I wonder if they will end up doing another LA Noire game. I mean I legit enjoyed that more than GTA. I am guessing that if they do focus on the next GTA, another RDR will follow after that though I think it would be wise to mix things up.

Rockstar is making their games so large and detailed at this point that they take a lot of resources to develop (RDR2 especially with every studio under their umbrella contributing), and while I love huge open worlds like San Andreas and RDR2's world, it's had the side effect of decreasing their output. If these GTA: Americas rumors turn out to be true, GTA6 will be an utterly massive game, even bigger than RDR2, with multiple cities encompassing large swaths of North and South America. Unless they opt to make some games on a much smaller scale, I could see other less popular IPs like Manhunt, Bully, and LA Noire being shelved or even retired in favor of the big two in GTA and Red Dead. At this point, not counting ports of previous games, Rockstar is on track to start releasing one or two games per console generation.

  2. This is something that just dawned on me. Don't you think it would have been a nice gesture toward Sadie? Maybe kill some more O'Driscolls who showed up to check on their buddies to add some excitement for the player, then bury Jake and have a little funeral? Instead, they just left him laying in that cart and that was it. Not even Sadie mentions anything about it.

I could picture all the people obsessed with zombies losing it with "I told you so!" and then you have the ones who have "shelters" with stocked up food in their basements we all think are crazy, we'll be hitting them up first. lol

To paraphrase Mad Max, "And then your shelter was raided."

Hell yeah man! I stopped when this stuff started. I have not watched a single game since. I watch sports to unwind and forgot about crap like this, not have it rubbed in my face. The No Fun League really stands up to the name. I hope they tank even more. I am going to give the XFL a chance when it starts.

It ended up working out for McMahon with these protests and the backlash over them, I'd say. I enjoyed the XFL in its first run (of course, at the time I was still a die-hard WWE fan, which these days I'm not anymore), so I'd be willing to give it another shot. Assuming I can ever afford TV service again. Unlike Colin Krapperneck (is that not his last name? Like I GAF), I don't get paid millions to sit on a bench all day and instead now rely on food giveaways and assistance programs (which Donald Trump and all his cronies rail against as "communism" 🤬) to just keep the lights on. Oh, wait, I don't qualify for assistance programs because I'm literally a few dollars above some arbitrarily low minimum income level. Being white probably plays a part in in, too. After all, I do live in California...

I'll do myself and everyone else here a favor and end this rant here, though I could frankly write an entire essay about it.

  5. I haven't had TV service September, so I couldn't watch it if I wanted to regardless of what day it's aired.

Not that I'd want to, mind you. Those overpaid, entitled buttplugs have ruined it all with their political crap. No one watches football for politics and to hear some hypocrite with a seven-figure salary bitch about inequality.

Anytime I found anything like this, I just drank it and prayed for the best. lol I am a very reckless player when given the option to drink random bottles of stuff I find out in the wilderness.

Did you drink the black liquid from the pot in the witch's hut?

  7. Like I said, valerian root increases your Dead Eye meter. Similarly, ginseng elixir increases your health meter and aged pirate rum increases your stamina meter.

Honestly, it seems like it would make more sense for valerian root to increase your stamina meter for the reasons Kean stated and instead have the pirate rum increase Dead Eye, but who knows why Rockstar went this way.

Edit: No, valerian root, ginseng elixir, and aged pirate rum can only be found throughout the game world.

Was thinking the same thing when I read the OP. I mean they have done it for other games, why now toss some love to us RDR fans? I don't collect these but I would certainly get one of John and Arthur.

Micah would be the real best seller.

This is quite old - BUT - I came across this as well online in the Blue Marsh area, was a birds nest with "collectible eggs" - said to use bow and arrow or varmint rifle to get it out

Yeah, great way to get eggs - shoot them with a rifle. 🤣

This is true.  When prepared for this challenge, it's really quite straightforward (the right type of arrow helps as you're not concerned with the quality of the pelt).  It's getting attacked by a cougar when you're riding someplace else that scares you from time to time.

Believe it or not, I actually got three perfect pelts out of it. lol

SAME! I hated doing these. For some reason, I had to be so precise with these kills or they didn't count too.

The kill doesn't seem to count unless the scavenger is actually eating on the corpse when it happens.

Really not as daunting as it sounds, because there are a couple of pretty open locations where cougars spawn fairly reliably. One is the road on the west side of Mount Shann, near where the trapper can be found, and the other is on the west side of the road just north of Beecher's Hope (this one requires access to lower West Elizabeth). I did that challenge just by going to both locations where cougars spawned both times, then saved, reloaded, and went back to both locations where two more cougars spawned. I think I knocked it off in less than an hour.

Honestly, I had more trouble with the challenge for killing scavenger animals feasting on corpses.
