Because if you buy a digital version you can't play it if the network or your internet is down.
You mean you can't download it in the first place, right? Digital games are stored on the console and you can play them whether you have internet or not. There's literally no difference between them and physical copies, other than the initial install.

Always go with a physical copy.
Why so?

if Charles is a superior Hand 2 Hand fighter than Arthur so how is it possible that Arthur is a better enforcer than Charles, if Charles is a better h2h fighter than Arthur?
Erm brains and gun skills? Decision making? Intimidation? Size? Strength? Confidence? Demeanour?
Also, where in the text does it say he's better than Arthur? It just said he's a good fighter.....

They should allow it among gang members at the very least. Like have it where you can play your friends on your campsite or something.
It's possible that it would be online actually, if you are only gambling between players. That way there's always an even balance of money (ie you;re not taking it from the bank, you're taking it from other players). As there is already betting in GTAO there is actually, thinking about it, a very high chance it could be in RDRO.

For me it's a combination. Be able to partake in a fair gunfight when I want, but also be able to disappear somewhere if I want some peace.

I wouldn't be shocked to have Arthur gunned down in the beginning of the third act, and to finish up as a younger Marston.
I thought this at first but have since changed my mind. This topic has been discussed heavily 'ere.

Have you just ruined RDR2 for me?

Missed opportunity, right there. If you had put "Massive" in quotation marks, you could have turned it into a Tom Clancy's: The Division joke and followed up with a Horatio Caine sunglasses gif. Like this:
I have no idea what this means

I'm going to dress him in the latest fashions from San Francisco, as I fancy him as a dandy. He will have proper hogs fat in his hair, and finely waxed mustaches. Perhaps a monocle, if available as an option, along with a pipe.
Hopefully I can achieve this look.

I can't help but feel R$ went a little bit EA with their pricing and general greed in GTAO. If it's the same with RDR2 I will be BITTERLY disappointed, and I truly mean that. If there is any aspect of this game that I see as greedy or trying to f*** the user for ca$h, I'd see it as really sad. GTA, fair enough. The demographic is a bunch of whiny kids with their mum's credit card. But not RDR. Please not RDR. We are real gamers. Don't screw us too.

This is a given. Also I heard that his beard grows and you can shave it how you want it. If it's short, for instance, you can't suddenly choose to have a long one, you have to wait for it to grow. Kinda cool.

Twitter was launched in 2007 but wasn't popularized by mainstream media until around 2013. I think GTA had already been out a year by then.
Haha, thanks for the clarification

How was GTA V handled when it was nearing release? I don't remember that far back. I don't even know if they did anything major on Twitter for it.
Was Twitter even a thing then? Feels like GTAV was released about 15 years ago.

I earned tens of thousands from poker so I'm glad that's back in. Will it be online? Highly doubtful due to gambling restrictions (discussed somewhere in another thread) which is a shame.

Never could fathom the rules for that game.

Yes I am happy there is only 1 protag, but am I 100% happy with the one they have come up with? No. I'd much prefer someone that looks more like a badass than a dad. Like Micah Bell - he struck me as a brilliant character the first time I saw him speak in the trailer as he looked like someone a bit crazy and a bit of a badass. Would have much preferred that kind of character than Arthur.

Bear in mind that GTO started off with a realistic economy too. You only have to look at the price of older cars. It all changed when they realised they completely underestimated how much could be earned in certain ways, so they had to boost the car prices. Not only that, the more they charged for things, the more shark cards would be bought. Either of these scenarios could happen regardless of whether we are talking cents or millions of dollars - it is only relevant when compared to a) how much you can earn and b) how much things cost to buy. The denominations and how much you actually keep in your pocket are completely irrelevant.

I'm predicting the ending now.
