Never dreamed about a game much less one before it was released but that is pretty cool. Shows how big of a fan you are. I need to step up my game here. For shame.

I completely forgot about that. Yeah I think they do bids for this kind of thing too. I think whoever puts more into it gets to claim the video footage in ads. I think that is how it works. I can't entirely remember.

I was getting into Lucifer and then I heard they canceled it so now I don't even want to finish it. This always happens to me. I don't find myself getting into too many shows these days and the ones I do get the plug pulled out. Same with Last Man On Earth. Bunch of BS.

We are looking at having a hot next few days. As much as I don't care for the heat, I can go for some sun. Been so dang cloudy and rainy here.

Some kind of sport-inspired games would be cool. I am saying just strickly got the hell of it and the fun of it. Add in some like ranch field baseball or something where teams of 8 can face each other.

I have an idea of how I want my day to go but I can't say how it will be this earlier on. I have to make sure I get off of work for what I want to do. I would like to get the game at a midnight release and play it all night (taking off the following day).

If I had to guess based on what I have already seen people complaining about, it will be the DLC. I think they will either come out too over-priced and heavy stacked with content or they won't give enough... Or maybe even give us a bunch of crap most people don't even like.

I have always enjoyed FPS games the most overall. I love the angle the cameras are on these games and I am a huge fan of shooter games or any games involving guns.

I was debating on giving it a try on PC. This is assuming it isn't a demanding game. I need to do some updates when I have the cash. None of my friends play it which is why I have been hesitant to try it. I am just wondering how it is on PC and if it is worth downloading... Also, this isn't a pay to win game is it?

We only know of the few mentioned/shown in the trailer. No leaks. There likely won't be any leaks. Rockstar knows how to cover their trails. We should get news on the game and more about it over the summer but no one knows when.

7 months still feels like a long time but I know what you mean. I think the fastest part of the year though is near the end... Like October to December flies by fast.

I was thinking about this. I know I am a bit late to the thread but what if they focused as much on the interior as exterior and environment? Would it really make THAT much of a difference at the end of the day? I don't think it will. The game will likely be spent mostly outdoors and that is where the prime focus should be. I mean if they want to make mission buildings and shops fancy, go for it but I honestly don't care.

Those games are copy/paste and have been for the longest time. Last one I enjoyed was Black Ops II and that was only because of the people I was playing with. They should be worried cause of gamers like us who won't waste money on their crap.

Does it really matter? I mean it will obviously be starting before the last one and may or may not lead up to John's story.
I guess this is something to talk about though. We do have time to kill here. Stupid delay. I will guess 1891.

I am thinking about 70% will play online. I don't think all people who buy this game are interested at all in playing online but a majority of them will play.

I am not sure if they will keep the promise or not at this point but the silence is not surprising. We just went into a new year, people are focused on goals and packing away Christmas junk, plus after Christmas and New Year's sales. If we get any news on the game, it likely won't be till after the Super Bowl my guess.

The change was absolutely seamless for the session owner and worked very well. The downside was if you right in the middle of a mission where you may have been depending on that AI but that was usually overcome rather quickly. Besides, you always had the option to turn off the feature if you're in such a situation and rather not be disturbed.
My main point is that the mechanic works and there are things that can be tweaked easily enough to help prevent some of the issues folks here have brought up. When friends joined, they saw the same cutscenes, etc. in the story as the main character (just as you would if you were playing it yourself). It worked quite well and I would love to be able to play co-op in the RDR2 main campaign.
Fair points here. I was going to come in and say hell no to this but if it is an option you can turn on and off and it worked like GRW, then I would be game to give it a go. I have wanted a Rockstar co-op campaign for some time but I never would have thought of one working in RDR or RDR2.

This is a tough one. I guess I would buy the ring, borrow the dress, and sell the Honeymoon seeing as it would have to be a gift from someone else cause I wouldn't be paying for that! lol

That was the icing man. I really though they couldn't get any worse. They clearly only care about the money they make off people. A lot of the changes they have done with the phones have been changes a majority of people just don't like.

Do you guys think there will be gang roles established online for people who want to form a group? Like there will be the guy in charge who has the most access to everything and then people that fall under him? I would like to see something like this cause it can bring in a group loot factor to the online end of the game.

Hard to say now. Depends on my schedule but I will likely be losing sleep the first few days. You guys will likely be in the same boat. Any time a new game comes out that I have been waiting for, I just can't pull myself away from it.

In terms of the topic, I don't think online will be more important. They said themselves they will be more focused on the success of the campaign. They felt they made a mistake in GTA V by letting the storymode come up lacking and a lot of people voiced complaints about it.

We won't. They will just pocket the difference. They will save tons of cash not having to make those things and we won't see a penny back because of it.
