  1. Well, the other day I had a PvP encounter that I most definitely would not call griefing, and fits within the ‘anything can happen’ , ‘it’s the Wild west’ PvP element of the game. I had just shot a 3* elk in the middle of nowhere. As I was approaching it, a blue dot appears andcomes over the ridge. Well, there was some confusion over who would be skinning this elk. There was a fist fight which I won. Then a little gunfight, which I lost. I tried to chase the thief down, but I just couldn’t. I got robbed by an outlaw fair and square, a few minutes of interesting encounter to break up the grind. I was attacked, but for a reason. The other player had a goal, stuck to it, and it didn’t dissolve into a 45 minute impromptu death match. There were no mid animation cheap shots or excessive spawn killing. I believe if the average griefer behaved like this guy, there would be very minimal complaints and there would be much less call for things like passive modes and private lobbies and the PvP element wouldn’t need any major overhauls... Unfortunately, the average griefer seems to confuse being an outlaw with being a murderous psychopath that needs to spend every second of online time killing everything that moves and finding every way possible to keep others from playing the game at all.

  2. Yes. One button push to C oc k, one button push to fire. Except dual actions and semi autos anyway.

stupid sensor... it’s not derogatory in this sense...

  3. Well, not only have I never played fortnight, I haven’t even seen a video of fortnight played. Not on my radar in the slightest. But, death match has been a staple for decades. Some I like, some I don’t. This mode I like.

  4. Well, I tried the tomahawk game, not my cup of tea... I need to ‘git gud’. But the other death match is hands down my favourite so far. Last man standing with shrinking map, you get your own weapons, multiple elimination rounds with the first too two wins taking it. Even if you suck (like me) it’s pretty painless. I even managed a few wins in some of the  tight maps like the cemetery and the mines (dual LeMat Shines here).

Ever since this update and removal of Beta I have been grief'd nonstop 😓 It's just really, really, getting to me *sigh*

I was Matchmaking to a Poker game and some stupid, pre-pubescent, shrilly kid started punching me --I couldn't do anything about it because I was loading into a game. Really ****ing annoying </rant>

Really? I thought players went ghost while waiting for poker. It’s what I’ve observed anyway. Something might have went wrong here.

  6. Defensive mode was never supposed to be invulnerable mode... maybe you shouldn’t have died from a single shotgun blast, but I’m not thinking it was a ‘critical’ hit (like varmit rifle to the head), but the massive damage killed you anyway.

Bottom line, defensive or not the idea is you still have to be a little cautious. I’m not sure I’d actually want invincible mode myself, but I do see how your experience was a little frustrating

I don't know how Sony engineers interpret this error but every single PS4 I came into contact gave this error now and then while playing Sleepingmdogs it's not her or a corrupt save or any other files imo

Every now and then I can live with.... 3 or 4 times before I can even load online with the possibility of being disconnected at any second is terrible... and it’s been that way for me since the update.

Sadly there's still not an Accessibility toggle to simplify reeling for fishing (such as an auto-reel button hold) so fishing in Singleplayer and multiplayer is still not possible for me. Really sucks because today I have 3 fishing related daily challenges

Also, I noticed a weird consequence of waving to another player... I walked into Smithfields Saloon in Valentine and a player waved at me, so I waved back, suddenly I took an honour penalty marked "Antagonize"... guess an NPC didn't like it? weird...

Did you wave for sure? There are antagonistic emotes that you could have accidentally hit...

  9. My starter horse is Brown Liquor... he has a brown coat. My red Arabian is Red Liquor. They both have their moments where you’d be convinced they were drinking their namesakes. Just today Red Liquor, for no apparent reason, took off at a full sprint directly into a head on collision with a speeding coach, killing himself and nearly me....

  10. Personally, once I got the Evans I just kind of stuck with it. I like the sound and I like the capacity. Head shots are still about as instakill as it gets, factoring in ability cards. Sure, it’s slow to reload, but you don’t really have to all that often. If I want to hit a little harder I use a bolt action.

  11. Yeah maybe. But maybe they’ll stay red longer too. Who knows... too new to tell.

well, I think I can share some observations now. Today, while doing a prospector jig in the middle of the road in black water, some guy ran me down for no reason and became an enemy. I killed him shortly after when his friend decided to take me out...  should have had a stop watch. I followed them out of town for a short while (5 min or so) trading shots with them. At one point, the one guy winked out, then his buddy about 30 seconds later.

that leads me to believe the ‘enemy’ status is on a fixed timer that runs maybe 10 minutes or so from the time the enemy status gets activated. It doesn’t seem to get extended based on th last aggressive act. That would seem to explain people ‘going blue’ mid gunfight.
