I have two Turkamon's. My Chocolate one is called Dakota, and my grey one is called Dulcinea, after a character in Don Quixote. I have a black Arabian called Tursan, which is Thunder in Gaelic. And I have a Dutch Warm blood called Hamish, after the guy with the leg, because Buel is a Dutch Warmblood.

I also have a Thouroughbred called Herm, because occasionally she would grow balls, so Herm is short for hermaphrodite.

Online, my initial--current-- horse is a palomino, "Woody," no special significance or meaning.

I name mine after great racehorses here in NZ or Australia. I have followed over the years and won money.  Fury's Order, Bonecrusher, Might and Power, Black Caviar, Champagne.

I have an American Standardbred name Krackers, Hungarian half-breed black and white one named Oreo. My character name is Rooster. I usually name all my game characters and pets the first thing that pops into my mind when I see them.

I'm originally from Louisville Kentucky and a family that celebrated the Kentucky Derby in a big way every year regardless of where we were individually or collectively. I actually look at the list of every winners since 1875 and thought it would be cool to use the name of the winner during one of the years in which the game takes place....

Cool lol

They're all great names Major. I currently have a big white shire called Meg, she used to be Tam O'Shanter's mare before she took partial retirement, came over on the boat with Esther, my main is a Standardbred I reluctantly had to call Black Butch, it's a long story, but the name I wanted wasn't acceptable to Playstation, so I had to change a letter. There's an innocent explanation, honest...

And I keep Rick Astley in the stable, only bring him out now and again to Rickroll nosey-parkers.

Haven't exactly been able to figure out the color of my bonus thoroughbred (it's like purple, which doesnt seem right, so it could be black with the lighting making it look purple), but after playing enough story mode, I knew what kind of behavior to expect from it, so I named it Train Wreck, and it lives up to the name quite well.

I was expecting that to go somewhere else, but was a good wee story. The thing is, we're an Island race, and there's not any native black people from here, so it isn't uncommon to hear terms like this that would offend other people, that mean absolutely nothing other than an are that you're from. Like people from Cumbernauld are all Jakies..

I named my main one Dangit.

I decided on this name because everytime something gets screwed up, it is like I am blaming the horse.

Also, when I am online I can yell "Dammit Dangit!" and people think I have Tourette's or something.

I have tried to relate the names of my horse to cars some how.  I have a thoroughbred.   There is a is a car dealership nearby call Thoroughbred Ford.  So my horse's name Ford and yes he has been Found On the Road Dead a few times.

My main horse is a special boy. I don't know if he was born and landing on his head or what. He seems to have moments where he functions as a normal horse and then other times, maybe he thinks he is a bird? Not really sure. I named him "Horrorse". Basically, horror and horse combined.
