Honestly, I wouldn't mind micro-transactions as long it doesn't hurt the game. If there is micros for clothing, and special wearable items, that doesn't involve the game, then personally its fine by me!

ROCKSTAR GAMES SHOULD TAKE TIME AND PATIENCE TO DEVELOP RED DEAD ONLINE.
Red Dead Online will always be growing and getting better as time goes on, but I understand what you mean by this.

I personally think it's definitely up there.
Also, I moved this thread to the Red Dead Redemption 2 category.

Doing dinner midday with my mother and watch the Chicago Bears game, and then after going up to visit my Dad, and most likely stay the night. Should be a very busy Thursday that's for sure.

After spending the last few days doing little other than hunting, during which I discovered an empty house that looks brand new (could be an event area I missed when I rushed through the story, or could be one of the homes we can buy online), I began thinking it would be cool if we could decorate our properties with things like bear rugs, heads mounted on walls, maybe stuffed birds and critters sitting on shelves, all ones that we have hunted ourselves. Giving some sort of decorative customization of homes would be a great way to personalize them, and show off our exploits.
Properties are definitely a thing, and I think we will have more options to customize our properties in Red Dead Online.

Usually, people are really interested in the story, and wanting to know exactly what happens. I am guilty of rushing through the story, but I restarted again, so I can take my time.

Did you guys see that Fornite beat our RDR2 for one of these awards things? I can't remember which one it was but I was dumbfounded. This is why kids should not be allowed to vote. Like come on.
Fortnite won the game of the year for the Golden Joysticks awards which are so irrelevant. The Game Awards it the real award ceremonies. Also, Fortnite came out in 2017, and Fornite is just the most mainstream game. Just because a game is mainstream, doesn't mean it's the game of the year. Nobody even knew what the Golden Joysticks was until they got their big attention with "Fornite beats RDR2 for the ultimate game of the year" yeah they got their views and clicks alright.

There will be deals online from Thursday till like next weekend. Just check where you shop. I think the bulk of the best online deals happens next week though.
I usually find awesome steals on Amazon. Also, you can make a new account and have Prime free for 30 days. So amazing deals with 2-day free shipping.

Thanks for the share.

What?! I didn't know there was no optical. I have the original PS4. Wonder why they did that.
Anyway, try one of these: HDMI Audio Extractor - Tendak 4K HDMI to HDMI Audio Splitter and Optical Toslink SPDIF + 3.5mm Stereo HDMI ARC Adapter Converter Support 3D ARC for PS4/3/ Pro/ Roku/ Bul-Ray https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DFDQ6HG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_sTR7BbB54XJ3C
It will strip the digital audio from HDMI for you.
Thank you for the suggestion. I will definitely have to try this out.

Greetings, everyone. I somehow ended up around these parts, and figured I'd register and stick around. I'm 42 and been playing games since the atari days. I play a bunch of different stuff, but RDR2 has had my undivided attention, and most likely will for a while. There's not really anything exciting about me. I work a regular day job, play video games, and occasionally interact with the family.
I play on PS4, and my PSN ID is the same as my profile name. I'll be around in RDR2 online, so if anyone wants to go fishing or hunting or whatever feel free to add me.
Welcome to the wild west @DeaD_GooN

I would guess so unless there is an option to turn it off.

Spoiler
There are only two endings, unfortunately. Helping John escape in my opinion was the best ending of the game, rather than going for the money. "Be loyal to what matters."

Hello @LandoB
First and foremost, welcome to the forum!
I have gone ahead and moved this thread to "Introduce Yourself". In the future, please make sure you are posting in the correct category so we can keep things nice and tidy and easy to find.
Again, welcome to the forum, and I hope you enjoy your experience here at RDR2.org

Haha this is like politics now. You get to show off something for participating.
I don't actually vote for there. I never have. I already know RDR2 is winning it. No question about it.
Yeah, I normally don't vote when the titles don't interest me a lot.

i was lucky and stayed away from anything until i beat the game
Yeah, that's pretty much the idea. However, most people interfere with spoilers when they are looking for help on a particular subject, and then that's how they usually get spoiled because when your looking for ideas and help and go into a discussion of the game, of course someone is going to let a spoiler slip.

If the storyline draws you that deep into the game, then the game developer did its job!
