Some good news is they were hiring a technical face developer (they must not have worked on RDR2 online faces) and a few positions for their next generation work.
That could point to a possible LA Noire sequel.

It hasn't triggered at all for me in some time.

Just a reminder to please keep the discussion about the game and related topics. The inappropriate remark has been removed and related references to it. Thanks.
How could you remove it before I got to see it??? 😧

It's integrated for placement of sound sources anywhere in three-dimensional space. Basically it's for virtual reality.
When it comes to VR, it's either QuestWorld or bust for me.

What exactly is 3D audio?

I've already met Tilly in the epilogue, but I have yet to get this letter that John is supposed to get from her afterward. Does anyone know if it can be "kick-started"?

I remember reading about a romance between Arthur and Sadie Adler that was cut. About 80gb worth, sounds like a possible DLC.
The Arthur/Sadie romance been suspected, but never actually confirmed. Most suspect it based on things like Arthur showing concern over Sadie smoking, something he doesn't do with Karen, Mary-Beth, or any of the other female members of the gang.
I wouldn't hold my breath for any cut content serving as DLC, though. Especially story-based DLC, especially. I don't believe RDR2 will ever get a story DLC like RDR and GTA IV did, simply due to Rockstar having been bitten by the online bug beginning with GTA V.
-
Let's assume for a moment that it is real and ask ourselves why would Rockstar be actively trying to silence the post? They've been fairly open about content cut from games in the past (the GTA Wiki has pages devoted to content cut from those games), so why be so secretive all of a sudden? Nothing on that list could be as scandalous as, say, GTA: SA's Hot Coffee mini game. Even a story arc of Arthur being bisexual (probably the most outlandish thing on the list) would probably get Rockstar a few pats on the back from social justice groups that harp about that kind of thing. Nothing here is really what one could consider foundation shaking. If anything, it just shows that Rockstar was far more ambitious in RDR2's development than anyone thought.
So the poster's notion that Rockstar is trying to keep him quiet is, IMO, absurd because nothing here actually makes them look bad. That, in turn, kind of hurts the poster's credibility.

I mostly just stick with customized versions of the default gunslinger (Arthur) and Cowboy (John) outfits. Sometimes I'll wear the more wacky head wear from time to time just to hear the reactions from the gang, though.

No, he's referring to the Borchardt C93, which becomes unlocked in gun stores after the mission "The Joys of Civilization".

I never really was into the Walking Dead actually. I liked the first two seasons, but after that I don't know it didn't really spark my interest. Which is a perfect example of taste preference. The show is scored amazing and tons of people seem to call it a really great show, but for some it's just not my type of show, I don't know, maybe I'll give it another go. We'll see.
The fifth season was the last really great one, but it isn't by any means a bad show as of the last (ninth) season. With the exception of season 7 (which was pretty boring save for the first and last episodes, IMO), I'd put it in the "good" to "pretty good" area.
Anyway, that was really just a joke on my part, not an attempt to start discussing TWD here. I'm fairly sure I'm the only zombie genre fanatic here right at the moment. So by all means, everyone, ignore me and go back to discussing all the games and thrones. 😊

Walkers? Don't worry, Rick Grimes will handle that situation.

Fair enough, not everyone has interest in that kind of genre.
The genre isn't an issue, I'm a big fan of Robert E. Howard's Conan and Kull stories which fall under the same sword and sorcery genre and I've been wanting Ubisoft to make a Conan game using Assassin's Creed as a template for years. Maybe it's just a matter of Westeros being a completely fictional realm in comparison to the Hyborian and Thurian Ages being fictional epochs in our Earth's prehistory even if the science there is a little iffy.
It's honestly hard to remember exactly why the show didn't click due to it having been so long ago now.

Although I agree the petition is ridiculous, George RR Martin has not written the final book, so the last season was completely led by the producers. They had no story to follow so made it up themselves.
That just goes back to what I said about it being the writer's story to tell, that writer just wasn't GRRM this time. Making a TV show out of an ongoing book or comic series, especially something that's going to be as expensive a production as GoT, is always risky because the TV show is almost certainly going to end before the original publication, resulting in either unresolved plot points or a show-exclusive conclusion.
I wonder if the producers considered asking GRRM to aid in writing the final season? Or did they do that and he declined?
But the notion that HBO is going to remake the final season is absolutely bonkers, though. I can just imagine the bean counters at HBO, or whatever company owns HBO, looking at that demand and thinking, "Are these people crazy?"

Is there anything solid out there to suggest a new Bully is being made? At this point, it's beginning to look like Rockstar's own counterpart to Half-Life 3.

And mentioned here, by me.

That petition is ridiculous. It's ultimately the writer's story to tell and we're just along for the ride. Speaking as someone who likes to write, I'm totally open to constructive criticism, but anyone who tries to outright dictate how a story I'm telling unfolds knows where they can go.
-
Appreciate you guys dealing with that last round of spam.

Yeah, some of the stuff on that list takes the realism aspect too far in a game that some argue is already too realistic, though that's a debate for another topic.
I find it funny that he acknowledges using the Volcanic pistol even though it's rare, but mentions the Springfield M1903, FN-Browning 1903 (I'm assuming he means the same "Hi-Power Pistol" from RDR1 and not the Browning Hi-Power, which would be an even more hideous anachronism), and Luger P08 having been planned in a previous entry. I'm not totally up to square on the development of the FN-Browning off the top of my head, but the Springfield wasn't even prototyped until 1900, the year after the Arthur's portion of the game is set. The Luger was designed in 1898, but I don't think it would have been easily attainable in 1899 even if it was commercially available by that time. Or maybe Arthur had access to the same time machine that the MACV-SOG troops in CoD: Black Ops had which allowed them to get guns that didn't exist yet, I don't know.
Still, it would have been funny to see Miss Grimshaw knock Karen out, though. 🤣

I saw the first episode when it premiered. Didn't click and I never watched it again.

Deceased gang members' loyalties (spoilers)
in Red Dead Redemption 2
Posted · Edited by Parzival
Had they survived to see it, where do you think the loyalties of Sean, Lenny, Hosea, and Kieran would have fallen when the gang finally split? I feel like Hosea would side with Dutch, Lenny and Sean with Arthur, and Kieran would cut and run.
