I'm pretty sure she's in the Trailer you note.  She even sounds the same, if she is, in fact, voiced by the same actress.  The only difference I see is in eye color.  The hair, brow line, nose and lips are pretty identical, though.  Plus, they've already revealed Marston on multiple occasions, so I assume this is the one "hero" shot we've been given of her.

Yeah this has been discussed before and the consensus is that it's not Abigail. Doesn't look anything like her.

  2. Not sure. Looking through the trailers it's true I can't see anyone else with one of these satchels, and sometimes Arthur has one, sometimes he doesn't.

in order for that to happen Rockstar is giving us this small cute handy bag

That looks like a lot like an assumption - do you have a source for that? Has it been mentioned in an interview or something?

I'm not suggesting JM won't be playable, in fact I've long assumed he would be, but this seems like a bit of a stretch as a pointer that he is.

An I.D system would be great.  Just half an hour ago I was on GTAO doing some sound and settings adjustments, and 5 mins in I already had 3 guys chasing me for no reason other than to kill me for no apparent reason.  They just happened to be near my apartment in the game, and when I pulled out, they were on me like nobody's business.  Don't get me wrong, sometimes I like to get chased, but when you don't want to, it sucks!  I really just wanted to go to the weapons store and drive around, and they made it impossible, being they were on me seconds after I pulled out of my garage.  Point is, it reminded me of how bad I would like griefing to stop, and that is pretty much why I stopped playing that game.  I did pop one of them off, so 1 out of 3 is better than nothing lol

Why couldn't you use passive mode?

Nope. In fact, I didn't even know what the abbreviation stood for until I looked it up.  ????

So you think RDR2 would deliberately avoid something like that for that reason?

No I don't think so, I mentioned it in case you wanted to check it out. I doubt R$ would base anything they do on any other games tbh, they're too big for that.

I'd love to go on a hunt for "the big one," especially if there's a legendary huge catfish in a lake on a mountaintop somewhere, and you not only have to find the lake, but you have to find the right bait and gear, THEN bring it in.

This is pretty much in FC5, not sure if you've played it.

I'd be happy if you could just screw around with someone by your tent. Like maybe share some drinks, cook stuff over a fire, play some cards, just small little details. I get that they will be limited this time around and inviting someone into your tent won't be the same as an apartment... hell how many people could you actually fit in a tent!? lol

My guess would be that they would be invited to your camp, not inside your tent.

You do, and you sit down to eat as the game fades out. Then it fades back in a few hours later with you getting up and stretching. Game back on. Total time invested: 30 seconds.

Would work for offline definitely, and I wouldn't mind it being in the game. Wouldn't work for online of course as it's realtime.

  8. The format of most American TV shows.

Open with 5 minutes of recap from last show.
Then 5 minutes of spoilers for this show.
Then 5 minutes of actual footage.
    5 minute commercial break
    5 minutes of recap
    5 minutes of spoilers
    5 minutes of footage
    5 minute commerical break
    5 minutes of recap
    10 minutes of footage.
5 minutes of "next week on..."

  9. Yeah personally I like that from an immersion point of view. Could get annoying when you're working through the missions though. If they did introduce it they would have to perhaps have it as an option to switch on / off, but I can't see that happening.

I am sure there will be more to it this time around but it won't be something they spend a lot of time focusing on. I am guessing we will see some cool new features that were not in the last one but for the most part, it will be the same just with better graphics.

No we already know there are a lot more dynamics to hunting.

Say you have a PS4. You have 4 friends playing on PS4 and 3 friends playing on Xbox. If there's no cross-platform play, you can never play with all of them at once. But if it were cross-platform, and ALL SEVEN of your friends were playing together, wouldn't that make your decision to buy the PS4 version a no-brainer?

I'm not really following this. Surely owning a PS4 would make you buy the PS4 version whether it was cross-platform or not? It's online play only that they are talking about here, so PS4 players can be in the same lobbies as XBox players. The way I'm reading your post is that you are talking about the potential of buying a physical XBox game to play on your PS4, which of course would never be the case. Am I reading it wrong?
