Yes, it was very hard to see Arthur go on such terms. I built a big connection playing him, and I was very upset when he passed. You can definitely recognize good story writing when you feel sad about a character.

Video games are really challenging to make perfect, especially at this level with so many details and options. Game possibilities are pretty much endless, so it's impossible for developers to NOT make mistakes here and there.

I bought the game for the story and the online mode. I am usually an online gamer, but it's a Red Dead game so I needed to play the story to see what happened before John Marston's story.

No word, or leaks as of yet on the release date for the Red Dead Online beta, unfortunately. Rockstar has said it will be here for November.

It would not surprise me in the least if they have similar issues that GTA V Online had in the beginning. Servers kept crashing because so many people were trying to all get on at once. Only so much servers can handle and day one will likely have a lot of setbacks. I plan on waiting until the game is out of Beta before I even bother playing it.
I heard Rockstar teamed up with a big server company which will be a better system so that we all don't crash when Red Dead Online comes out due to traffic.

I've seen a couple people around here state some pretty specific numbers on the time they have spent in-game so unless they keep meticulous records of how long they play, they must be able to tell some other way.

I highly commend the mods here for volunteering to dive into spoiler territory for the sake of others. Unfortunate that new members don't bother reading the rules. Maybe have a subforum meant for new people before letting them into the main forum. They must make one post within the subforum, say the Introductions forum where they also have to verify they've read the rules and give the answer to a question found in the middle of the rules before a mod unlocks their ability to post in the rest of the forum...

I will definitely bring this idea up with the staff, and see what they have to say about it. Meanwhile, I already finished the game so the spoilers do not bother me, but I try and catch the spoilers and hide them before other users start seeing them. Knowing the forum is getting bigger and bigger every day, it's getting challenging to catch every spoiler that is posted, which is why I think your idea could work.

Yeah, that's true. I honestly went through the main story way to fast, I am restarting and going back to do all of the side missions, challenges, and other stuff I may have missed.
