game unless it was to make fun of it. As for the actual history.. I am done with school. lol

I know so many of us have gone back and forth with this a million times already but I still have a feeling that John will be in the main story line and the guy (William "Bill" Williamson) from the last one will be one of three you can play. There wont really be a villain but we will rather be playing as a fall out. So essentially we will see John turn good and actually become the villain OR we will see him turn away and Bill become to villain. At the beginning you will be playing as the bad guys though.

If you are right, I would be very happy. Everything that has mentioned John Marston being in the main story line though has been rejected.

Reigns, saddle, horse shoes, skin/fur and eye color... Not really all that much you can do with horses really. Imagine a lot of black/white horses in Online :D

Well there are a few there but still, nothing compared to what a car has and what can be customized on a car. I don't think they were into braiding their horse's hair or using dye in it back then. lol

I don't know if they would go that far in to things. Looking at GTA V, they had preset items in the home where nothing could be moved but the quality of said home changed depending on what you spent.

They will likely cheap out and give use that but hey, it is a start. Having your own safe space online will be needed lol

I find most people play them and enjoy them because they make the game feel longer. Like if it was just a straight story to the end, the game would likely feel waaay too short ya know?

Yeah I guess. It was never something that I cared about in a game unless I was rewarded with something for the main story line.

I wasn't much a fan of these either. The fast travel was fin but to have to pitch a tend every time was annoying.

I would have been okay with this had he done something different now and then but I guess that is asking for too much back then. Now though... Come on! haha

They will more than likely release it on PC just for the online. If they have a massive online community like GTA V did and still does, it will be in their interest. Specially if they allow creator mods and stuff which can be loads of fun!

Okay this I can see just for the fact that the online community would thrive being behind creative options but that is a big fat IF... If they decide to have this kind of online play and if they allow the creative options.

I agree about it being different today.

There are more PC gamers today than there were just in 2012. Yes, console gaming still leads but that is because of cost and convenience. It takes a lot more money to have a solid gaming PC built than to just buy a console.

That is the thing that makes me think they wont wast the time. Most gaming PC's cost $700+ for a good one. For one that can run games like Witcher, we are talking $1200+ and that is the cheaper end ones. Graphics cards get very pricey!

If they really put some effort into it, then robbing banks in the Wild West would be pretty cool. Would also make a great "job"/way to make money. The good side of it could be acting as the sheriff/town lynch mob going after robbers.

Same with robbing trains etc... man there is so much cool stuff in the Wild West when you think about it! They would all make interesting activities in the game

Exactly! The trains will be a huge bonus. I completely forgot about the train in the first one. DOH! I would be over the moon if they pull something like this off, for real!

Sounds good to me. I just don't want it to be a mess of people just fighting for no reason. They have to have things established well for this to work.

Yeah I get that. I would like to think they have enough sense in them to not have a system that enables online trolls.

  13. So in my randomness thinking, I thought - What if they had jobs players can do to earn money?

Like in GTA, you have the option to rob banks and such. What if you get the option to be "good" or "bad" online in RDR2?

So if you are good, you do "good" jobs like maybe transport items, farming, maybe own a pub/bar?

Owning a ranch of some sort is more less a given. I mean look at what you need/can own in GTAO to earn cash, Office, Vehicle Warehouse, Cargo warehouse, other garages, MC business etc. All that kind of stuff is gonna be ported over with Wild West equivalents.

    THIS.

If they are going to do it GTA style, they will have to allow places where you can store your horse no matter what.

  15. I like the idea of having the option to add details to your home like better quality chairs, beds, ect. I am with you on that. Not sure how many options we can actually have for that cause this isn't like the Sims but I am on board with the idea.

That doesn't make sense though. When you have a console game and want to work it into PC format it takes more time. Also, games that sell on Steam for example don't go on sale often and still make sales. Look at Black Ops II. It is still selling on there at full price how many years later?

Yeah but who is dumb enough to buy that? They even just brought it back for Xbox ONE so it is backwards compatible.

The point I was making is that the community itself on the PC side of gaming is not keen on these kinds of games. GTA is different for a lot of reasons.
