No, he is not able to, unfortunately. I sincerely hope Rockstar will fix this issue, it's too easy to blame the user(s).

She also dropped it on me that Players Unknown, which I mentioned as giving no disconnects, operated on a different server architecture that RDR2. I registered on behalf of a friend of mine. Whenever we play online, he would get constantly booted out of the game and receive error codes. At which the 0x20010006 would be the most common one.

I believe the longest period of time we could play together - without getting any error’s - would be two hours. As of late, the game has been unplayable for him with errors occuring every 10 - 15 minutes. We’ve tried installing DMZ, forwarding ports and check his router’ firmware; unfortunately nothing of the above helped.

I’m a little frustrated about the fact R* hasn’t announced some sort of public statement about the matter. RDR2 is the only game that tends to give such errors.
