what are you quoting?
I think it was the RDR wiki

Right on. I see your point. That makes sense. And so the rest of the open world is building up the ranch, yeah? That I can see.
Also, that would make me very happy.

Here's the problem with this- it's very anticlimactic. Ya know? The game ends with us milking cows and feeding the chickens? Stacking hay in the barn? I'm all for a happy ending with John, we all know he needs one, but this sounds like a snoozer.
It's no different than how they left the last one. I mean, what could you do with Jack other than ride around? The climax of story mode would be Arthur's death, leaving you to play the rest of the open world as John.

"Born in 1895, Jack is the only living child of John and Abigail Marston, and the sole-surviving member of the Marston family.
In 1906, John was badly wounded in a botched bank robbery. John took this as an opportunity to abandon his life of crime after he was left for dead, as John often puts it. John left with Abigail and Jack, (and presumably his daughter, who is implied to have still been alive in 1906 as stated by Javier Escuella in "The Gates of El Presidio") relocating to a ranch on Beecher's Hope to try and start afresh as farmers and give Jack a safer, quieter life."

You referring to people selling the in-game money for real money? The way they used the cards kind of cut those people off. I am sure they will stick with it.
No what i was talking about is the way that R$ make money. The model of GTA4 was to sell DLC, the model of GTA5 was to not do DLC and push shark cards for online. They have clearly (and officially) made a SHIT load more from shark cards than they ever have with DLC, so I can't see them changing this for RDR2.

I mean since this is basically not going to happen, we could assume Arthur dies or maybe he just goes into hiding? Maybe he fakes his death? The ending can be more interesting than just John pulling the trigger on him.
It's also possible that he just splits or dies between RDR2 and RDR1 timelines. But it's too good an opportunity to miss given the success of JM dying in the first one.

I cycle between GTAO, BF1 and FC5 at the moment. When RDR2 comes out I will cycle between RDR2 and RDR2.

Oh same for me man. I wouldn't buy a game full price but if it looked good enough, I would but it on sale and still play it even if the reviews were bad. Not to say this game will suck but even if it did, I would still absolutely enjoy the scenery and all the attention to detail in it.
You're not going to buy RDR2 when it first comes out?
-
We've covered this before - it's in GTA5 so it will be in RDR2.

Okay I saw the bit about how your horse will become more loyal and you'll grow attached to it but has there been any news on if we can have multiple horses that we can gain this loyalty with so that we can swap them out to make sure we've always got a backup in case Yellow Snow dies out in the wild from a shootout?
I can't answer that buddy but what I can say is that the horses testicles exist and swing with the laws of physics.

I'm on the boat with June just because it is a good month to advertise for it or start anyways. It has always been a good month be it for adult-oriented games or children's ones. This is of course for summer and fall releases.
If we do get another trailer in June then I would expect a 4th at some point.

If I remember correctly, she was lived/died after John and Abigail left the gang. I believe she was John and Abigails, but Abigail had been passed round by the gang that they ran with, so the daughter could have been anybody's.
John say's "We had a daughter" so I think that is some clue

So fishing will be a thing then? For online, that is cool. I don't care to be doing it but knowing we won't drown in puddles is a plus.
You don't swim when you go fishing, so it doesn't tell us anything about that. But you can presume we'll be able to swim.

How do you think they will prevent people from marketing on it though?
Not sure what you mean

That is a fair point I suppose. I guess I would be less likely to pay full price for some games had I watched them being played beforehand. RDR2 is different though. I am buying it regardless.
Can you not watch other people playing on YouTube a day after it has been released?

I actually forgot about her. Good point. Is that her kid though or is that with another woman? I don't remember the details with that.
I don't think it's been revealed whose kid it was but you could assume it's Abigail's. It was just in a bit of dialogue when John was riding with someone.
-
Will be interesting how the horses will work online. Can't have your prized horse being shot by some spiteful kid now, so my guess is they won't give it a permadeath.

I am guessing them leaving has to do with her getting pregnant so I think when she learns she is pregnant, maybe John is the one to find a way out for them. I can't recall the exact age of Jack but given the years of this game and the last one, I would say Abagail got pregnant before they went on the run.
Everyone keeps forgetting that Marston had a daughter who was older than Jack. If Abigail is pregnant, it's likely with their first child, not Jack.

I have a feeling the whole map will be available like GTA 5 was.
