Press rb over your targets then rt when you're ready to shoot. Keep in mind, this also depends on the gun. You'll only get one shot out of a rifle with dead eye.

That'll work fine with many animals, but good luck doing that with a cougar, panther, badger, beaver, etc. The more difficult animals will take a lot more effort (usually).

I can't believe the realism sometimes... I don't play hunting games, but I can't imagine they come close to this. Hell, I came across 2 wolves playing yesterday. Made for an easy hunt (both pristine too), but what other game would you encounter something like that in? Incredible.
I've spent more time hunting than playing story missions.

Both of those are VERY easy to do. To be fair, I've only killed a few of them. I'll probably start hunting them down tonight.

My point was, it takes more than just punching someone on accident to get a high bounty.

This image just gets funnier the more I look at it. Next to that chair, there's a random leg sticking straight up. There's a dude in the bottom left without a face, and another in the middle with some black smudge instead of eyes and a nose.
Edit:in the first image, it looks like I just farted on that corpses head (and enjoyed it). He has a really smug look on his face lol

I haven't done too much with the horses, and I'm still in the beginning of chapter 2. That was just one thing I remember reading in the guide.

No problem. That was one of those things that never got explained.
You can also set a waypoint on your map and go into cinematic view to have your horse do ALL the work for you. Just get it on the path and tap "A" a few times to get it going, it will make the rest of the trip for you (sorry if it was you that told me that). You might miss a few things, but this is great for delivering things without getting side tracked.

I have noticed that my horse's ass will stay bloody from a pelt though. Well, I'm hoping it's from the pelts and not my ass...

You can, just don't guide the horse. He/she will dodge between trees pretty well until you touch the joystick.
Took me a while to figure out why I wasn't struggling with that as much as others here, but that's it.
