Hmmmm .... I wish I knew how that worked. It might be useful. But at the moment it feels almost random luck as to whether I even see my camp in a game session or not.

Yeah i lost a $100 yesterday. i think if you quit before an autosave you lose your gains. Not sure eaxctly what causes a save online.

Knowing my luck I'd get a bunch of screamers and racist trolls.
Rather just play with the fam and RL friends. Cowardly, I know - but my time is too precious to risk playing with goonballs.

My new policy is to largely ignore the grind and play for fun. Easier to say than do, though.
Sure, I'll still hunt and sell etc - but only so long as it is fun. I'll hunt for a bit, fish for a bit, then do something else. I wont keep pace with the dedicated farmers and grinders, but so what? So long as i play enough to just about make sure I'm not totally over-powered in the death matches I'll cool with it.
Glitches are tempting, but if boring, why bother? It's not so much a moral issue for me, as just a I want to play to have fun issue.

I think their victims like to see them as life fails compensating, but for all you know they are multi-millionaires with the life of old riley, with great health, fantastic relationships, meaningful jobs, and a great sense of self worth. And rather than be moronic it's entirely possible they are post-grads who went to the best schools and have an IQ of 180.
It just so happens that they are also asshats of the first order.
Not that that helps their victims feel much better.

I dont mind limited MTs. You know, pay a few quid for some cool cosmetics or what not. Or even some cash for extra DLC content (I did buy UE after all). Or even to get things a little bit quicker than most. Fair enough.
But paying a lot of real cash for major advantage weaponry, horses, equipment, or even for sole access to stuff, or to get stuff massively quicker than others ... Seems a bit tawdry imho. Still, businesses gonna business.

Same reason as why vandalise public toilets, bully children, and troll post youtube comments.
Given that you cannot steal anything from anyone, it can be the only reason.
I dont mind, actually I enjoy, having a sense of threat from rival posses trying to interfere in a mission, or get into a fair gun fight, or start a bar brawl. But this kind of silliness, like shooting a pelt loaded horse, or camping at the butcher, or lassoing people stuck in animation, and ganging up on a solo player for no reason .. it's just bullying, tbh.

Seems a redundant currency format. It can only mean microtransactions - and i wonder how expensive that'll be? How much for 10 gold, I wonder?

Canoes can definitely be had. Tried to get to Siskin penitenary - it boot so out. Also tried to go north - auto death. But fun in a local area.
