I don't think that one is accessible for me yet, but I'm getting the guide today. Sort of cheating, but I don't want to miss anything.
I took a break from the story (only at 33%) to hunt/fish. Never thought I'd enjoy hunting/fishing in a video game so much.

@Alex just curious, do you completely exit the game or just turn off your system?
Have you tried killing your horse? (DO A MANUAL SAVE FIRST)

I've noticed this happens when you're in a mission (doesn't sound like this is it for you), or bounty hunters are nearby.

If you don't care about having every gun, then it really doesn't matter. You'll find other guns along they way.

Just tap down on the d pad and it shows everything. Holding down gives you minimap options.

The games are all the same, just with different players.
They reskin these games, add some minor feature nobody really cares about, slap a $60 price tag on it, and make it seem likes it's some incredible new game.

Satchel upgrades. I read a story the other day that says you can hold 99 of each item (instead of 5) with the best satchel. You need to make all of them to unlock it.
Once I found that out I stopped doing missions and started obtaining the pelts needed.
You can also upgrade your saddle (but I haven't found that option yet).

It seems if you miss one it will happen again later on. I had a prisoner walk up on me while I was riding 3 times now. First 2 I shot him in the face, third time I helped him and

I fail to see a downside to just dying after killing a legendary to avoid the travel. Even if you don't get paid, it saves a lot of time.

Sure, you can install the game as many times as you want. You still need the play disc though.

I found a spot last night where I was able to fish without being bothered by bounty hunters! My bounty is at 325 there now and if I walked further down the shore they would interfere.
Best part about fishing last night, I found a way to get honor for tossing the fish back, but have it land on the shore. This way, the fish dies and you can pick it up for dead eye xp. Seems only 10 can pile up though, so you still have to pick them up once in a while.
My honor is almost maxed. I didn't figure this out until towards the end of my fishing trip. I also started catching fish very quickly by slowly reeling it in and flicking it every few turns (dirty). Not sure if that was ever explained, I tend to space out when people talk...
Edit: Almost forgot this one: You can view the in-game time by opening the menu. That pocket watch is actually showing the time, not just "there to be there" like I assumed.

I'm guessing you might have already tried, but do a manual save and exit the game.
In general, completely exiting a game when you turn of your console helps prevent a lot of bugs.
If that doesn't work, maybe try killing yourself (in the game, NOT IRL).
