You level up your dead eye the more you use it. Higher levels let you do that.

As with all Rockstar games most of the first hours are taken up with missions so it's difficult to get a full grasp, especially as it feels like I've literally touched on 0.001% of what the game has to offer. I've not even had chance to check out the awesome views and amazing atmosphere, but yes, I can tell you that just strolling through the muddy streets of some tiny little village is epic. I'm looking forward to trekking off and experiencing the world, but for now, all about missions.

So, here I was today, enjoying the game, galloping along on my horse... And rode it head first into a tree. I for some reason, assumed that it would just kinda bounce off to the side of it and keep on going. Nope.. Knocked the poor horse out cold for a few seconds. Total wtf moment for me and absolutely loved that they put this kind of thing into the game. Felt sorry for my poor horse but couldn't stop thinking about how damn amazing it was that it happened. Can't wait to get to fishing and crafting.
Yeah I accidentally stepped onto someones porch with my horse and we both fell off backwards, the horse landing on its side. Felt bad, man.

Third party shooters always feel like this, a bit cumbersome and separated, it's just a quirk of third person mode. Until I've spent some serious time in first person I'm going to reserve judgement.

Are you sure that's not when the stream embargo lifts? Everyone plays it on the 26th, so it will be 00:01 UK time for you. The lift on the stream embargos starts when the first timezone hits 00:01 on the 26th, which is Aus. You'll still have to wait until midnight UK time to play.

You'd think so but even R$ have said that they're aware that some people get the game early so they can't stop leaks. Seems like an online check as the game loads would be such as simple way of stopping people laying early. Not sure why they don't do it.
