I hear ya.  However, its not like Rock* didn't mention way early on that if your horse dies in game, it is gone for good. I get the frustration , but I also get what ROCK* was trying to do here.  The only thing you can do is create multiple save files and save often, that way if you do end up losing your horse you can at least, go back to a earlier save and get it back.

My war horse died and I cannot find it anywhere. I searched all stables on the map, this is plain bullsh*t. What exactly do they expect? Your horse should not die the entire time you play the game?
