I think we know where I sit on which is my favourite.
1. There Will Be Blood
2. Assassination of Jesse James (OST is AMAZING)
3. No Country For Old Men, which incidentally was filmed in the same location and at the same time as There Will Be Blood

As long as they don't keep releasing rubbish adversary modes every week. Seriously, does anyone even play those?

Regardless of age they still have different colour eyes

I've learned a lot about astrophysics and thermodynamics

Is anyone on here an Outlaw yet? If not... We should wager who the first one will be. I think admins have an unfair advantage though

I just realized the Collectors Box was separate from the Ultimate Edition.

Yeah also remember you don't get the game with the collector's box

From the earlier interviews people were saying it was probably legit. Also there have been some confirmations on things like New Bordeaux (name change though) from something in the collector's box, can't remember what, but yeah a lot of people saying it's not fake.

If this is an online thing, how would things work if the dog got shot and killed? Unless the dog doesn't actually attack other players, therefore, the dog can't be attacked or killed. I guess you can leave it open to being killed by other animals though if they aid with hunting.
If they did have something like this then I don't see why the online mechanism would need to work any differently to the offline mode. Dog gets shot, get another dog.
In all seriousness though I would bet my house on this not being a feature. They spoke a lot about horses and things in the previews and your relationship with them - pretty sure something would have come up by now.

I had to deal with the same thing... just sucked it up
That's massively disappointing. I know it's only $20 but still.

Can't you just buy it straight from the marketplace on PS or Xbox? They should be up on there for preorder by now.
It is on XBL but for some reason the SE (Yes @CMcC the special edition) works out as $100 (GBP - USD) rather than $80 when bought from the US. What gives?

Abigail was a prostitute so she is going to look younger and more "dolled up" with make-up so that could be her. In RDR1, she was very plain likely because she was focused on raising their boy and living a wholesome life.
True but that doesn't account for the lack of mole and different colour eyes, both being details they wouldn't have missed.

And seeing John realise he smashed his aunt.

OK so I have come to preorder the digital code version of the game but I can't find anywhere to do so other than amazon.com. The problem with this is that I am not in the US and they restrict purchases of digital downloads to the US alone. Amazon.co.uk only sells the physical copy, which I don't want.
Any ideas?

I will always stick with XBox (unless one day I get both for some reason) as I have a good gamertag.

Cant overcome the hype from GoT season 7.
Feels like so long before S8. RDR2 will be a good distraction until then I'm sure but still, COME ON

Oh I for sure need it, gotta have it. Are you willing to pass on that? Only ever watch people enjoy it on Youtube or read about it in the papers?! Come oooon Benjo. You know you're buying that Special Edish.

But I do stick by getting that bank heist and hideout. That alone, to me, is worth it.
It's a dilemma for sure. The FOMO element is the main thing we're wrestling with here I think.

For me, It's worth the extra money for the Special Edition merely for the additional story mode gang hideouts and bank heist. I want as much story content as i can get, and when I'm playing that hideout and robbing that bank countless times through the coming years, I won't be thinking "sh*t, i shouldn't have spent that extra 20 bucks on this." As for the outfit and the horses- eh, I don't need it. I do plan to do a lot of hunting though and so that boost to my 'environmental awareness' is going to come in handy too. I'll also score some free weapons and benefit from discounts and a dead eye boost. Like I said, I'll be enjoying all of these for years to come, so for me , it's worth forkin' over the extra skrilla bills.
I know what you mean about having as much extra content as possible, but for me the SE has some problems:
QuoteTalisman and Medallion Gameplay Bonuses: These special Story Mode items will give Arthur a helping hand whenever they are equipped. Attaching the Eagle Talon Talisman to his boot, Arthur’s environmental awareness skill will last longer. By carrying the Iguana Scale in his personal Satchel, Arthur will take less damage while riding on horseback.
Gameplay Boosts, Cash Bonuses & Discounts: This collection of exclusive Story Mode boosts, bonuses and discounts will help Arthur to survive out in the harsh wilderness and better provide for his gang members and their camp. The Core Stat boost benefits Arthur’s Stamina, Health and Dead Eye Cores. Earn more cash during robbery missions with the Van der Linde gang, and when hunting and selling animal carcasses. Receive discounts on all upgrades to the Van der Linde gang’s camp.
Free Access to Additional Weapons: A good range of weapons is essential for survival in the Old West. Get free access to three weapons at the in-game Gunsmiths in Story Mode: the robust Volcanic Pistol, devastating Pump Action Shotgun and versatile Lancaster Varmint Rifle.
I don't like having an edge straight away, not in story mode. I want to play it as it was intended, not with perks and discounts making it easier. This puts me off buying the SE massively.

I think the idea of value is more or less objective, the items would normally not cost even half that much. However if that is something you really want and are willing to pay a premium for then go for it, although I think the long term purchasing it is more damaging for the industry than not.
I think you mean subjective, and yeah I agree, only the person buying the particular editions can say what the value is to them. For me I don't care about collectables, at least not collectables that 10 million other people can also collect.
