I haven't been this pumped for a game since Halo 3.
And on the 9th day the Lord said "let there be a RDR2 gameplay video", and the RDR2 gameplay video cometh.

It wasn't risky for George Lucas:
Neither was a terrible script.

Me too as I think R* will have plenty of activities to do so if one is not your cup of tea, you won't be stuck having to do it.
Nice relaxing sit by the lake early morning, spot of fishing, lovely.

Well, looks like fishing will be an activity in RDR2 from the new gameplay trailer. ......sorry Bropollo.

I'm pretty happy about this.

Please use this thread to discuss the new gameplay trailer

The deaths look so real, how they fall, how their bodies fly in the direction of the bullet they've been hit with.
Did anyone see this where a guy was shot on horseback and the horse threw him off? Looked amazing:

Also this guy looked super realistic how he fell:

Hyped!!!!

I agree. Totally.
. . . but how? ????
The same way RD Redemption blew away RD Revolver. Graphics, details, gameplay, immersion, storyline, animals, NPC interaction, characters. All of them.

This artwork makes me wonder though if we'll be able to fan the hammer
Not sure if someone above has already pointed this out but I heard in one of the interviews that you can. They have changed the way you fire, so holding down the trigger slightly draws back the hammer (to intimidate people), then all the way fires the gun. Fanning the hammer is possible by holding down the trigger if I remember rightly.
From a game site:
QuoteExpect gunplay to evolve in Red Dead Redemption 2. Since this is the Wild West, a lot of it has you using a revolver and this time around Rockstar is intent on making it feel involved. Holding the trigger on the controller raises your revolver’s hammer and letting it go allows you to fire a shot. Mashing it fans the hammer allowing for multiple shots. You can also fire an entire magazine without Dead Eye — the series’ take on slow-mo shooting. Weapons can be customised and upgraded and while you carry a few guns on your person accessible via a weapon wheel, a bulk of your heavy arsenal is stored on your horse.

I'm going to be playing this game until RDR3

I would like to see dogs play some kind of role online. It doesn't have to be as in depth as Far Cry or anything like that. Small features like this make online games more appealing longterm for me.
The pet bears and cougars in FC were a bit silly but your interaction with the dog was semi-believable. It would have to be realistic and as they have done away with the "magic whistle" for your horse I wouldn't expect anything like that for a dog.

Otherwise, all my in-game budget is going to go toward buying #&@%ing hats.
Also knowing R$ they will start at $50,000

Think about it this way: Jack Marston is roughly the same age as Moe Howard. Granted, Moe was born in New York, but you didn't see HIM running around dressed like a gunslinger in his twenties.

I can't stop watching the little mouth he blows through on that gif

To me, it depends on your definition of the word.
In terms of COD, when someone sits in the corner of a room and waits for people to enter, then kills them, then continues sitting there until someone else turns up. That's camping. If they were on my team I would drop a smoke grenade so they had to get up and move. Jerks.

Worst about Jack, you *had* to finish the game with him. No option to go back to playing as John (as he was suffering from a mild case of death).
There was a cheat where you could play as John again if I remember.

See, I don't group "camping" and "griefing" in the same context.
To me, "camping" is finding a strategic spot from which to snipe enemies. However, that being said, I'm strongly opposed to *any* camp spot being "untouchable" -- meaning, once the camper is there, there's NO way to remove them or kill them. To me, that isn't a "camp" spot - that's an exploit which needs to be patched. I'm fine with it being HARD to kill them in that spot, but impossible? No way. But to me, I'm fine with good "camp" spots which offer strong defense and from which one can pick other players off. If someone finds one and starts destroying my team with it, I smile. Because hey! Guess where *I'M* racing to next time I play this location?? ???? (*NOTE: This does NOT apply to "Spawn Camping." If you camp at a spawn location and kill others the SECOND they re-spawn, you need to just pack it up and go to hell, sir. That's "griefing," in my book.)
On the other hand, "griefing," to me, is INTENTIONALLY being a butthole to everyone else playing and having fun by TRYING to ruin the fun of others. You can "camp" at a good snipe spot and just be trying to help your team. You're not TRYING to ruin the fun of others. It's not cheating, either. Hell, if you were in a real battle and could find a great defensible spot where you could pick off others and they couldn't easily get at you, WOULDN'T YOU USE IT??! Griefing, though, is a blatantly malicious act, in my book.
tl;dr - "Camping = usually okay." "Griefing = we all hate you and please die."
Camping is never OK, especially in COD. Open world games you can't really camp.

So I've been going back and forth with this. What are the pros and cons of a digital copy? Makes me nervous not physically having the game. Could there be a scenario where I lose the download? I'm not hip to this sh*t so someone please explain it to me. Muchos gracias .
I remember answering this ages ago - your downloads are linked to your PSN or XBL account so as long as you login as the right account you can d/l any game that you have previously purchased using that account.

Fishing/Boating?

Yeah the IGN guys spoke of that, saying it was pretty saddening how they had to go and finish off a suffering, crying deer with a knife.
