That's essentially why I never bothered trying them. I find the cheap ass $5 "hot and ready" pizzas from little caesars perfectly acceptable.

I went with the pepperoni "loaded pan", so I'm expecting this to be the best frozen pizza I've had. But if I'm going to spend the $8.50, I'll get a freshly cooked pizza.

THIS is why I stock up on the Totino's Party Pizzas!! They're A BUCK EACH!!!  Eat THREE, fer'cryssake!!

I spotted these on sale today so I picked one up. Still more than I'd like to spend on frozen pizza, but I figured it was probably worth it for $6.

As did I. But mine was $7. I do agree with @BropolloCreed79 - they ARE quite tasty, but I could have paid .99 cents more and gotten a fresh Large 3-topping from Pizza Hut or Domino's. I was glad to have tried the Screamin' Sicilian, and my kiddos liked playing with the cardboard mustaches - but next time, I think I'll just pay the extra buck.

I'm very happy that Red Dead Redemption II has a single protagonist, character switching in Grand Theft Auto V was fun but I never developed any empathy or interest in any of the three protagonists because I was constantly switching between them.

Couldn't agree more. Three was just too many, especially considering one was a complete psychopath. I would have rather only played as Michael, then assisted the other two with their missions. If they HAD to switch characters, I would have rather Michael get hospitalized (or even killed), and you have to CHOOSE whether you proceed as Franklin or Trevor -- at least until Michael recovered.

Again, I'm not against playing as another character when the main character is unavailable or eliminated, but I did not care for the, "Hmm, I think I'll be Franklin now"-style of playing. But they FORCED you to play as these other players or else you couldn't complete the missions in the game.

I'll say it again -- I won't mind it if we play as Morgan for 90% of the game, then (AFTER HIS DEATH, or retirement, or whatever) you finish up as Marston. That's a necessity, rather than an option. Almost like a tribute to the fallen player, instead of "Okay, let's go huff some gasoline with Trevor now."  😒

I appreciate it, but I honestly don't see this lasting. I didn't want to quit. I just recently moved out on my own and I'm still figuring out my finances. This is all totally new for me, so the extra $150+/month expense (cartons are are over $100 here so I had to drive out of county to get them for ~$70) is worth cutting out for now. I guess I should say "I stopped smoking". We'll see how it goes. At the very least, I won't be smoking until I know I can afford it. Still, it's all I can think about at times lol

The way I quit was, I switched to a pipe. Yeah, like a tradinional "grandpaw pipe."

I bought a cheap one, and pipe tobacco is mega-cheap. It gave me some fulfillment for smoking, but it was more maintenance to fill it, light it, keep it clean, tote it around. I started smoking less and less because of that. After awhile, I just stopped wanting to fool with it anymore and mess up my pipe that was clean.

Might try that. Worked for me. (and hey! You'll look sophisticated!)

    I also quit smoking.

HEYYYYY!! Good on ya, brother!! You just extended your life by many years! I smoked for 13 years and finally quit 16 years ago. Sure, I'll still have a cigar on campouts a few times a year, but that's the extent of it.

I'll tell ya: it'll really suck for about a year. Then, the smell of cigarette smoke (especially in peoples' clothes) will NAUSEATE you. It's awful, and I'm embarrassed to know I walked around smelling like that.

Proud of ya, Chief. Keep on it.

Had to call in sick today, I've got one of the worst fevers i have ever had :(

I woke up shivering, coughing, stomach was on fire, and myhead was spining like crazy. Got my phone and called in explaining why i couldn't go in today, afterwards i tried to go back to sleep. No chance of that happening, so i got up. Had as much breakfast as i could, got a quick shower. Done the usually stuff like brush teeth, shave etc. Got dressed and I've just been siting in my house all day, dying from this fever, my boyfriend tried to take a day off so he could take care of me, but his asshole boss wasn't having none of it.

That's been my day so far, i guess you can say I should be happy i got out of doing a days work. But dealing with a fever was not on my schedule.

That stinks. Sorry to hear it, Fred. What do you do for a living?

    Jicama is awesome

Oh? Can it do a roundhouse kick? Does it bleed beer? Will it be your wingman in a karaoke bar? Does it cover for you at work when you wake up in some back alley?

    Define "awesome".

I know in the beginning, a lot of us were thinking we may be playing as multiple gang members in this one. This was partially based on GTA V's success and the knowledge of RDR2 being completely related and revolved around Dutch's gang. Knowing now that we will only be playing as Arthur, how do you feel about it?

Call me nuts, but I don't read this as "We will only be playing as Arthur."

Ye, I suspect we'll be Arthur for most of the game (if not all), but remember in RDR1 - At the end, after John's death, you played as Jack. And there were other missions to perform.

Also, John never once mentions Arthur in RDR1. I suspect that's because he's dead in 1911.

I wouldn't be shocked to have Arthur gunned down in the beginning of the third act, and to finish up as a younger Marston.

Yes of course. They can focus more on the story of Arthur and make it hopefully better in that way

Howdy @MementoMori.  Welcome to the forums!

Hangings aren't that big of a deal. I mean we can put people on train tracks so to me, a hanging isn't that bad.

I am not sure if they would add it or not because of the stigmas attached to it (suicide and racism) but given that they have so many other ways of killing people in these games, they should allow it.

Well, honestly, there are stigmas with almost everything lately. I very much doubt an edgy company like Rockstar wants to deal with the criticism which comes with conveniently ignoring certain aspects of history simply because they're not politically correct today. Like the guff schools are getting for pulling books like Tom Sawyer and To Kill A Mockingbird from their libraries.

I'm usually the same way, with the caveat that I'm on a diet right now and I only eat once a day (that works, let me tell you).  So, I tend to go "full throttle" that one time a day when I do.

    Breakfasttime?

I'm a disgusting pig who misses the days of the old Bigfoot pizzas from Pizza Hut.  Yes, I would eat a whole one in one sitting.

This is what you want.  DiGiorno may have one of the best sauces, but for overall taste, I love me some "Screamin' Sicilian".

Looks good, but like @Truth, I'm a cheap SOB. But I may have to try one once. What store sells them?

Those are WAAAAYYYY too small for me. Not bad, but more of a snack than anything (certainly wouldn't feed a party).

That's why you get THREE, dude! C'maaaan, keep up!

. . . and at a buck a piece, how could you complain?

    Mama Cozzi from aldi

I like those. My favorite of all time (and my guilty pleasure) are those damn Totino's Party Pizzas. I sprinkle them with Italian seasoning and fennel seed, bake them up, and it's an instant 10-minute walk through paradise.

In fact, I like little more than when I get to stay home from work and Mrs. Skunk and the Skunklings all are out of the house for the day. I stock up on those pizzas, make THREE of them throughout the day, then binge-watch The Office, MacGyver, and Westerns on Netflix all day.

I love my family. But on those days, I'm kinda sad when they come home.  😏

Had some frozen pizza for dinner earlier. I can't remember the brand it was, never heard of it and grabbed it cause it was on sale. I regret not getting more cause they sold out of them now. It tasted like it was made from scratch like the pizzas my grandfather made me as a kid.

    What brand was it?

  15. I actually have a rather grim hope about this game. It involves two game dynamics that actually existed in the original game:

    • lasso/hogtie
    • "Put victim on horse"

In the original game, you could only lay the "victim" across the horse's butt.

Suppose in this game if you could put your "victim" on the saddle of a horse (maybe even yours), and if you find a tree, you can throw the rope over a branch, tie a noose around the guys neck, and even slap the horse's butt to execute the poor you-know-what.

Yes, it's grim. But it might actually also add a GREAT feature to the game - coercion.

Meaning you could also use it as a tactic to get information out of people. Tie them up, put 'em on their horse, string them up, and threaten to swat the horse if they don't talk.

Whether or not you actually DO swat the horse afterward is up to you. And your Honor goes up or down accordingly.

I know it's grim, but hangings were a huge part of the Old West. (especially in the Romantic retellings). Would that not be an awesome feature??
