And now the trite version of mine:
I like hair metal and having fun. The first time I used "Nothin But A Good Time" as a username, it was two letters too long, so I chopped off the vowels in "Nothin" figuring that word would be the easiest to decipher without vowels. Occasionally hearing someone call me Nathan over a game microphone reminds me that I was wrong. My name is not Nathan...or anything close to it.

God, I miss the '80's. My kids know all the words to that one (and Here I Go Again by Whitesnake, and many MANY others) and I'm not the least bit sorry.
Also:
Time to bust out my Karate pajamas.

Call me immature, you're still paying $60 to simulate murder. You can't be that morally superior.
I don't have a moral high ground on this one. Back in the day, I may or may not have said (somewhat infamously) "look at the t*ts on that flower" when playing Conker Live and Reloaded.

Pretty sure I'm at the IP ban stage...
Doubt it.
What you can do is log in with another browser (chrome, IE/Edge, or Firefox).
The alternate is to remove the cookies or password stored on your system for that site/domain. When I was banned, I had a similar issue, but using a different browser or deleting my browsing history/cookies/password for that site cleared up the issue and I could still browse it. -

Sound familiar @TheHansonGoons @BropolloCreed79?

All because of my trademark snarkiness. I wasn't even mad, I was just disappointed that they couldn't be honest with the real reason I was suspended.
Edit: Note the length of the ban time. Clearly, they have a sense of humor as perverse as mine, so at least there's that.

Still waiting for these pictures with baited breath!
I'm going shopping tonight and tomorrow afternoon to stock up on what I need to get one made for Friday. I took the day off for my birthday, so it's going to be a day of smoking meat and making stromboli and pie.
Edit: There WILL be pictures.

Mine is lifted from the refrain of a piece by a poetry collective formed in the waning years of the prior century which was comprised of Dall, Deville, Michaels, Rockett, Bombilla, and Carretero.
The verses depict both the lament and joy of the working class man as he devotes the entirety of his days to grinding labor whilst he dreams of the release of celebration upon his work's end. While not explicit in the wording, one can draw the implication that the desired recreation achieved as a result of the intensity of his toil is only sweetened by the stark contrast between the dueling yet collaborative tasks.
My choice to select from this composition reflects my own elation upon the arrival of the time where I can lay down my burdens and responsibilities, and can bask in the abandon of my choice of diversionistic pursuits. Additionally, I desired to illustrate my intent to focus on joviality and ribaldry, when employing the selected username, and shy away from more sobering points of focus.
The choice to remove the vowels from the first word, both the O and the I, was my cheeky attempt to separate my use of the verse as a name from the British influences on the culture preceding and proceeding from the era from which it was derived, by having the chant of "oi" excised from the conversation. Though I can appreciate the value of and enjoy those Anglo-centric artists, I chose to celebrate the distinctly American brashness that accompanied the artists at that time.
Jesus. Now mine looks trite:
I needed a fun name with "Bro" in it somewhere from an online gaming group I was part of. I had about six ideas, and this one was the best option.
It also looks good framed against one of the funniest scenes from HIMYM:
And for people who don't understand why that is so funny:
Hopefully my end will be far less tragic than Apollo's.

My brother once said that opening a new video game reminds him of the good old days and the smell of opening his favorite smut magazine: Guilt, loss of time, and the sheer will to avoid reality. I laugh at the time but he has a point. Also, he is about 13 years older than I. I grew up with pr0n being on a screen. lol
See, your brother knows the struggle of hiding his smut. It's too easy for young whipper snappers nowadays.

Red Dead, physical copy allways!. I love the smell of napalm when you open a brand-new-sealed bluray case.
See, I don't necessarily smell napalm when I open a new game.
What I do smell is that manufactured plastic smell that I associate with my local adult bookstore.

I'm not quite sure what to think. On one hand i'm pissed off that they made us wait nearly two months for a gameplay trailer that revealed absolutely nothing that hasn't already been confirmed by previous trailers or hands on previews.
That's pretty much what I expected. They didn't want to reveal too much about the actual story of the game since that's what most of us are here for, but they wanted to give us a small taste to whet our collective appetite. I think we can all get a generalized sense of what the game's aesthetics and tone are going to be, and that's what the trailer was designed to do. I actually watch it with the sound off, just to take in the visuals.
This month is going to be an absolute grind, waiting for RDR2 to come out.

So in my comeback, "Well as long as she is the best candidate for the job, I can understand why you wouldn't let anything else cloud you judgement. "
Hey, we all have our reasons.
I don't vote for the platform or the party. I vote based on the candidate.
Specifically, "do they like beer?"

Crafting is the most over used and inappropriately employed mechanic in modern gaming. Just once, I'd like an immersive Action RPG that didn't require me to kill 6,000 rattlesnakes to make a snakeskin belt.

I just won't buy it, if this is how they treat people.
Reddit does a better job of keeping things chill than the official forums for TD. Hell, if it weren't for @Cokeyskunk, @Truth, and others dragging me here kicking and screaming, I'd be using the RDR2 Official Reddit thread instead.

Video gaming. It's the best way for me to let off steam.
Woodworking has been eating into my gaming time, but there's something so, so satisfying about sanding, staining and slapping a couple of coats of polyurethane on a new piece. I'm wrapping up some butcher block coffee tables for my man cave as soon as I talk to a welder about some customized table legs. I'm thinking rebar, but may go with steel tubes instead, depending on how they look.

I hate the Global events. All I want to do is grind out commendations for TD2, and they go and pull that crap once every four weeks. Toss in a Shield once a month, and half of a month is wasted chasing down cosmetics.
Which build do you use?

As of late, some family members. It seems they just want to bicker and hold grudges and I am to a point where I am sick of hearing about it. I even ignored my own mother for several weeks because she would only call me to complain about my aunt (her sister).
That's the beauty of getting married. You get to choose your family at that point.

I have a close friend, let's call him Bob.
I have known Bob for nearly 10 years. I consider him a close friend and someone I really care for, like a brother really. Bob has a problem though. Shortly after I first met him and we began to hang out, I found out he had a drinking problem. Needless to say we had several falling outs over the years but he ended up joining an AA group and has been sober for 3 or so years now.
Well, I recently found out that he started drinking again earlier this year and he was covering it up. His girlfriend accidentally spilled the beans on that one. I haven't confronted him about it yet because I am really not sure how to handle it. I know he is was a liar and a lot of it was down to alcohol and being afraid but after 10 years of friendship, you'd think I would be worth his honesty and telling me he slipped up.
As someone who has seen substance abuse up close, there isn't anything you personally, can do about Bob's issues, which all stem from his addiction.
You have two choices. You can either continue being Bob's friend, or cut him out of your life completely. You cannot force someone battling substance abuse into an expected behavior or diversion--they have to want to do it for themselves. It's not an easy decision to make, because if you want to be his friend, but he doesn't want to change, there's nothing you can do to change that.

Not that shocking considering PSN does next to nothing to deter names on their platform. Hell, for years on Xbox Live, I was "MaskedDebator"
