    Try entering the area quietly. I've only gotten this message if I was being hunted, or if I was too loud and spooked the animals.

    Keep in mind they made hunting fairly realistic. The animals react how they actually would IRL (for the most part).

    I found it and immediately assumed there were more of them around. I was disappointed to find out that there's absolutely nothing special about it. Would've been fun to hunt those.

    I had a feeling something like that would work. I played around with it for a few minutes before I gave up, but I was trying with random people riding past me on the road... Didn't help that they were moving. I'll give this a shot later, seems pretty straightforward.

    Yeah I didn't have any trouble with the other gambler challenges. This one just makes no sense...

    The ****ing tomahawk throw is stupid too. How the **** am I supposed to know I'm 80 yards away? I (somehow) managed to get 78 yards, but I don't recall killing anything with that throw...

    That's what I'm thinking. I got there the first try. But didn't notice I had to stay dry... Everyother time they've killed me as I crossed the border...

    I have plenty of other challenges to work on. I got all the treasure hunts (explorer challenges) done earlier. Spent some time on herbalist (couldn't find that damn berry), and got a couple Hunter/survivalist done.

    It's been a productive day. Taking a break now before I go over to my parents.

    @BropolloCreed79 one of these days I'll get around to giving it a shot. Hope they're delicious!

    @RustyLovesBeefarino not too worried about it. I'll either do a second play through, or focus on the online mode.

    Legend of the East Satchel

    All dreamcatchers found

    All rock carvings found

    All accessable dinosaur bones

    All accessable legendary fish/animals

    And now I'm trying to work on some challenges. Might decide to go hunt down all the special items next instead. The horseman #9 challenge is a bitch right now...

     

    There is so much this game has to offer besides the base story. 

    Edit: damn, I should've made a pie...

    I wouldn't worry about it unless I was stuck at like 99.9% and couldn't find anything else I was missing.
    You could always goes back and try to catch it again if you're concerned about it.

    I caught the muskie yesterday and dropped it. Luckily it got caught on a rock and I was able to retrieve it. I sent it in (and checked everything to verify) but it's still not crossed off. I'm guessing it's a bug with dropping the fish before mailing it. As long as everything says you've caught it, I would assume you got credit for it (especially since you got the reward).

    I spent days (in game) trying to catch one of the legendary fish. Eventually I heard Gavin's friend wandering around nearby, and decided to go say hi to him. I followed him up near a waterfall and tried to cast from there, caught the legendary in like 10 seconds.

    Coincidence? Or is he secretly there to give you subtle hints?

    I think we all agree that it should be possible (with the option to turn it off). It's the future of gaming and we'll get there eventually. They both (Sony and Microsoft) just need to put their egos aside and accept that cross play is the way to go. Then we would buy consoles based on our own preferences rather than what system our friends have.

    Can't say for sure because I was doing a lot of hunting for a while (and you're making me second guess myself)...

    I know it's been at least a few days in game since I've sold any pelts and all I had left were perfect (wanted to bring them to Pearson but I haven't gone back to camp in a LONG time) so I'll check at some point.
