I feel like if they do something similar in RDR2 it would also not make much sense, as mentioned, this is likely going to be a prequel. I am not a fan of killing off any of the main characters in any game. I hate it in movies and shows too.
Sometimes it does well in movies and the like to progress the story or make you really feel for what you just experienced. I had no issue with it in GTA and if they do something like this again, it won't bother me.

Nah it is everywhere. I had issues earlier. I am going to browse later tonight when it slows down. The sale goes till July 5th so you have time. I am guessing the games will be put on rotation though.

I'm guessing they will just be doing new things that will set the games of the past apart from the games of the future. Things like 4K graphics, maybe better physics and sounds, just things like that that we will be seeing all games improve in.

I actually forgot hearing about this until I just seen it here. A bit of a late reply but still I agree. I am not sure why anyone would believe something like this.

I don't really see the point in it. I hardly seen anyone using it in GTA V myself.
I guess it may be useful for some stuff but the whole point of games like this is to play in 3rd person.

Oh for sure. I can bet this place will be loaded by the end of this year even. RDR has a lot of fans that will come out of the wood work.

I agree. It will be the same and nothing like GTA V. Even if the online ends up being amazing, the kid crowds won't be on till later in the year at which point all the true fans will already have a control over the servers.

I am going to say June 4th due to a minor delay because of some online server issues. I feel like they are going to run into something that pushed the game backa few weeks after it is already made.

True. Still pisses me off that they didn't. I think this stuff is great for humor and just recording value. I enjoy watching people play games like this and GTA on Youtube. Like could you imagine the amount of fun to be had with men dressed up like women taking place in the 1800's!? haha

I think it would be funny to have some cross gender shenanigans. Don't think it was a thing?
It would have to be part of some kind of "pack" obviously but being able to be a man running around in a dress would be hilarious.

I don't want to aim too high or anything without knowing more on the game but I think this is a safe bet.

If they are going to be true to history then there will be some amount of gambling and likely some Native Americans in the main story line. I could actually see a rival gang of sorts taking place. I don't know all the history of it but I do know that there were still some hostile NA's in that time who HATED the white devils. lol

They may be doing a similar genre but no one is going to be comparing the two games, trust me. It is like comparing apples and oranges. They are both similar in shape but the colors are different and some people are more of apple fans while others are more or orange fans. I am basically saying what Nic said.

Oh I agree for sure with that. I mean the mechanics felt like they were 5 years behind with that game. I would like to think Rockstar have something up their sleeves to improve it in RDR2.

Yeah apparently people still have their hopes up too. I am not shocked they stopped it. They want all the focus on RDR2 not some mod on GTA V.

NO CHANCE. It will likely be coming out in November or December, if they even make it this year. Seems like it will be released in 2018.
Seems like all things are pointing to next year even. Man... This is just one of those things that we will be stuck in the dark about until something, anything is said from Rockstar.
