Was the picture of their mother still hanging on the wall?

They stash your cash behind the painting.

Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention and saved over it... Didn't notice a painting, but I checked everything that was glowing in eagle eye.

I believe it is a pig farm just North and slightly west of the Blue Water Marsh.  South of the train tracks but not by much.

    And thanks!

Sorry for the delay on this, but I finally got around to it this morning.

I went back to the pig farm as soon as I was able (just after the epilogue begins) and the place is long abandoned... Searched the whole house and all I could find was  an opened snake oil and some cocaine gum.

...btw, not too sure why you were asking me this question. I wasn't agreeing with the OP.

Just recalled a discussion from another thread. I guess it was @BropolloCreed79 that was getting his kid into it. Either way, I remember you two discussing gun safety and whatnot, that's why I asked.

Edit: and I have no "real" knowledge of gun safety

This is annoying to say the least.  Its all well and good to require you to **** your weapon, but the game as it sounds now, magically un-***** your weapon after you perform the slightest action outside of running or jumping.  Climb a fence?, re-****, climb a box?, re-****, switch weapon back and forward?, re-****, drink a tonic?, re-****.  The game needs to remember the cocking of weapons and only require a re-**** after a bullet is fired.

How does that not make sense to you?

You make sure your gun is safe before doing something else. @Kean_1 what would you do if your kid had a gun cocked and loaded and chose to start jumping fences with it?

  5. Depends at what point in the game... Dutch and/or Micah definitely.

Oh and that shop owner that had a kid in a sailor's outfit chained in the basement. I did kill him, but he always comes back...

I know there are a few more...

On losing your cash ... I have not tried this yet myself as I am still in Chapter 5.  (I made it halfway through chapter six and reverted back to a previous save point to redo some things I wanted to complete as Arthur first)  So, if there is anyone who can confirm this, please let us know.

But rumor has it that if you go as Arthur to visit the incest twins just before the end of Arthur's story and let them rob you, you can then go back to them later as John and steal back all of the money they previously stole from you as Arthur.  It is supposedly still there behind the painting. Allowing you to get back most or all of the cash you would have lost if it had still been on Arthur when he dies. Since you lose it anyway, it seems like it might be worth a shot to see if it works.  My thoughts anyway.

I made a save just before starting the last mission of chapter 6. I loved that mission, so I'd be more than happy to try this out for you. Can you post a screenshot of the location? If not, I'll just look it up later.

Its  not a bug. Youtube has many clips of the same thing. It clearly shows buy for gold, then you are prompted to go to psn store to spend REAL money then when it brings you back the option to buy for gold is gone. Hourly there is more youtube clips of the same thing from different ppl. I think the scumbag business side of Red dead should expect a large law suit coming and all that money they made to disappear along with the player base.

I highly doubt they would do something like that intentionally. This isn't Gun Media we're talking about.

I'm not denying that it's happening, I just seriously doubt it's intentional. Send in a report (like everyone else should also be doing) and they'll figure it out. You don't need to threaten a lawsuit lol

i have a question, when looking at saddles and having the option to buy for gold then sent to psn store to buy gold for REAL money, then come back and the option to buy for gold is gone, is that fraud?

I don't think I would jump straight to fraud... Sounds like a bug, not an intentional "**** you".

Try restarting the game. If that doesn't work, contact customer support.

Holding Dpad down gives you the mini-map options,  tapping down shows the time of day, temp, money etc.

tapping up whistles for the horse,  or raises your gun in the air if you're aiming (for warning shots etc.).  Holding D pad up does nothing.

One of those days... Thanks lol

Strange...nothing happens when i press the left dpad arrow-alsp I read you're supposed to hold the down dpad arrow to see the temperature? that never works for me  either. I wonder if theres something wrong with my controller?

Tapping left should pull up your tasks, holding it opens your journal.

Tapping down will show your cores, the time, the temp, your location, etc.

    Holding right opens your satchel.

You should be able to use the d pad to navigate your console menus, give that a try to see if it might be the controller. If you can, try another controller as well.

Reminded me of my grandpa. He was a taxidermist and we always enjoyed checking out his barn. The 2 things I'll always remember (besides his old school bb gun arcade game) is the mounted lion, and the squirrel shooting a machine gun.

    You read that right.
