  1. Got my bounty up to 1500, but died before I could get the screenshot (I got stuck outside)...

    image?url=MSVnmBUo_fHjbLYMjAEUQ_QLQhZ8X.

So many bodies, I needed 2 screenshots. I know I started with full repeater ammo, and I know I had under 300 bullets by the end of it (even after running through the corpses to resupply). There were at least 100 bodies.

All of this was because I got mad about a stranger mission that keeps popping up but remains locked for me... I got frustrated and decided to try and rob the bank next door (after saving of course). Apparently that wasn't an option either, so I just lined myself up to shoot the lawmen as they entered. It was pretty entertaining to watch them struggle to climb over the stack in the doorway, not so entertaining trying to get myself out...

    Orchids

These are listed separately here because the orchids are also part of a bigger quest available after completing The Gilded Cage in Chapter 4. Head to a large ornate hotel and restaurant at an intersection just north of Saint Denis to find Algernon Wasp in a greenhouse in the backyard. As part of the quest Duchesses and Other Animals, he will ask you to gather several rare items, including the orchids.

Note that these can be collected before talking to Algernon Wasp but cannot be sold. Most can be spotted at eye level on trees—keep an eye out for vines leading up to the blossom. Many orchids can be found while hunting for Vanilla Flower. Keep in mind that using Eagle Eye will be less effective than with other plants; the white spores are not as strong and do not have as far of range, meaning you’ll need to be much closer to spot them.

    Moccasin Flower Orchid
identified by the yellow pouch like petal

    Queen’s Orchid
    a rare and valuable plant

According to the Compendium, “is native to swampland areas and can be found growing in Bayou Nwa, Lemoyne.” It is among the prettiest of the orchids, with bulbous purple and white curled petals. It is among the few orchids that can be found out in the open growing from the ground. Look for it all around the banks of Lagras Lakay outside of Saint Denis.

    Rat Tail Orchid

    identified by their long petals

According to the Compendium, these orchids “can often be found growing on rocks and along stream banks of Bayou Nwa, Lemoyne”, both from the ground and on trees, unlike most other specimens. The petals are white or cream colored, and are splayed out in a way that slightly resembles pine needles. A large group of the flowers can be found all over from Bluewater Marsh down to Bayou Nwa outside of Saint Denis.

    Sparrow’s Egg Orchid
identifiable by the petals that form the shape of an egg

According to the Compendium, “the common habitats for these flowers are damp forest grounds and along stream banks across Roanoke Ridge, New Hanover” and they have a bulbous white center that resembles an egg. They can be found scattered all over Annesburg, north of Saint Denis.

Yeah, the exotics are a pain mostly for finding those Orchids ugh.

This map might help (just select exotics).

if someone could explain the difference between cover and crouching

Crouching is with the left thumbstick, cover is RB (R1 on PS4). You also have to be near something that you can hide behind for cover (rock, wall, crates, etc).

Noice! Congrats! I'm so close. I only need to complete the exotics which are a pain and the herbalist which is equally just as frustrating.

I found most of the exotics from hunting. I think I'm only missing 3-4.

I was kind of pissed when I got to herbalist 9 (I think) where you have to go back and harvest EVERY ****ING PLANT all over again... I decided to work on other challenges instead...

    Ruined my experience

    Really?

Not seeing some rain ruined your experience?

I understand not being happy about it, but saying it ruined your experience...?

Try completely exiting the game. That fixes a lot of bugs.

But hey first day going live I guess these things just happen

That's the entire point of releasing it to a small batch of players first. They disappoint a much smaller crowd if something goes wrong.

Hopefully they can get it fixed today. I'll probably stick to offline for a while anyway, but I know online was the entire reason some people got the game.

That’s it then. I don’t believe it is possible to complete the challenge until the Epilogue.

My attempt on this last night didn't succeed.

I made 3-4 attempts before deciding it wasn't worth the hassle. I figured something later in the story would make travel to Blackwater a little easier.

You unlock the horse fence in chapter 3.  When Dutch has you go to the Grays or the Braithewaits, go to the Braithewaits and do that mission.

I already did that (I'm on chapter 4 now)...

I just finished bandit mission @Volt is talking about.

    Spoiler

Does it have to be a specific fence? I stole 2 horses (and sold them) but didn't get credit for them.

Or do I actually have to choose the "rob" option on them?

First one I shot the guy and just rode the horse over, second one I hopped off my horse onto his (forcing him off of it) and sold it.
