  1. So I was just thinking...

Since John and his future wife joined the gang in 1891... Maybe the game will take place in the 1880s and lead into him joining. We can see the gang develop and at the end see just how John got into it. This is assuming he wont be in most of the story line and not a playable character. What do you guys think about that? Is it possible? Would you enjoy that angle?

  2. Something I just thought of was what if they make us pay to play online?

Like what if they make the online end an "add on" feature to the game and charge an additional $20 or $30 to play it in the form of DLC. Would you still play it? Assuming it was THAT good?

This is something that I would like to see but highly doubt will happen. That is too complex for an online option. Don't forget the game itself is selling for the same price as all the other games out there so they wouldn't give us THAT much online.

I hate to agree but yes, this.

There is only so much they will do for the online end of the game. We don't want it to be so good they start charging us to play it.

For me it's just about focusing on the single-player experience primarily and leaving the online on the burner plates for those that are interested. Sadly I fear we'll get "Buffalo" cards or some other similar crap instead of additional single-player DLC after the game has released ala GTA V.

Ignore me though as I'm an old git and I have just about zero interesting in anything involving multiplayer (and I'm definitely not subscribing to a service to get access to it either B|).

I know a lot of people who aren't fans of online games. It isn't that uncommon. Some people prefer campaigns. I like a mix of both. I have a friend who only cares about online play as he gets bored playing by himself.

  5. Maybe a Netflix subscription? Or Hulu? I got that as a gift last year and it was very welcomed! haha

I am hard to shop for myself. Wish I could be of more help.

Ehhh I just read about this. I didn't play the first one but I know a lot of people who loved it. I completely forgot Rockstar even made that one. I may play it, may not. I would have liked a bit of new on RDR2 before this announcement/leak. lol

Same here. It isn't something I am excited over but I had a friend who hasn't shut-up about it. He was a huge fan of the first one.

Knowing me I will end up getting it just because my friends will be playing it lol

I was thinking about this and since they are playing true to the old wild west, why not have some encounters with legit people like they did in Assassin's Creed? I am mainly talking about inventors and such. Maybe running into some famous people from the times would be pretty cool. I guess this depends on where it is set but still. Thoughts/opinions on this?

    Eh. Um. Well...

This is not in their taste and it does nothing for me. I was never a fan of AC either so that may be why this isn't that appealing to me.

You can say this but still. I do get frustrated. Yeah it has only been like half a year but I don't care. I am with you. They should have waited.

The more I read and see online I think we will be getting it this year after all. Usually delays are announced far in advanced right?

I mean this has been the case for several other games that were delayed in the past.

Yeah I read that. This is why I made the thread. Just curious of what other people were thinking on the subject.

Ahh okay. I wasn't meaning to step on your toes or anything lol

I do like the idea of having it be an option. It isn't something I would personally use but the option being there is good for those who would.

If I am not mistake there is a model or two in between those. The C930e seems to be the best in terms of using online. I mean if this is what the OP wants.

Good call! You are right. I am not sure what the differences are between the two but they run for around the same price on Amazon.

  11. They both suck. Almost all social media is filled with garbage, hate, and just trolling. I am pretty much over it all. I think people will start to get bored with it and move on to the next thing. A lot of people my age have either stopped using these sites all together or seldom use them.

  12. I normally don't do these but I want to try and be active for the give-away... LOL

My name is Vick, friends call me Vicksun. Old joke from when I was young... play on words... it kind of stuck.

Been a fan of most Rockstar games over the years and also enjoy other games like CoD, WoW, and DOOM.

  13. I am one of the people who likes playing both online and storyline modes in games.

One of my biggest disappointments with RDR1 was the card shark aspect where people were rewarded based on spending and not actual time spent in game. I don't like games that do this crap. I see a lot of it on Steam and I refer to them as P2W games aka PAY to WIN. I hope they do away with this.

What is the issue with it? I mean I am sure they will change it but I have no had a single problem with the taming at all.

I don't think it was a major issue just a minor annoyance. The horses sometimes would keep running when you called them to you or you would be glitched off your horse and take damage.
