I would say that is the classy way of building character attachment.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't snicker every time I have Arthur take a bath.  I always opt for "the help", and her hand continually dips into the water near his crotch and lingers.  And Arthur usually sighs contentedly when she does.

    That's close enough for me.

Anyone know where I can get potent predator bait, or blackberries so I can make some?

I find it in a lot of cabins that are out in the woods, of all places.  I wish I remember specifically where, but they're all over the place, and the Potent Bait is almost always by one of the doors.

  3. The game is full of these side quests (which are AWESOME)

    Two I've stumbled across:

    Spoiler

Northwest of Annesburg, there's a Viking burial mound which has a SWEET Viking Axe and Helmet in it.  I found it during a random encounter with a naked man running from a wolf (I killed the wolf but the guy ran off).  The burial mound is hidden in the ground a bit, but I noticed it because the moon hit it just right.  After I looted it and was leaving, a carriage driven by two dudes with a screaming woman and bodies in the back came by.  I don't remember the name of the side quest, but it's basically a Hillbilly Cannibal family.  I've killed 2, and I can't wait to get them all!

    And

    Spoiler

When riding into Valentine from camp, there's a small bridge over a little gully.  Underneath is a dead man that's been disemboweled, and left hanging.  There's graffiti on the rocks that says "Look upon my works".  If you examine the pillars holding up the bridge, one of them has a head tacked up and with a rolled up  note sticking out.  Taking the note starts you on a quest which I imagine involves some sort of serial killer (I'm avoiding spoilers about the quests where I can).

I love these side quests.  Sure they get me off task from whatever I'm working on, but they're so great--and now I have some sick gear from the first spoiler that I use all the time.

I'm in Texas for work, just got to our hotel (finally...) after 9 hours of traveling. I'm setting up my Xbox (of course I brought it!) before we go get dinner, then I'm going to play rdr2 until I fall asleep!

Hopefully we get the job done early tomorrow and I'll have most of the day to play.

May I humbly suggest an economic, period-appropriate option to enjoy RDR2 with?

$16.99 a bottle.  No, it is not refined, nor is it exquisite.  What it is, is damn good, and I definitely can picture Arthur knocking back a few glasses after a long day of collection.

    Just a suggestion.

Then do the mission for Hosea where you rob a carraige, this unlocks the fence where you trade in valuables and craft trinkets.

Thanks for the tip.  I was wondering what to do with the collection of antique pocket watches and wedding rings I was carrying around.  I want the cash.  Like Arthur is so fond of saying: we ain't a damn charity!

    my warhorse is gone.

Have you tried going back to the area where you died?  In my experience, my horse is usually where I left it, even if it's miles away from where I respawn.

Similar thing happens to a lot of folks on the first Bounty Hunter mission.  Without going into spoilers, you end up on the bounty's horse, and taking it back into town.  Even stabling it, your original horse will stay out in the wild back where you dismounted/died.

I've had to go back for my horse countless times when I've had it following me and I've been ambushed or riding while drunk (and fell off and died... yes it's happened more than once).  It happens, but the "main" horse has always been where I left it.

That is weird. You sure it didn't patch it in the background? I know there is a place you can check which version you are on but I can't remember for the life of me where to find it on PS4... Or are you on Xbox?

Mine downloaded the patch in the background on PS4 once I started the install.

Sounds accurate to the guns in that period... I could understand that getting annoying, but it is realistic.

On the repeater rifle and double action revolvers, you have to pull the trigger twice: once to cycle the round into the chamber, and once again to fire.

Brings a whole new meaning to "double tap".

I thought you ordered physical! How do you have it??

GameStop prerung everyone starting at 1500 hours Yesterday.  Then, they lined everyone up by number starting at 2045.  At 2100, they started giving them out if you were paid up.

It took 90 minutes to install, and I was playing by 2300.  Just stopped now at 0400 to get some shut eye so I wouldn't be a complete trainwreck taking my kids to school in three hours.

The Best buy stores had releases at 2100 as well.  A couple of attorneys at work picked it up too.

I'm just over 4 hours in and I'm loving it, I think the pace is brilliant and I am constantly reminded that I haven't even scratched the surface. This game is like a never-ending jawbreaker.

100% agree.  This was well worth the wait.
