Good job explaining the wording @BropolloCreed79, that sure looks like they asked a lawyer how to say it lol
More to cover my own posterior. The last thing anyone wants is to be misconstrued.

Yeah, but if you accidentally shoot a cop that get in the way. You will feel the full wrath of the law in St. Denis. I happened to be riding through and still had my gun drawn, bumped another rider. Shots was exchanged and as civilians ran for their lives, a cop walked out into and got shot. POOF! They spawned everywhere. There was a couple players nearby that got shot at, I was feeling really bad. I got outside of town, crossed 2 bridges and thought that I was scott free. Headshot dead. Apparently, St. Denis has a S.W.A.T. team with a sniper. hehehehe
Have you ever seen a pissed off Cajun with a firearm? May as well start sizing up caskets at that point.

1st you claim you never shoot 1st , then you did.
As Grand Moff Tarkin would describe it, a "preemptive retaliatory strike."
I highly recommend PS4 players group up because in my experience, it's troll-ville. I've been offline for a few weeks because I'm focusing on story mode and challenges, but at some point, I'll sit down, redo my character for the fifth or sixth time, and finally start investing time in the online.

Absolutely. I find myself using 1st person mode a LOT when encountering other players. It helps my aim considerably.

This list is also in the Challenges thread

Ability to alter appearance
I can practically guarantee this will be implemented... for a small fee, of course!

Apart from changes to the map blips/radar, I want this feature the most.
On 12/2/2018 at 4:29 PM, Moosh89 said:Hotels: Renting a room should be available in major towns/cities. This gives the player the ability to "rest" in a nice bed for a few seconds (60 tops) to fully restore AND fortify all (gold) cores for a day. You then can change clothes as well.
I can see this, and eventually purchasing buildings in town with illicit businesses at some point.
1 hour ago, KRooKeD KRoW said:I was hoping the outfits we made in single player would be available in online if we had made them ourselves in the story, just maybe a small in-game cash fee as a sort of shipping cost. Then make entirely different sets of craftable gear for online. Just a small way to show off our single player exploits online. Lots of games give something online for people that have completed the story, usually cosmetic, so why not
Because then nobody will buy gold to support microtransactions. When logic fails, follow the money!
In all seriousness, though, this thread is great. Keep the suggestions coming, everyone!

An official statement has been made by R* regarding questions by players about potential online progression resets either during or at the end of Beta.
The Red Dead Online official Beta Status Update can be read here in it's entirety, but I've chosen to sticky the thread and post the relevant portion below to provide as much clarity as possible.
From the release (emphasis mine):
December 4th, 2018 Update:
We appreciate all the continued feedback we are receiving on the Red Dead Online Beta. For players concerned about the potential for progress and stat resets, we currently do not have any plans to reset them as part of the Beta’s rollout. We are currently still working on game stability and economy balancing for an update that we hope to release later this week. Please stay tuned for more news to come.
This is in no way a guarantee as to whether or not R* will reset online progression at the end of Beta--the statement is carefully worded to only cover the Beta's rollout, and NOT the "Gold" or "Live" version of the Red Dead Online experience. I would caution each and every user to take this information under advisement, but to date, I would note that R* has not officially stated a position on the intent for the changeover from Beta to full release.
The only thing the statement clarifies is the intent to avoid a progression wipe during the lifespan of the beta. Once the beta has concluded, we do not know what the current intent of R* is regarding player progression.

I'm approaching it with the mindset of "just for fun" and not progression. I know they will likely wipe everything and they should do since some people can take advantage of glitches.
Good News!

R* is officially "not planning" on wiping progression.

Anything coyote-sized or larger, but smaller than a Bison, this should be your go-to move. Guaranteed to maintain pelt integrity.

I don't mean to make light of the issues involving horse insurance and the online mode, but every "horse" related post (since 99% of them involve misfortune) make me think of this:

Haha. Ever heard of clickbait? Certainly worked on you buddy
My preferred pronoun is "Bro" not "buddy". "Chief" is also acceptable.
Also, a piece of advice: if you're trying to use clickbait to drive views, maybe provide the link in the text and make it "clickable" (as in "click" bait).
What you provided in the OP is more "copy-paste" bait.
Of course, if you had more familiarity with self-promotion, you would have simply embedded the video in your post, like this:

They decided to throw in a motion sensor on the ****ing lights in the bathroom at work. The dumb asses decided to set it for 15 minutes...
Today (for the second time) that ****ing light turned off at the worst time... Of course I can't just wave my hand above the door and trigger it, I have to open the ****ing stall door and step out...
WHO THE **** CAME UP WITH THIS?!?!
I'm about to go tell them to change the time or else they can pay me to go home for my sh*t breaks...
Lol, mix in a salad, bro!
That, or stop browsing the forums while on the can.

If I had to guess, it's akin to a formalized "clan" gaming system, but managed within the RDO experience.
Or, if structured the way the story is, it'd be like being able to track feuds with other posses, which stand in place of Murfees, O'Driscolls, etc...
It's actually brilliant if it's implemented right, and will help with setting up leagues or tournaments around the Showdown mode.

You know what might be fun? Canoeing to those islands off the coast of Lemyone, and sniping people who come at you in a canoe across the water. All you have to do is sit there crouched behind cover, and watch your map. I bet there's tons of knuckleheads who would be foolish enough to keep coming at you. A good rolling block or springfield rifle and auto aim? Easy-peasy!

They had something similar in GTAO didn't they? if memory serves the griefers would get tagged with a wanted level and be a red mark on the map. You got something for killing them, and the law enforcement would also be hunting them as other players were.
Never played GTA V, so I can't opine on what they did or didn't have. The last time I went "all in" on a GTA game was Vice City. Everything else has been pretty derivative, imo.

All seriousness is your guy not underweight
He was until yesterday, when I started inhaling food like five-ten times a "day" in-game. He's now average, and if I take literally three minutes to kill a few critters and cook them (you can save them for a couple of in-game days before they rot/spoil), I have more than enough to keep my weight at average.
I'll play test tonight for more concrete data and see if I can chunk him up a bit, but so far, with minimal effort, I was able to switch from "underweight" to "average" in a few minutes.

Nobody with any sort of conscience or rational ability to think would infer that.
2 hours ago, Harley clark said:But what I hate is the posse that purposely camps on a mission start point and just hides behind sh*t like a coward till some Lone Ranger comes along to do the mission then they all pop out and shoot before he can defend himself then go back to hiding
Which is a very real problem, and could easily be resolved by removing persistent blips on the mini map, or altering them significantly to function more like they do in Single Player or Story Mode. Tagging players or groups on the minimap who have obtained a Wanted Level for a set amount of time (and granting rewards for taking them out) would go a long way to curbing this behavior.

I tried to submit this to the Beta Recommendations link, but it was more than 500 characters.
1. Leave PvP as it is, simply remove the player blips from the map, that would go a long way.
2. If a player kills another player, they are highlighted on the map as hostile for 5 minutes.
3. If that player kills another player during that 5 minutes, they are marked as hostile for 10 minutes with a small bounty.
4. The hostile marker and bounty goes up each subsequent crime.
5. Killing a player marked as hostile with a bounty does not mark you as hostile, in fact, your respect level goes up.
This puts a consequence on senseless PvP and it allows players to exact revenge with impunity and gain some cash.
Change #3 & 4 to "gold" , with separate cool downs for the bounty and the claimer (24 hours for each--you can only get a gold bounty once, or claim a gold bounty once every 24 hours--to prevent exploits gaming the system).
