I didn't think anything could be worse than the cops in GTA, but getting a bounty for being motionless on your horse is beyond ridiculous.
True.

That exact thing happened to me. The most infuriating part was I tried to ride around him but he jumped backward into me.
Yeah I turned off my system when that happened, I needed a beer quick and fast. That was brutal to have that happen LOL.

If anything ridiculous makes it into online I am never playing it. I hope having the option to have a pink mane on your horse wasn't a warning shot for things to come.
Red Dead Redemption 2... head into the general store to pick up your Dildo melee weapon!
*cough* Call of duty reference *cough*

Really hope they dial this back.
You don't even want to hear how many times I FINALLY reach a town so I can fast travel, and I'm so relived to make it there after a long ass horse ride, just to have someone walk in front of me so they can get hit by my horse, and the entire town is on me....

I also got mugged by some kids then got a bounty for defending myself.
Someone punches me in the face, and they don't get in trouble, but once I start running away from the guy, and I run into someone, I'm instantly wanted. LOL.

I also think economy will be a factor - maybe they keep an eye on what people are making in SP and what they are spending so they can factor this into their decisions on costing etc. Let's hope we don't have another ridiculous mess like GTO where a teaspoon would cost $500k.
Or a flying car blows you up when you spawn into the game.

Yeah definitely some gems in there, and the epilogue has some really varied and unusual missions throughout which is a nice change of pace.
Can't wait to to finish the epilogue, but I just can't get over what happened, I'm literally going crazy. The beginning of the story was very very slow, but once you get into Saint Denis, the story gets REALLY good.

Like I've said in another post, I just hate the repetitive "Go to do the thing, thing goes wrong, have to kill 200 men from behind a rock, race back to camp and have to kill another 50 men who are chasing you." Really started to grate on me after the tenth time it happened, and little did I know there were another 47 missions after that which followed the exact same template. The story itself is good but the way they translated that into missions was abysmal.
I'm so into the story, I don't even recognize the template. Honestly, the only repetitive thing to me was the horse riding, but even that wasn't that big of a deal. It changes mission styles here and there, but the majority of the game is mass killing and running. That's what outlaws did, but man oh man, I am losing my god dam mind man, I can't believe the things I've seen in the story. I'm not sure how to tell you without spoiling the story to others, but oh my goodness I can't believe what I seen, and YOU know exactly what scene I'm talking about. What a crazy experience, I'm not done yet, I just started the epilogue.

I blast the story mode in Rockstar games because I'm not a fan of them. My money's worth comes from freeroam. Don't feel sorry for us, kid.
I'm almost done with the story, and I seen a lot of things, and I'm not going to spoiler it, but @Benjo there is a lot of jaw dropping moments... THE STORY IS ****ING INSANE... this is probably the most epic story of all time man.

Nope. I can’t even buy them back. This is an absolute nightmare tbh
Look in your downloads, you don't have to buy them again, they are already downloaded.

RockstarIntel.com mentioned the RDR2 forum, and Rockstar has responded "We are currently hard at work fixing [the issues]."

So i did something really stupid and wanted to retrace my steps. I loaded a previous auto save and came across the most horrific sight. My beautiful thoroughbred named Marceline (named after the Vampire queen Herself) was remplaced by an ordenary Tennessee Walker!! All my stats where the same and even the Name was completely the same! Also my Dlc outfit was gone and replaced by the regular gunslinger outfit. Does anyone had the same problem? Any idea How to fix it? Since i paid €80 for those extra’s i would like to use them XD. Please help!
The same thing happened to me, but I have the digital copy. I quit the game, and re-downloaded the DLC files, and got my horse back, where I can obtain it in the stables.
Go to the main Red Dead Redemption 2 download page, and then if your DLC files are installed, delete them, and re-download, it should only take a few seconds.
Also, this information is for PS4, if you have XBOX, the steps may be different, but similar.
Hope this helps 😎

Guys what is Red Dead online going to be ? sorry if this question has been asked or answered but I didn't play GTA.
Read Dead Online is the multiplayer of the game. It isn't out yet, but should be coming out soon as a beta. It's kind of like GTA online, but obviously it will be different. No flying cars and motorcycles.

I was playing a main mission, the one in Rhodes (or however it’s spelled) where you choose to deal with one of the two families. I got to the part where you steal the Braithewaits horses but then the game glitched and didn’t let me do continue the mission. i tried to reload the game but when I started my game up again it sent me back to the beginning mission. i spent many hours on this game so if there’s anyway i can get my saves back I would be grateful. I really don’t want to spend another 3+ hours doing missions i’ve already done.
Please edit this post and put it under a spoiler hider. Also, hit the start button and go to Story>Load Game and your save should be there, if it isn't, that's unfortunate...

I have noticed this to...I hope they can tighten things up a bit in future updates?
I sure hope so, it would make the game that much better. If they can fix the frame drop in cities, the delay in simple commands, and maybe improve the shooting mechanics a little more and make the Arthur more responsive... I would be very happy.

It took me a while to get used to it, not just gunplay but just the way that Arthur moved. He's so slow! It was really noticeable in the few hours but now i've played a bit more it doesn't feel so bad.
Yeah, the way he moves is a little slow and has a delay, I've noticed delays also when doing actions such as, picking up people, tying people up, sitting down, and basic mechanics like that, they have a huge delay and it kind of aggravates me.

Yeah it feels like they're still using the exact engine they've used since GTA 4. The bolt action rifle is terrible - most of the time I hit the trigger to shoot and he just ***** the gun instead.
Yeah hopefully their isn't to much weapon sway when your Online, that would be beyond annoying. Rockstar is using the same engine they always used. Not broken, why fix it? The RAGE engine has improved big time, and it's capabilities.

begging for chapter skip cheats
Wow, that must sick. Make sure your careful about what files you delete. Once you delete the file, it's not recoverable, its permanently deleted.

Yes, but only coach or the special map Arthur gets, but even that is very limited ... or have I actually missed something obvious .. remember red dead 1, you could fast travel from your fire/camp to anywhere, anytime
I found the horse riding to be over bearing once I discovered and unlocked the stagecoach. Once I started using the stagecoach, traveling for me was a breeze. Riding across the world is a pain and takes time, with the stagecoach, your across the world instantly for a small price.
Yeah, traveling is a big part of the game, as technology and transportation was very limited back then, but at least we have the option to travel city to city fast, so you don't have to ride across the entire world.

This is probably the UFO, that can be seen in one of the easter eggs.

Good, but too buggy
in Red Dead Redemption 2
Posted
The game is amazing, but it's obviously not perfect. It's only the Day 1 patch, and there is a lot of bugs to work out. Honestly, I think they were taking their time way to much, until they realized they needed to push out a release, and the dead line was coming up.
