Then you want to get the Legend of the East satchel which gives you max storage

just wanted the one that allows for more small pelts/skins.

I strongly advise that you go for the Legend of the East Satchel. Holding 99 of each item feels like a cheat code.

It's only going to make the rest of the game easier and more enjoyable. As soon as I found out about it, I stopped working on the story and went straight to hunting. I'm still on chapter 2, but I'll never have to leave loot behind again. I can hunt/fish for days without worrying about space (really helping with animal fat). All in all, it's a worthwhile investment of your time.

It would be nice if it would break down what the regular satchel holds vs the upgraded ones?

The upgrades are for certain sections of your satchel (one upgrades the tonics section to 15 of each item, one for your kit, one for your ingredients, etc). The Legend of the East Satchel (final upgrade) lets you hold 99 of each item (in ALL sections). You need all the other upgrades to unlock the last one.

Assassins Creed Odyssey is one of the best looking and crispest game on the ps4 pro.

I believe it. I actually bought AC origins just because of how great it looked. Barely played it, but it looked amazing. I can only imagine Odyssey looks even better.

    I already have it

Respect. It was frustrating as **** for me (at times), but also a lot of fun (and totally worth it).

They can last you a while if you don’t break em

I've only broken one so far. I can't imagine I'll ever need 40 lol

    honorable discounts

Got my honor up that high passively by fishing. I found a spot where I was able to toss them back, but they would land on the shore and die. Free fish!

I didn’t know you could carry more than 3 lures.

That might not include the lures... I got the Legend of the East Satchel, I can hold 99 of MOST things, but I'm not sure yet what isn't included. Lures might be part of the exception.

What fishing spot(s) have been most profitable to you

I haven't done much fishing, mostly hunting (for that satchel) so far. I strongly advise unlocking that first. I can stock up on fish (or almost anything else) for days and just unload it all at once.

    when you come across...

Is that part of a mission?

    I had a similar encounter:

    Spoiler

There was a boy wearing a sailors outfit locked in the basement of the gun shop (forgot which town) that called out for me. After talking to him, I was able to confront the shop owner about it and he lead me downstairs.

    Spoiler

After some dialogue (and freeing the boy) you have the option to kill the shop owner (which I clearly did).

That was kind of ****ed up and it seemed like a really odd/unnecessary addition.

Is it just one of those random encounters?

If you get the reinorced item sets from one completing one challenge you get an extra tank, it depends upon which challenge as to which tank (so horseman is health).  You need threes relevant sets for the next tank (so health is horseman, sharpshooter and weapons expert).

Well I now have a reason to go "tryhard" on those challenges...

    Thanks for the info!

So you’re saying I should put my mask on during conflict situations??

I've made it a habit. Like @Kormath said, you shouldn't get a bounty for killing a rival gang, but you will get a bounty for looting. Again, wearing the mask will keep them from knowing who did it. You can easily just ride off and not have any issues.

Here's the list of crimes/bounties (taken straight out of the guide):

    Spoiler

    Animal Cruelty: $5

    Arson: $5

    Assault: $5

    Bank Robbery: $25

    Cheating: $5

    Disturbing the Peace: $5-$10

    Intimidation: $5

    Jail Break: $25

    Kidnapping: $10 ($15 for lawmen)

    Looting: $5

    Murder: $15 ($20 for lawmen)

    Robbery: $5-$10

    Rustling: $5

Theft: $5 ($10 for horse theft)

    Train Robbery: $50

    Trespassing: $5

    Vandalism: $5

    Unarmed Assault: $5

    If you do get caught:

For the little things, just pay it off to avoid bounty hunters. For bigger bounties, I spend all my money and turn myself in. This gets rid of the bounty and doesn't cost you anything more than a couple minutes of cutscenes.

and I think small game arrows will work, one shot to the head (?)

I think it was the varmint rifle...

You can study the animal, which will allow you to see the quality of the animal and the best way to kill it.

    Just now, Firestormfan89 said:

How 'bout them elk skins? I could probably find them too, but what techniques work to bring them down, intact?

Use dead eye to highlight the vital spots on an animal. Shoot for the red and you'll get the perfect pelts easily.

Hey Rockstar - hint: there’s enough to do in this game without all the distractions of constantly being wanted for SOMETHING

Hey @MachineGhost - you can avoid getting a bounty by wearing a mask (or your bandana)...

    10 minutes ago, MachineGhost said:

Arthur’s the one that gets reported as being the perp

If you wear a mask/bandana, the bounty will be for and unknown person (not Arthur). Either run away, or get somewhere you can hide (if in town) and change your clothes/remove your mask so they won't know it was you.

the images look different when quoted, at least to me look at the 2nd image- the first one and then where it's quoted

@lonley22 I do see it a little bit in the grass now, but it's a very slight difference that I probably wouldn't notice while playing. That first example (that I said was blurry as ****) would be horrible to play with though. If THAT is what you're seeing, then I completely understand you're frustration. The rest don't really look too bad, but I still totally understand the complaint.

That comparison shot helped a lot, so thanks for that. You're right though, it looks more like my regular xbox than the image taken from the x.

That image is blurry as ****. Your examples, not so much...

and why this .. still on ps4 pro.. looks way better?

Because those are all pre-programmed scenes (except for maybe the last one) and completely different games with completely different programmers...

A cutscene graphic is not going to be the same as regular gameplay. Show me some examples of people actually playing these games and I'd probably agree.

I'm not saying there isn't a problem (I clearly admitted that 1 page back) I'm saying those examples look just like they do on my xbox.

Alcohol can do that for you, too.

Although I wouldn't be the only one, they frown upon that here at work...

Barely doing anything all day is hardly a problem, just as long as I'm not drunk.
